Hi everyone…just to know if I’m on the right track
I’m inviting my mum to the Uk on visit visa for 3 weeks. She is a government employee and also has a side business tho unregistered.
I plan on fully sponsoring her trip here
I put in her salary range and business income range already in the application
So I have £3k in my account and she has 1.5million naira in her account
Will this amount be sufficient or what do you think I do again
Thank you

there is a place u must fill how long u want to stay. I am saying do not document 4 months there. That’s a long time. You need to reduce the length of the trip drastically as you dnt want the visa officer thinking she has nothing to do in Nigeria.. This equals no or few ties = refusal
I would provide a longer bank statement or longer payslips as a sponsor. That’s just me

Thank you for your response

1. If your mom gets the visa and somehow decides to stay that long then it’s fine. My own advice is dnt go writing in her form or any where in the application that she is visiting to stay for 4 months. It is risky to say that and attracts more scrutiny and ultimately refusal
2. If your mom has some money in her account and you also want to sponsor, do not provide old bank statement. Like she is applying in October and u decide to bring bank statement ending in August. If that’s what you mean by dated 2 months back .. pls do not

Oh thank you
I actually thought there is a place where one inputs how long one plans to stay
Dated 2 months back I meant is 2months to application date
Also is the money enough??
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Millalorinzzz: 5:35pm On Oct 06, 2022
Hello good day everyone
I’m in the Uk and will like to fully sponsor my mum to visit for approximately 4months
Can we use my uk account dated 2months back at 4000 pounds and my naira account dated 3months back at 2million plus
Is this enough for her stay?? and is it possible to fully sponsor??
Hope it won’t raise concerns since it’s just few months back and is the money sufficient for 4months visit??
She’s got approximately 1million in her account
Can we use that too?

They say no dream is to big. And your age shouldn't stop you from aiming high in life. But with the current difficulty level of obtaining a study Visa you need a convincing sop and a strong reason to why you need that bsc. Plus your documents needs to be equally convincing....

P.s: You need to account for your study gaps. That is very important. I know you'll be advised to go for a diploma program but if you have a gut feeling about the bsc. Then go for it.
Thanks for your reply, can I use diploma degree to account for my study gap
like getting a technical school diploma

Its very possible, only if you can think outside the thinking box to give proper convincing on your study gap and other vital issues to be addressed, especially trying to tell tell the VO that you're a genuine student.

Good luck!
Thanks

Hi everyone
I am 23 years, is it possible for me to get an undergraduate degree visa
I already have a b.a degree but with 2.2, so I am considering the possibility of getting another undergraduate degree visa
I left secondary school 2012, is the gap not too much for the V.O to frown at since I will not be declaring my first degree in my application
Pls I await responses
Thanks

ECA UPDATE.
Hello House, i finally received a soft copy of my ECA from IQAS. It took approximately 6months. From November 12 to May 8. The best part is the satisfaction of seeing the assessment as a ‘first professional University Degree In Law’. My people, WES still isn’t out oo. I would have just waited time, money and less points waiting for WES. Thank you all for the wealth of Information, if not I wouldn’t have known about IQAS.
Once my husband’s 2nd IELTS result comes out successful, we’ll be diving into the pool. It will definitely end in praise..

Congratulations... at long last

You should have used IQAS sha but that ship has sailed.
Short answer to your question is YES!! Add the ND and remove the law school jare. Or since he's the accompanying spouse, you can just evaluate only the LLB, the difference between BSc and 2 or more certificates - for accompanying spouse - is just one point
The rate at which we want to leave this country is not equivalent to IQAS delay...lol
He is the P.A, we need the 2 or more certificate
We will be removing the law school option and replace with ND since it is possible
Thanks for always coming through Ifeoma

I did same, I had in the past gotten my transcript from Laspotech for Mckinsey's application with ease but years after when I needed it for WES, Laspotech came up with a long story about changing the system hence old graduates had miscomputed CGPA on the transcripts, I waited for over 3months with the story changing per second afterwhich I emailed WES to remove HND and I added my ND from Ibadan.

If you have never gotten your Certificate from Ibadan Poly, be prepared to pay almost 25k for the certificate alone as transcript will not be prepared if you haven't paid for certificate or able to present a copy of the certificate if you have it.

I claimed 2 or more combining ACCA and ND.

Please go ahead, it is possible
oh really, thanks for your response
that seems like the next line of action now

Hi everyone, Congratulations to all who have aced one stage or the other.
Seniors in the house pls help
Law school is seriously delaying boo's transcript to send to WES, since we are claiming two or more certificate.
Can we delete the Law school option on the the page and input his ond certificate instead. he has an ond in mass communication from Ibadan polytechnic
Hope it won't have any detrimental effect on our application since they are two different courses and is it possible to still modify certificates on since other bodies like Neco already sent result to wes just waiting for law school

Amen o, it is so frustrating.. IQAs takes forever too
Did you start your IQAS alongside when you used WES.

It depends on whether it is BC or IDP.
For BC, you could do online transfer or raise a draft from any bank. But note that their online transfer may give issues.

For IDP, it is online transfer to a zenith bank account

Your passport is the document required for the exam

Thank you, it is actually BC

Abeg, I just read it somewhere that ECA isn't exactly compulsory for spouse if they are able to max out their ielts score.
How far is this assertion true
Also the Pros and cons attached

Yes, you have to pay that. It is a one-off payment though. I used WES (IQAS gives better ratings for lawyers though). I did not drop my number, so you can send me an email instead.

Please I also really need to get in touch with you,
the mail option isn't going through for me

We use credit cards in Nigeria, many people have them. If you don’t have one, use your debit card (i.e ATM card). It will work just as well.

Funnily, I don't even know
how long does it take for Wes to confirm payment
I just paid but still saying payment pending
