Ibos shamefully trying to steal themselves in through the back door after Yorubas birthed the vision, mobilized and built bridges of alliance to the north, middle belt and parts of the SS but only ibos were myopic and declined progress for their usual tribalistic and insular reasons. Anyway, the APC will do what is in its plan for and with these non-typical Ibos but the local ones still on their villages and doting the landscapes of the SW angling for something they worked against on the basis of quota system will be disappointed. Give Iboland what it deserves constitutionally but that is it because they worked hardest against today, against APC, against Buhari, against Tinubu, even Amaechi and must never benefit for what they didn't work for! They like the chop sand syndrome and I hope they are made to choke on it!!

But back to biafra issshh………… did u guys know these?

1. Ibos & Yorubas Were Tired Of The North Dominating Their Regions.

2. Ojukwu released Awolowo from jail.

3. As a result of number2. above, Awolowo wanted to pay his debt by joining forces with ojukwu to deal with the north.

4. Ojukwu was fully prepared at that time still waiting for Awolowo to mobilize his people.

5. Awolowo told Ojukwu that: this was not the time to do this because northern soldiers were all around their states

6. Ojukwu was bent on going to war as at that time; perhaps was the best time for him. He had an ostrich plan.

7. Ojukwu's move to seize lagos was because northerners dominated that area & we could say they own that place "as at that time". Awolowo knew this - see number5. above.

8. The yorubas had no option but to join federal forces. Who wouldn't? Re-read number5 above. I don't see it as an act of betrayal…… every sensible person would do that for "perceived gains." What about if they joined ojukwu knowing fully well that Gowon has support from egypt, france & backing of most institution since he constitutes the federal govt. Under those circumstances, a repeat of biafra war wouldn't be different from the history we already had.

9. The idea that the ibos fought a war with nigeria connotes a wrong one. It is misleading……… the ibos broke away but Gowon/Nigeria fought to bring them back to Nigeria. The idea that ojukwu should move to north to confront them is not logical…… if the ibos were staging a war, it wouldnt have lasted up to 3years. History tells us that the ibos were of more confined to their region eg calabar, anambra etc. If ojukwu wanted to seize lagos as this general pointed, it would have been easy ……… it was not his agenda. If it was, Colonel Joe Achuzie would have been in place… maybe he wanted to seize for war tactics......... not for his region...( Iont think so)

10. Agreed, the yorubas were tactical & gave biafra serious injuries & severe casualties but that was only because the spirit of the ibos were then weak. At the start of the war, the yorubas couldn't, they attacked from different sides and still couldn't ……… real trouble started when power supply was cut off…… biafra fell on total darkness. Let us also remind ourselves that the biafran soldiers had the willpower; federal troops had the firepower. In essence, the biafra war was won not by will power but by fire power.

I tried as much as I could to bring out some hidden facts about the biafra war. It's about time we stop these fights……… ibos & yorubas are one. Left for me, the both tribes did what everyother tribe would have done. The problem is not with the yorubas nor ibos but the hausa/fulani who has continued to play on everyones intelligence & still dominating the nigerian politics till date while sowing apple of discord amongst others. But in any case, we are one………… we should learn to tolerate others, God help buhari to rule us. OneNigeria, OneNation.

Just get this fact straight & stop running your slack mouth ……… No other tribe can try what the ibos did for only 5months. But they did it for almost 3years..... over 3million ibos were killed in the war yet today they are still even more populous than ever before & the present generation of ibos hardly practise polygamy…… God is with them; I'll be frank with you.

For the records, I'm not related to the ibos in anyways.......

On the matter of the hotly contested Delta State
Governorship beauty parade, many often ask
about the deputy to Okowa, the ruling party’s
candidate. The name of the deputy is Barrister
Kingsley BurutuOtuaro.

The commonest comment of Otuaro is that he is the cousin of Niger Delta Militant Tompolo, commander of Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) once declared “the most wanted man in Nigeria” in 2009 during the administration of late
President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua. I can reveal
that he is much more than that. In fact, I have
evidence to suggest that Otuaro is in fact a
Niger Delta Militant himself, responsible for the
kidnapping of foreign workers, destruction of Oil
facilities, running combat operations against the
Nigerian military and terrorising Itsekiri communities in Warri.

Otuaro, like Tompolo, is one of the few militants who have become extremely rich through the amnesty programme and from ransoms paid by foreign companies for the release of kidnapped employees.

Questions will be will be asked as to what Okowa
knew before making the choice of having Otuaro
as his deputy. Certainly Otuaro has dropped the
gun and put on a nice suit; with the hope that
they can re-write history. His personal website
http://www.kingsleyotuaro.com , describes him as ‘a
widely travelled business man, a seasoned
politician, a lawyer, a philanthropist and a
devoted Christian whose wealth of experience
spans across the private and the public sector of
the Nigerian Business economy. He served as
the honourable commissioner representing the
Ijaw ethnic nationality in the board of DESOPADEC’; no mention whatsoever of his more
nefarious background.

It does however mention that ‘prior to his appointment he was the chairman, Okerenko Federated Communities (2000 - 2006), Managing Director, Bruz-OtusNig Ltd, and oil servicing contractors governor on community affairs (2005 - 2007), Chairman, DeltaState Rehabilitation Committee of Internally Displaced Persons (2009)’.

I can categorically confirm that barrister Kingsley
BurutuOtuaro, deputy Governor candidate in the
2015 Delta State Elections is the same person as
KignsleyOtuaro, Secretary General of the terrorist
militant group Federated Niger Delta Ijaw
Communities (FNDIC); which operated alongside
MEND (Movement for the Emancipation of the
Niger Delta). FNDIC was established in 2003,
Otuaro became the president of the group in
2009 when he deposed Chief Bello Oboko
following the amnesty agreement with the
Nigerian Government. The group’s details are
logged as a terrorist group on the online
database of TRAC (Terrorism Research & Analysis
Consortium). United States’ Defence services also
reported on the activities of the group and these
were revealed on the wikileaks files.

