Nairaland GeneralRe: Sagamite Vs Cheddarking Debate! by MissyB3(f): 10:49pm On Jul 21, 2012
antitpiah: Well I understand you have tremendous sympathy for him, and perhaps you enjoy is clownish, often petulant, attitude as well, but there comes a times when people like you need to intervene before he ends up at Yaba. Yaba, from what I have been tell by people, wont be this nice to him.
The only person I sympathize with on this thread is you. You, for not recognizing that you're not being taken seriously by me, not by Sagamite either. grin It's advisable you quit now, this is boring already. grin grin
Nairaland GeneralRe: Sagamite Vs Cheddarking Debate! by MissyB3(f): 10:33pm On Jul 21, 2012
antitpiah: Well as far as NL is concerned, the mad man is not hypothetical, he is for real. It is just a matter of time before he pulls a Columbine.
Your opinion! And I'm sure you understand it's important to only you. grin
Nairaland GeneralRe: Sagamite Vs Cheddarking Debate! by MissyB3(f): 10:23pm On Jul 21, 2012
antitpiah: LOL

He is they class clown, what do you expects? Have you ever been to Yaba? The street peoples aka mad men attract the must crowd for a reason. The irony of Sagamite's popularity is that he thinks we are laughing with him when in fact we are laughing at him.
The crowd is just as stùpid as, if not more than, the hypothetical mad man.
Your time is given to only those important to you, otherwise, the action is - ignore.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Sagamite Vs Cheddarking Debate! by MissyB3(f): 10:06pm On Jul 21, 2012
Sagamite is obviously of immense importance to a large number of Nairalanders.
He invited just one person here, but see the long queue waiting to be noticed and given attention. Una nor well at all! grin grin

Enoquin: It's funny when a virgin claims not to know how to cook? (No offense intended)...what do you do with your time? I still find it hard to visualise the imagery when some girls say they don't know how to cook...I guess you don't have the interest...else you would have learnt

So, OP doesn't think it's necessary to state who Habiba Abubakar is, at least, for the benefit of those who haven't heard that name before or aren't Nigerians?
LiteratureRe: Nairaland's Literary & Debating Day - You Are Cordially Invited! by MissyB3(f): 10:37am On Jul 21, 2012
violent: I would encourage OP to lift the restriction on the use of words such as "idiotic", "moronic", "silly", “cretin”, “dimwit” etc. In my opinion, there are are often times when these words are not intended as an insult but a genuine reflection of the opinion presented.

It also appears that females are largely underrepresented on the list of the debaters. I wouldn't imagine that this is an intentional omission, except of course in the bizarre case where OP strongly believes that there isn't a single female on this forum that is capable of making a strong reasonable articulate argument.
It was earlier stated that it's a deliberate omission.

4. No harsh wording.
a. Words like "idiotic", "moronic", "silly", “cretin”, “dimwit” etc are not welcome here. You can debate without being inflammatory.
b. *NOTE: The words in quotations are an example only and not to be taken literally.
You put Sagamite on the list of debaters and prohibit the use of the abovementioned words? This is going to be more interesting than I thought. cheesy Sagamite darling, yes, you can! grin grin

Nairaland GeneralRe: Nairalanders With Similar Personality by MissyB3(f): 4:59pm On Jul 18, 2012
Jenny and Busybody do not have a similar personality . . . Not at all.

Busybody and Gestapo (?), Yes. I'm not sure they are different individuals though.

Topic:
Proof1(?) and Ryhmz = Perfect match . . . Judging from their posts, they are so alike.

Sadly, I don't have access to the kind of prawns you used (That thing can be really tasty with garri grin ).
In moi-moi and corn pudding, I add everything desired and I can't say it ruins the taste. Depends on what you like to see when you cut it open.
About using cellophane, it's easier to imagine foil paper as leaf than it is to imagine cellophane. tongue
FoodRe: Garden Egg Soup by MissyB3(mod): 9:00am On Jul 18, 2012
Wash and boil the garden eggs and fresh pepper until they are soft.

Remove from the heat and mash into a smooth puree.

Meanwhile, your fish, gizzard etc are being cooked.

When fish etc are ready, fry in hot oil. Remove 'em and add sliced onions and add the mashed garden egg.

Add ground crayfish, little salt, maggi cubes, curry* and other seasoning.

Stir and allow to cook for about 10 minutes in low heat. Make sure it is thick and tasty.

Remove from heat and serve with ripe boiled plantain or yam.

The corn version of moi-moi. . . .My mum likes it a lot.
I posted my recipe and finished product sometime ago, we follow the same procedure.
I can't get those leaves here, so I use foil paper. . . . I know I'm missing a lot. sad

FoodRe: Why Are Older Women Less Hygiene In The Kitchen? by MissyB3(mod):
Older women in Nigeria, perhaps.

My great grandma is in her late 80s, she lives alone and does almost everything, including cooking, alone. Each time I go to visit, the entire house is ALWAYS in a perfect shape. After coffee, she always insists on washing the cups herself, and you see her do it immediately with total diligence, as though her remaining days on Earth depended on it. I'm not sure I can keep a house as neat as she does keep hers.
Let me not even talk of my grandma that also lives alone and is neat to a fault.

cowgurl: Am also not crazy about swallows as well but of recent I had a taste of Amala and it caught me real bad + I got to learn that it was made from plantain which makes it yummy for me to consume cos before now, it's colour used to be a Big turn off but not anymor. Pounded yam is first on my list, reason being, I heard from a nutritionist that eating yam gives more flesh to the arse grin
Blèèèh! Amala is yuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, I'd have to be paid to taste that thing again.https://l.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/31.gif grin

Okay, I'm not quite sure I understand the second half of the story, but I license that, if my father must have another woman, it must be outside the house my mum and I live in, irrespective of whether it was built by him, for him or with him.
