If you don't have equivalent payslips or bank statements that match each other, don't. Ijeomaihedi: |
Depends on the school. Most often than not, attending a visa credibility interview is usually after you've fulfilled all conditions of your offer and just waiting for your CAS to be assigned. You would usually have paid your tuition deposit for this to happen. governorudeh: |
Shortage occupation: there are not enough resident workers to fill the available jobs in that particular sector. Skilled worker: any worker who has special skill, training, knowledge which they can then apply to their work. A licenced employer can sponsor skilled workers whether they are or not they are on the shortage occupation list depending on the industry and the job type. An individual on the shortage occupation list gets sponsored for a skilled worker visa but a skilled worker doesn't necessarily have to work in a shortage occupation to get a skilled worker visa as long as they have an eligible job role. Both get sponsored for skilled worker visas when successful. Check links below to see examples of both categories: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/skilled-worker-visa-shortage-occupations/skilled-worker-visa-shortage-occupations https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/skilled-worker-visa-eligible-occupations/skilled-worker-visa-eligible-occupations-and-codes eniola1010: |
Send your statement for the requested period. Seems that they want to confirm if you still have the funds in your account. Ijeomaihedi: |
As long as the job can sponsor you, you're good to go. Doesn't necessarily have to be on the shortage occupation list. Panasonic101: |
Yes. The only time BRP won't be granted is if she's applying or joining you 6 months or less to the end of your visa. Emmyrez: |

There's a sample that you can edit to suit your situation in the link below: https://www.immigrationboards.com/immigration-for-family-members/covering-letter-for-spouse-visa-t294759.html IRIEBOY: |
Any of the listed documents. 1. Bank statement if it shows the same address as her husband's. 2. Bank statement highlighting money transfers between them. 3. Pictures - during the dating stages and from the wedding. This is to show that even though you haven't lived together or been married for 2 years, you had a genuine relationship before then. 4. Chat history showing clearly the MA and dependant's numbers. This should be from as far back as possible. 5. Wedding IVs, if you have them. 6. Voter's card, if the address is updated to same address as the husband's. 7. Any joint investments. 8. Any joint accounts. 9. If the wife has done any newspaper publication, this should be included. Even though this isn't compulsory with UKVI, it can serve a form of evidence in this situation that the marriage is genuine. 10. A cover letter detailing the marriage/relationship to show that the marriage isn't up to 2 years old but is valid. IRIEBOY: |

It might not work as there will be some sort of overlap since you have to do 37. 5 hours each week except you work 2 days at 1 and 3 days at the other but doing this means that you will have to use the work time for 1 job at the other job which is technically fraud. If you worked 37.5 hours at 1 and maybe 20 hours at the other, the overlap can be eradicated but 37.5 * 2 is highly risky. See an example of what can happen below: https://cfa.nhs.uk/about-nhscfa/latest-news/NHS-finance-chief-sentenced-for-triple-job-fraud https://www.tiaa.co.uk/blog/remote-employees-working-two-jobs/ https://www.miaa.nhs.uk/how-to-mitigate-working-from-home-fraud-risks/ You didn't specify if you have to work at exactly the same times or different times eg. morning vs night work times so my assumption is that they are both Monday to Friday, 9-5 jobs. Also, see WTD link below to know if it applies to you. This is to prevent staff burn out and create a health work-life balance. https://www.gov.uk/maximum-weekly-working-hours For WTD, when you opt-out, some employers who this applies to will not allow you work over 60 hours as the system is set to automatically reject unhealthy work patterns. kwakudtraveller: |
How many hours do you have to work at each? Are you to simultaneously work 9-5 Mondays to Fridays at both jobs or any other time periods that overlap? If yes, that spells big trouble when caught as it is fraud. The type of contract doesn't matter, it is the hours of work that come into play. If your work hours don't overlap, then it shouldn't be a problem as long as it doesn't go against the conditions of your visa eg. skilled worker visa. kwakudtraveller: |
Yes. As long as an application is submitted before your visa expires, it doesn't matter when your biometrics appointment is except for delays wich might mean being unable to change jobs and any other applicatble ish. ayrton03: |
For a dependant, this is usually not the case but they might just want to clarify that you're indeed a genuine dependant. Also this request might have been sent in error. Whatever the case is, ensure that you're available for the call and clearly answer whatever questions they have for you. Princsterry3562: |
1. Usually, you will need to take some courses that the last Sept batch did while you weren't enrolled with the next September batch. eg. If the Sept batch did HR and accounting modules before your course starts in January, you will study the course per their current timetable from January but will study your HR and accounting modules with the next Sept batch. 2. Usually, yes. MelaninGemstone: |

Once she gets her COS, you can either apply with her or apply after she's gotten her visa. More info here: https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/switch-to-this-visa Fourcade: |
Exactly what is in the email. they are in the process of making a decision and once a decision is made and/or your passport is with the VAC, you'll be contacted or will see the change on the online tracker. Thonia012022: |
Ensure that you can prove that funds aren't being recycled if need be. For this, it's better to have tuition receipts, rent receipts, outstanding tuition and maintenance balance for the MA to show that the funds are different. doyinluv: |

Is this on UKVI website? Where's the information originally from? Is 50% tuition payment before entering the UK one of the school's conditions? Did the affected person(s) meet the school's financial requirements ie. fee payment? Did the person(s) have evidence that he/she had the tuition balance even though full tuition hadn't been made? Did the person have evidence that payment had been initiated even if the school hadn't received it eg. Form A or direct bank transfer depending on the mode of payment? Was the affected person(s) able to show this evidence to the entry officer? I think the main issue, if required, is being able to prove/show that tuition has been paid or that the money for the tuition balance is still available and will be made upon arrival. Note: This is not to say that paying half or all of tuition before getting to the UK is a bad thing. This is a great option that leaves the student with time to study and not have to worry about clogs in the tuition payment process after arriving in the UK. Babamonsura: |
It's tricky for over 18s as the application for them is only for when they came into the UK as your dependant before they turned 18. If the application is made, the chances are 50/50 because, at 18, it is deemed that the child is now an adult who can live exclusively of his/her parents. What you can do is include evidence that shows that the child hasn't formed any independent life outside of the parents - special needs children who can't be taken care of anyone else except the parents - if it applies, still lives with them, is dependent on them financially, is still in school and not working etc. Note that evidence for all these must be provided but it isn't a guarantee that the visa will be given. Alternatively, you can speak to an immigration lawyer who has handled cases like this for advice. Linda2022: |
Buying a one-way ticket with a work/study visa is okay. You only need a 2-way ticket when you are on a visit visa or a visa that doesn't allow you to live/work/study in the UK. Dampops: |
What happens if your application is being decided earlier than 1 month after submission and you have nothing to send to the ECO when an NSF mail is sent to request your IELTS results? What if you never get NSF mail and the application is rejected because you didn't submit one of the key documents required? What if you don't pass it on the 1st try? Please have your IELTS before youy submit your application. OJInsight: |
