FG Bonds, treasury bills etc are safe, yes but do you actually make money in real terms?
If interest rate is 13-14%, by the time you compare with inflation rate ( I don't have the latest figures from the bureau of statistics but I know it can't be less than 12%. ) I doubt if you make any money.

Did the thugs decide to kill the Inspector?...then why tie him up and bury him?...they had time to burn? I see no reason why the Chief and the two officers are not in custody. No doubt, the N2m refused by the family was accepted by someone else to disrupt any investigations.

Such stories from official quarters in Nigeria usually are known not to add up, though people have many a time been dump enough to accept them as truth.

The country is in a mess. Another sad part of it is: things dont seem to be getting any better.