In May 2009, Brigadier-General SarkinYaki Bello,
commander of the Joint Military Task Force, JTF,
in Niger Delta, had declared Government
Ekpemupolo the most wanted man in Nigeria.
Tompolo, Otuaro and others led militants in the
Gbaramutu creeks of the Niger Delta who were
responsible for executing 11 soldiers and
operating illegal refineries, bunkering,
vandalising oil pipelines, engaging in kidnapping
and piracy.

One of the most daring operations of FNDIC was
the taking of 9 expatriates as hostages in 2006,
this was detailed in http://nairaland.com. Bello, the
then President, started negotiations with
government representatives led by another
Gbaramatu leader, Chief Jonathan Ari. The Bello
team made a ten point demand that must be
met by the government before the hostages are
to be released. The demands of FNDIC which was
contained in a letter addressed to President
Olusegun Obasanjo and signed by Chief Bello
Oboko, President; MR. KINGSLEY OTUARO,
SECRETARY GENERAL, Chief Government
Ekpomupolo, director of mobilisation, Hon.
George Timinimi, spokesman and Comrade Dan
Ekpebide, chief adviser.

Such a man as Otuaro is not fit to hold such an
esteemed public office and neither is Okowa who
picked him. The change we want in Delta State
is a progressive one and not one were militants
in plane clothes occupy government house. It is
clear that Okowa made this choice to benefit
from the financing and the ‘muscle’ of the
Tompolo axis, but we must ask ourselves whether
these characters represent the future we
envision for our State.

They are cases of projectiles of say a footballer hitting a ball at angle theta & the ball landing on a roof ymetres from the ground at a distance xmetres from the footballer.

If you do not follow the approach I gave, you will probably bask in the euphoria that the answer you got was correct when it isn't.

Decamping does not stop some of these people from going to Jail. It is a pity children of today and those on nairaland never witnessed Buhari's days. They are not even safe in APC. I trust the only General that never tolerated corruption. He will sort them out after May 29. They all think decamping is the only solution to avoid being tried. Good for APC but it is a snare for the decampees at the same time.

I am from delta ……and I see many people defecting to apc in the coming years. It's not about jonathan it's because jonathan's kinsmen who are thugs are now godfathers of pdp overnight ……… how can tompolo be controlling the affairs of the state? How can a militant? Every sensible person will switch to apc just as I have done………… you are from delta, right? when are u switching?

What I clamor for as a full ijaw man is the control of the petroleum resource in the niger delta..i want the pib reviewed and signed all to benefit each and every niger deltan..i want to see a nigeria where niger deltans are not marginalized when it comes to jobs in the oil and gas industry...a nigeria where niger deltans are seen as priority during recruitment process into the industry and not shoved aside for the useless majority man know man syndrome ...I want to see a nigeria where laws on royalties as regards the oil resource is stream lined to favor niger deltans...

The Ijaw youth forum will surely discuss these pertinent points and see what move buhari and his cohorts would do to calm the nerves of the niger delta region...

I am an itsekiri …… i get ur point but not with violence. Let's all wait and see what buhari has to offer first.. he may have it in mind to pursue what you guys wanna fight for... impatience is worser than ignorance.... it's destructive

The ijaws are too aggressive maybe because a large portion are uneducated. I am an itsekiri & our land houses 40% of the nigerian resource but we don't act this way & we are still in south-south. We are one nigeria……… who cares if he is from the north? If he can deliver, then what is the problem? If I were to be buhari, on may29th I will warn dokubo & jerrypolo abi tomopolo that any pipeline that gets destroyed will lead to a serious trial, prosecution & jail.... of course. How can u fight against the nigerian state? I just hate violence…… i opposed bokoharam why can't I oppose my brothers from south-south?

i have been hearing of bus romance since but i just experienced it today... So funny what guys can do in a public transports.

I was at the park yesterday returning from my travel, i came close to the bus to inquire if it was already occupied and fortunately there was still some spaces left. I noticed this guy standing just outside the door, little did i know he had his own intentions. i left, got my ticket and came back and he was still there. i Entered and sat close the window and immediately the guy followed, he kept his bag beside me and told me he was going to seat there. OK no 'P' i told him thinking he was like all these guys who are very cautious of their sitting positions in vehicles during travels (front seats and extremes).

After some minutes our bus left, the bus was very noisy shaa people talking about elections and stuffz, i didnt want to join so i pulled out my phone and came online.
Next thing I noticed this guy seemed restless - changing positions constantly in an unconfortable manner,i thought he was an amateur pick pocket, I never knew it was this perfect opportunity he was seeking, how could it not be right ; with the way i was sitting, the noise in the bus and the constant gallops we fell in.
He was coming nearer untill his shoulder was touching my br**** ( i was sitting in such a way that my right arm was leaning along the back rest of our seatrow and was pressing my phone with the left one.

I pretended i didnt know whats up, gosh with every gallop we fell this guy would rub his shoulders against my br**** and he seemed to be enjoying the journey and maybe pretending he didnt know i'ws aware.
I was codedly monitoring the guy and minding my phone only to see the guy already had erection.
Gossshhh i couldnt laugh, it was so funny and embarassing. I had to bring down that arm and use it as sheild... the guy noticed and also felt embarassing. lols

Uptill now i dont know i wasnt angry, just felt funny!!!
Quite a long journey tho
