mumbasa: It's nearly impossible for you to harm the President after making such open threat.
I watched Boko Haram try at Borno State in late 2014, they could not even enter Maiduguri despite being heavy armed and throwing all they got on Nigerian army. The media didn't report it - four hours gun battle , over 12 militarily helicopters deployed. It was on that day I knew that the Army , DSS and civil defence had special forces trained particularly for such occasion. The NSCDC has swat unit i wan mad dat day.
Bottom line they cannot touch a hair on the body of the President. That is how it's meant to be. Sad defenseless citizens hardly get close to what is due them in this wise. |

agbangam: Sincerelly, I believe dis NDA guys are just some criminals/corrupt pple dat benefited somuch under GEJ. Since PMB has decided to clean up d oil sector and prevent those criminals/corrupt pple from stealing our crude oil, dey too (NDA criminals) have decided to fight back by blowing up oil installations. U will all agree wit me dat we now have a President dat is not here to loot. Their actions will only bring in d military to d SS which is not gud. We shud not support those criminals rather give PMB all d neccessary support to make our country a better place. Nigerian government which holds so high revenue from the oil from the Niger Delta far above the fair welfare of the Niger Deltans can be regarded as similarly criminal, if not worse. Nobody gives a hoot about the genuine issues of the Niger Delta. Steady flow of the oil money is all that matters. |
Agriculture › Re: Preserve Fresh Tomato Paste For A Year (no Refrigeration Or Preservatives) by mindtricks: 10:58pm On Jun 01, 2016 |
vanpeele: Hi everyone,
I'm happy to see how everyone's crying for the "common" tomato. Most people (wey get sense) will start preparing for next year by either farming, gardening, or preserving.
My first thread was on very cheap farming but here's another for preserving our darling tomato when it becomes cheap again.
With this method, one can store fresh tomato paste for over a year but guaranteed 1 year, that's if everything's done right.
What you need are 1. Tomato 2. Jam jar (it must be the sort you see in the pics....plastics won't work at all)
Step 1. Blend your tomato or take it where it's grinded in bulk (you don't have to squeeze the water out unless it's spoilt)
Step 2 Put the blended tomato in a pot (small or big depending on the amount blended). Boil the tomato till all it's water has evaporated and has become paste (try not to let it burn).
Step 3 Let it cool down. Scope some paste into a jam jar till it's filled up, then seal it properly with its cap.
Step 4 Put the sealed tomato paste in a pot of water till it's completely submerged. Allow the pot of water to reach boiling point, then leave to boil for 10-15 mins (don't worry...it won't break). Take them out of the pot and allow to cool. Put then in cartons and store in a cool dry place. No need for fridge. #Shikenan
PLEASE NOTE: 1. No matter the amount of jam jars you put in the pot of water, MAKE SURE THEY'RE COMPLETELY SUBMERGED BEFORE BOILING.
2. JAM JARS WHICH KNIVES WERE USED TO OPEN THEM WON'T WORK. Only normally opened jam jars would work because they're still air tight.
3.Once you open the jar, use the amount you need then refrigerate.
Feel free to ask questions. Nice one op. |

That being said, if the Niger Delta militants really want to stand on their own, they should go and make a pact with Russia for protection and oil will be given in return, Russia is the way! It seems that hurricane isn't over yet, I can now exclusively reveal that the Bank is set to sack 80 percent of their entire manager cadre. The managers who earn from 1.2 million and above plus entitlements and allowances that outweigh theirs salaries will have to wait and see who survives and who goes. It was revealed that the GM Uzoma Dozie son of Pascal Dozie is willing to promote some junior workers who can also be efficient in those positions. This was said to be in a bid to further cut the wage bill and save the bank. these are sad times for bankers, we pray for them.

Businessideas: Demand for the restructuring of Nigeria is a welcome idea and if we had invested time it right from June 12 struggle, we would have achieved it. People like the late Chima Ubani fought till their death for such patriotic aspirations and it will be good if we pursue that. What I don't see as credible is the reason why only pdp politicians like Tompolo and Kanu Nnamdi who were massively financially induced by the GEJ administration that are characters leading insurgency against the man who defeated their benefactor. It's plain mischief and will be defeated. Self determination should have started under GEJ not now. It will be too lame to think its just last election that threw up this protest. Dont be quick to forget that Buhari's style of handling the issue and choosing to go look for and arrest Kanu, aking him known to all, gave birth to these open protests. Be informed that these guys have long before Buhari's present regime, been pursuing their course but more underground than this open. In same vein Buhari's choice to go after Tompolo and seize the militants benefits gave birth to renewed militant attacks we are now seeing. Not the LAME EXCUSE OF ELECTION LOSS as peddled by many, which GEJ had the choice to fight on with all resources within his power. |

opribo: We are missing the point as usual, if you watched Buhari reading out that speech yesterday. You would have seen a man struggling very hard to maintain a stable composure. Indeed, that man deserves to be resting by this time the job at hand is very tasking for his age and we cannot afford to [lace the destiny of Nigerians in the hands of a man who will be battling with old age challenges and also setting cutting edge policies to move our economy forward.
Unfortunately, the VP who ought to be very active in the circumstance seems to still be learning his ropes. Under these situations the Nigerian economy will remain in the doldrums for a while. What we need at this time is a young time tested crack team of financial experts, which we are not lacking in Nigeria to drive this economy but because of these cabal in the military and in the North, they wont let this nation get to where it ought to be in the league of nations. They want us to remain beggarly like their brothers in Niger, Chad, Sudan etc.
We need to run faster and be where we ought to be. South Africa, India, Singapore are not better than us, what we need are strong, dynamic visionary, calculated risk takers, people who believe that we have all it takes, people hungry for success, people ready to grow with Nigeria and not people who have raped this nation and have nothing more to loose if anything goes wrong.
We need a real CHANGE from real change agents and not deadwoods. Are you dreaming? Many of us don't think anyone can perform better than this. |

metronaija: One Important Thing Missing In Buhari's Democracy Speech
President Mohammadu Buhari on Sunday, May 29 addressed Nigerians on his milestones in his one-year old administration.
Reading through the transcript of President Buhari's Democracy speech, he touched on Boko haram, IPOB, Niger Delta Militants , but there was no mention of Fulani herdsmen attacks.
In Global Terrorism Index, Boko Haram is ranked as the deadliest terrorism group in the world, follow by ISIS, AL-Shabab. Fulani herdsmen is rated fourth as one of the worst terrorist organisations in the world with its base in Nigeria.
That means Nigeria harbors two of the powerful terrorist organisations in the world. And the President is silent about it.
What could this mean for Nigeria?
http://www.metronaija.com/2016/05/one-important-thing-missing-in-buharis.html I trust the Presidency will have very good excuses why Buhari choose to keep mute about such a group that has been busy killing innocent people towards the south, especially a time like this we have the rare opportunity to hear directly from him. Maybe we can depend on Sahara reporters to know the President's mind. |
