It is a case of parenting. Many parents today are immature, childish and themselves also need training. Religious institutions ought to step in a correct this social milieu or else it will be the end of this generation. Even here in SA, most of us don't normally do such checkups before marriage, but I've never heard of any sickle cell cases or people dying from it, or a couple not being able to marry each other because of their genotypes.

Maybe there's a special vaccine given to us as babies to prevent it, I don't know.

History of early education is important, who writes a CV and submit for job application without inputing the primary and secondary schools attended alongside the years attended, only to list tertiary education achieved.......list at least 2 Nigerian reputable companies you know would offer such applicant, employment.
