Brothers and Sisters, Rohr has no reason whatsoever to lose this game.
This is not a disgrace he brought unto himself but also the National team and We the fans & supporters of SE.
I don’t think with the kind of stars we parade right now, no footballing country on the continent can boast of such talent. We are gifted all round!!
This is a wake up call, not only to the coach but also to the players, no team is minows right now on the continent. Most of the CAR team we played against are players from the 4th tiers in Europe. Some are home based, they were determined to prove a point and yes! They did it.
Kudos to their coach who was shouting all through the 90mins till he lost his voice.
My brother leave this thing u are saying, if CAR jam Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt I swear then you will know they f**king minnows.....they are minnows whether u say it or not

Playing poor scorelines with minnows and giving them psychological morale booster the they can actually play and win Nigeria....just imagine Djibouti going back for return leg Algeria, the kind of fear they will be harboring...and imagine CAR mindset in d return leg

Hey! Hey! Don't forget we could easily have played a draw against Cape Verde if not for that own goal.

For me, I am still not pleased with their level of play especially considering the quality in that team. Not also ruling out the adverse effects of the quality of pitches in both games. They really need to build up their performance going into the final and round of qualifiers.
Whether own goal or not, rohr wouldn't have drawn that match... Rohr don't draw against Africa's small small boys in qualifiers away. Sierra Leone were psyched up after their 4-4 draw grin...any how any how mistake will make them Sha commit a penalty offence or even they will score themselves...so baba them try

In the space of how many years?

Which coach has\had more time? Tell me
2016 he came in played a dead rubber game against Tanzania and demonstrated masterclass
In 2017 he qualifed us to WC cup without stress, being the fact that he is jus getting to acquaint with his team, we met were beaten by World cup finalist with a decent scoreline and lost at die mins to a Messi inspired Argentine team.
In 2018 He led us through another Afcon qualifiers and qualified us without stress.
In 2019 his first Afcon he led us to bronze medal feat.
In 2020 No football activities.
In 2021 continued his brilliant and Masterclass qualification by putting us through to another Afcon without stress(so you all should sit down and watch him going past bronze medal stage)

NB: I don't Fancy hypertension qualification and winning Afcon then later failing qualify d following edition and more.
Kudos to big boss keshi and big boss amodu, but plss respect rohr he still on track....there is no justification for calling for his sack... he is still "footballically" getting right with us

Too early Sir.
I see likes of Egypt, Ghana and Morocco coming back to claim top spots in their groups.
Just catching cruise bro grin I said if it happens to be last games...now to the remaining games, bro u see that Libya 6points), there is no way they will allow Egypt over take them again na so them go play am till qualifiers end.
Then to Ghana group, don't underestimate an SA group lead ooo those guys can frustrate Giants and remain at the top the group, Ghana has jus shot themselves on d foot by allowing SA beat them, because SA coached by Hugo broos(Afcon winning coach 2017) will lock up at that top spot.
As for morrocco it's a 50-50 chance with them and Guinea ooo

My take
1. Rohr got his sub right this time
2. Musa though fading, but will surely be at Qatar to lead d guys (baring any last mins injury)
3. There is no time we won't qualify with a game to spare....rohr is a specialist at that
4. Winning an away game against a team that love to play draw and also tagged giant killers, shows we are certified Africa's big boys more espciallyng Missing 7regular starters in the super eagles.
5. There is likely to be a draw game against Liberia away or Cape Verde home
6. Lastly, guys we are Nigeria/Africans we are not Italy, Germany, Brazil...let's keep d constructive criticism coming rather destructive ones....even our golden generation with all them sweet sweet cruise back in those days,na round 16 b our last last bustop

If we beat Cape Verde with this depleted and lean squad.... then people should respect and stop judging Rohr based on inconsequential friendly matches.....
No Iwobi
No iheanahcho
No ndidi
No kalu
No balogun
No ekong(VC)
No etebo....... ahhhh meeehn forget if we win this game with that slim midfield then rohr is decent coach

Small thing they will be calling oliseh, siasia, amuneke...bla bla...aside westerhorf and keshi, no other coach has achieved more than rohr in super eagles in terms medal..
It took westerhorf 3Afcons to get it right with super eagles..the first Afcon he disgraced with a 5-1 thrashing from Algeria and still lost to same Algeria in the final.
Took Nigeria again to next edition and got beaten at d semifinals there leading us to 3rd place medal(if it was Nigerians of today, they will be screaming sack him sack him) but the NFA retained him, and went for his last Afcon and won it In 1994...that's simply building with your team..all these doesn't mean we were not having poor match days....but Nigeria of today one small draw or loss boom sack him sack him sack him and they will be clamoring for ekuke coaches simply bcoz they won age grade competitions....
I personally will tag Keshi(RIP) Afcon win as a huge fairy tale/fluke Afcon win...you can't succeed on a longterm basis with ekuke /otapiapia squad hence he couldn't qualify for the next edition(Kudos to him though for bringing us the 3Afcon)...
All those gist of:
Amunike qualify Tanzania after 100yrs
Keshi qualify Togo for the first time...bla bla bla are simply example of "anything can happen in football"...it does mean does coaches can replicate does feat for the next straight editions...
Rohr first tenure
Qualified 9ja to Afcon and got a bronze, still came back again in second trial and did same thing, whether you ppl like it or not this super eagles will brush aside opponents next year 2022 and get to d final

CODMOK:
Leave those guys. Your fears have rational basis my friend. A team without Ndidi conceded 4 goals on home soil against Sierra leone in less than 1 hour and guys are still here making mouth. All our midfielders will not be available but guys want Innocent Bonke and Kingsley Micheal to turn to beasts overnight. Anyways, I no blame una, na Rohr get the fault. At least we no longer carry calculator to qualify.

Where were all these boastings during the reign of Oliseh and Siasia?
grin grin grin
I'll repeat myself if a team comprising of
Osimhen
Simon
Kalu
Balogun
Awaziem
Onuachu
Onyekuru
Musa
Kevin
Sanusi
Aribo
Aina
Collins
Omeruo
Cannot Nick a 1-0 win at Cape Verde, then let forget about calling ourselves football powerhouse in Africa......there is no crime if any of those new players pull a "Ramon Azeez lesotho display" against Cape Verde that day.

Is it true that our Premier league players won't feature away to Cape Verde? I just saw it on goal. com. Omo, this makes Cape Verde favorite for that game!!
Can you imagine....is it the same Cape Verde I watched against C.A.R yesterday?....we will only have the exclusion of
Etebo
Iwobi
Iheanacho
Ndidi
Ekong.
If we cannot beat Cape Verde at home with at least 1-0 then then super eagles and rohr should just GETAT, we are simply not good then....what will Cape Verde play compare to what we saw Benin rep played in their home
