Kindly recommend if you do. Thank you. |

You being able to meet up will be dependent on how fast the application is processed seeing as priority and super priority has been suspended till further notice. Sweetkid: Yea, when I say mature, my bank statement will be 28days during the first week of September. Middlesex University said they will issue CAS by the end of July, still yet to receive it. Yes it works but you need to have court documents assigning him as your legal guardian before you turned 18. Your uncle depositing the funds in your account is your best bet. You don't need extensive explanation for the funds in your account as normally stating that your parents/family gave you the money for your UK study usually suffices for situations like yours.. R0LL0N: My uncle still want to take the legal guidance route. I have pleaded with him to drop the remaining maintenance fees to my account. He said how will I explained to them I got such amount of money when am not working in central bank.... But keep saying if embassy sees that I have paid half of tuition fees and half of accomodation fees. I should be good to go getting a visa. Please does legal guardian route still work in Nigeria for student visa. M really confused. |

TB test certificates are valid for 6 months from date of issue. Don't pay for any accommodation till you get to the UK except it's to your school. Better to see what you're paying for before you pay to avoid being scammed. qonfupanda: Hello my E-Family,

I haven't used it or had anyone use it but you should be able to use it because it's a US-based financial institution which operates like a regular bank with regular savings and checking accounts and it's regulated by National Credit Union Administration, one of the financial regulators in the US in addition to being backed by the US government. No. Pension funds can't be used and RSA accounts fall under the pension funds. nobleudeme: Hello House, how true is this gist:
"You can use your RSA Account to support your statement of account for your visa application."

My bad! I misread your initial comment. It's £348 for visa fee + £300 (IHS for each full year for which leave will be granted) + £150 (IHS for the 4-6 months extra usually granted for 1 year study visas) = £798 You can also use the IHS checker to confirm how much you'll need to pay. https://www.immigration-health-surcharge.service.gov.uk/checker/typers172: I have a relative in uk, that'll pay for me using a uk atm card, that why I'm asking for the amount of visa and nhs fees in pounds or dollar |

Just count 28 days backwards from the date you submit your online application and print the statement covering those days. The oldest date the bank statement can cover is the 31 days preceding the date of your online application. Gloriouscrown: My complete school fees and maintenance fees have been in my dom account for about 4 months now (untouched). Can I just print out my bank statement when I want to apply or do I have to start counting for 28 days? Please I need clarification on this.

When you say mature, do you mean your 28-day count? Or do you mean that's when your statement will be ready for the 28-day count? Do you have your CAS already or will you just be getting it in Sept? A bit more details will make it easier to give you the appropriate answer. You can post subsequent questions in the student visa thread below; https://www.nairaland.com/5816163/uk-student-visa-tier-4/176Sweetkid: Hello house. My bank statement will mature first week of September, can I still make it to UK at least 20th of October for studies after visa interview? |

Ologtheo: Good evening. Please can a fixed deposit bank certificate be submitted instead of account bank statement at the school and embassy. Thanks for your responses. See quoted response below mimilyrics: I would suggest that you liquidate the fixed deposit and put it in a regular current or savings account.
Prior to 2016 when the guidance changed, certificates of deposit were acceptable in the prescribed manner (must not be frozen or inaccessible) as long as they were issued within 31 days of your application and covering the 28 days preceeding your online application.
Now the guidance does not explicitly mention fixed deposits and the areas of the guidance that imply it can be interpreted either way by the ECO. |

Do you have any experience in healthcare? Most of the healthcare management jobs I've come across prefer people who already have some experience in healthcare/clinical settings. Someone in healthcare might be able to point you to those management jobs that don't require prior clinical experience though. It depends on the school. Deposit payment, offer conditions and tuition instalments differ from school to school. Most schools require 50% tuition payment before registration though. quille11: Hello guys,
Is it true that some schools accept 2k deposit before issuing CAS and after which they work out a flexible payment plan of up to 5 -6 months especially for masters programs of like 1 year? |

Yes, you're right, I also thought so too but situations in which the bank statement was requested again because it was older than 31 days of the biometrics appointment even though the statements were within 31 days of the application made me think otherwise. But in those situations, the funds covering the 28 days prior to the online submission were intact. dami24: Mimilyrics are you show about this? I think it’s 31days from when you submit your application not biometrics |
