There are 2 things that drive people to see films in cinemas, the mystery and the hype. Those 2 will get audiences to the cinema on opening day, but those 2 things won't keep people coming the following weeks. Cause by then the mystery is gone. But the hype can be sustained if there are some kind of scenes that create nostalgia on second viewing or that divides audience. If WB keep exposing the film at each interval, people will loose interest or the nostalgia. Forget it's Batman, there are Batman films that didn't make money. Aquaman didn't release countless footages, see how it did.
And I keep saying it, the Batman from what I am seeing, isn't bringing anything new to the lore. It isn't bringing anything we haven't seen before, the trailers are only reinforcing the point.

This is one of the reasons why BvS didn't cross a billion. We basically saw the whole film from the trailers and tv spots. No Way Home just had the nostalgia of Tobey and Garfield with the multiverse thing going for it, had Sony and marvel released footages spoiling some key scenes, no way home might not have gotten the wave it has now.
Sometimes the fun is in seeing the movie for the first time the footages that were hidden.

In terms of Epicness...The Batman takes the cake.

Movie grosses is Between The Batman and Multiverse of Madness.

BvS had Batman at the center of it with Superman, was also in JL. None of them made 900 mill. Don't be so certain.

Bros, there is almost nothing special about previous Batman and Spider-Man content, check how they usually make money.

For starters, the Garfield Spiderman didn't do as well as the Maguire films. The recent ones brought in elements never before done in Spiderman films. We can say the same for the Nolan Batman films. Plus, we weren't flushed with Spiderman contents at every turn. Now, you got to wonder, what's the Batman doing differently that we haven't seen?
It's just another Batman movie. Doesn't have the luxury of being a fresh take, in a shared universe or whatever. Of course it will make money, but don't expect it to gross a billion dollars. Just lower the expectation.
Whatever they are promising, we have already seen, Bros.

lol, I saw NWH, sure it was fantastic as a movie for spiderman fans of over a decade, aside that I don't see anything really special Abt it from other marvel movies. I enjoyed it no doubt the whole cinemal did, but I won't say it's my fav movie or it was a super movie, I still feel storywise it's not that fantastic. My fav spiderman movie us still spiderman 2.

But none the less, I really enjoyed it though. But if u can just pull out spiderman from other universe by just opening portal, why didn't doctor strange just send them back through the portal.

But to hear that the movie has made 500million already is crazy, guess it will be the only 1billion movie this year

I don't like discussing marvel movies here but to correct you, Strange opens portal only on his own universe. Tobey and Garfield were already on the MCU universe because of a botched spell by Strange that brought people who knew Peter was Spiderman into his universe.

Dude, please go and re read my comment again. There's a point you made which I corrected, 'that we shouldn't critic stuff cause it's successful or cause we are DC fans and hence shouldn't complain cause it's successful'. That's wrong. Cause I associate with something doesn't mean I should love it even though it doesn't appeal to me. I don't do blind fanboyism. I don't praise stuff that I don't like cause I identify with it.
SJW isn't my problem, it's the fact they are pushing it without a story that is the problem. How To get Away with Murder was filled with SJW but I loved the show to bits cause it had a story. They weren't just shipping characters or talking about issues without it being intricate to the plot.

I don't get the reason for the criticism of the CWverse. Common, this is the largest shared universe series franchise. It has the massive views, has the receptions and is making the studio money. It's annual cross overs are immensely successful.

What does that tell you? That there is an audience for it. CWverse was created or spunned to target the pro SJW audience and it's fvcking doing a good job which can be seen in it's success.

WB/DC saw the SJW system and figured out that they could milk it dry and that's how and why the CWverse was created or was spunned, and to be candid they're really milking the SJW system dry. That's why the CWverse is different from other DC franchise and contents. Other DC franchise and contents like the Titanverse, DCEU, watchmen etc do not possess the SJW theme like the CWverse. WB/DC knows what they're doing with the CWverse.

One may say, with time people will become fed up of the CWverse due to it's SJW crap but sweetheart if that's to be the case, The franchise would fallen a long time ago but the reverse is the case, the franchise keeps on going from glory to glory. Dear, the CWverse is here to stay and it has it's audience which are giving it it's success.

What I do say is, a DCian will support the CWverse, not because it's good but because it's a success. You support on success ground and not on quality ground, and the thing is you don't even have to see it, just give it the respect it deserves, shikina. That's what I do. I don't watch the CWverse (I'm still trying to get over Crisis on Infinite Earths) but I support it by respecting it, not because it's good but because it's a successful DC franchise. That's what Fans do.

There's one part of your comment I disagree with, I don't support stuff just cause it's successful in the money aspect. I don't get paid for that, do I? You say alot of stuffs that can't be backed up statistically or by even watching the matches. Alisson didn't cost us against Brighton infact he made a fingertip save to deny bissouma. None of the two goals we conceded that day was his fault.

He didn't cost us against Brentford and while he made a mistake for west ham's first goal, the other goals weren't his fault. Like someone earlier said, he has a healthy save percentage and very low errors leading to goals this season. Infact some of the clean sheets we have this season are solely on his saves.

Special GKs Don't concede five? Please what was the scoreline between Bayern Munich and borussia monchengladbach this season and who was in goal that day?

Bro, I know what I am saying. I can't make you see it but in those games, Allison should have positioned better. It's a GKs positioning that gives players the guts to try some shots. There are times Alisson rushes out too early or stays in the wrong position too late. Just keep watching him from now.

Bros, I watch our games with critical eyes, Alisson has been shaky for sometime, he is lucky to have Matip and Van Dijk, and he suffers a lot when those guys have an off day. Bautista played a lead in Army of the dead. He was good in it.
I don't subscribe to the idea that Dwayne Johnson plays himself in all his roles. He was different in Central Intelligence and Jumanji. The problem is, most of his roles are written with him in mind, or the scripts just have him playing same characters. Secondly, DJ doesn't challenge himself, he hasn't worked with top directors in Hollywood like David fincher, Nolan, Spielberg etc that will challenge him, most if not all his films are action films or comedy, there's little acting in those, unless there's an actual story which sadly there usually aren't. Look at Ryan Reynolds for example, he has always been the same in his roles when playing in action and comedy films. Dwayne Johnson has the talent to be a great actor but he doesn't play against type. Or perhaps, Hollywood doesn't think he can, it's left for him to prove them wrong.

If only we can keep this momentum and draw 1 then go on to win the last 6 games of the UCL next year.
