sorry to say this. The SE has more poverty per square kilometers than anywhere else in Nigeria, given its size which is not up to an LG in the North and the amount of persons living there. The odour of poverty is very high given its small area. Its like 10 poor wretched persons living in a room and 20 poor wretched persons living in an estate. When you go to the SE, the stench of poverty will hit you like a bullet. That is why things like ritualist, kidnapping, armed robbery, prostitution, and all other vice is highest there.
livinbygrace: If you think APC would be too docile,to allow opposition to take over,so that they can be used as a specimen by various security agencies ,you are sitting on a long thing .Anyhow it goes,Jagaban is winning the election.Know this know peace!!
this is what zombidiots fail to realise. No political party, I repeat, no party will want to rule for one term and hand over to a thief or a baby politician. Make we no deceive ourselves
mrvitalis: Is there any law stopping federal government from savings part of its share ?
FG savings come through surplus and CBN dilly dallying of excess crude account. As it is, we are running a deficit budget cause we have revenue issues. Your Obi has not told us how he plans to solve this issue. What he is saying is that he will increase minimum wage to 100k which will increase inflation and create a deficit budget. Also, you IPOB is busy destroying oil facilities in the East thereby reducing funds generated from crude oil sales
Prinota: Kodos to the Benin Minister of agriculture for his Achievement he wept cause he had a vision when coming to that office but the Buhari Government has no vision to see
We support the Atiku/Okowa Recovery Mandate come 2023
The way I see it, most people are ignorant. How do you save money when the constitution mandates that all moneys/revenue accruing to the FG is to be shared among the three tiers of government, the NASS and Judiciary are on statutory allocations, and IPOB, boko haram and Yoruba nation agitators will not allow the defence budget to come down. For a man that refused to pay minimum wage, allowed workers to go on strike for over a year and refused to conduct LG elections while he was governor then turn around to say he saved the money, that is stupidity
kettykin: 100k is even a very modest estimate, from old Gra in Maiduguri to mashmari to pompomari, customs, railway, post office, I can count more than a hundred thousand obidients, if you now include Askira uba down towards Gwoza , Obi might get more than 200,000 votes if the election is free and fair .
Shettima is an old war horse but Borno people are tired of being tired, they want a new lease of life.
And there are more than 400,000 igbos and Easterners in Borno , where do you think their votes will go to.
it is now all about igbos? You expect other tribes to vote Igbos but Igbos will only vote Igbos. Your tim foolery is too much

first of all, it is not logical to make this comparison. Lagos and Adiss Ababa are not the same. The cost of land in both areas are not the same. Land in lagos is more expensive, so compensation will be more. Also, the soil types are different, with that of Lagos being marshy due to a water terrain. Therefore the cost per km in Lagos will be more. The Lagos rail is being constructed by a state while that of Ethiopia is by a federal government. Payment for the project will cost more for that of Lagos as it will take a longer time to source the money. It's like trying to buy a car in 2015 and in 2022. Though the car is the same but it will cost differently with the 2015 being cheaper than the 2022. Two men bought land in 2010, both wanted to build the same house, one in a marshy land and the other on solid ground. One has the money to pay once while the other wanted to spread payment over a period of time. I ask will the price be the same?
123456789O: "Thank you Tinubu for the generosity", says a random Igbo boy getting fed for agreeing to wear Tinubu’s cap.
We can feel your pains. Trying to twist logic on its head! You are not the one in the picture. You saw a random pictures and feeling pained by it, you wanted to twist it to look like the wearer was bribed or forced to wear it. Shame on you. Asiwaju BAT has come to stay in our lives as Nigerians and nothing you can do to change it.
freeborn02: One thing I've noticed about you tinubu urchhins is a disgusting level of ignorance. Many of you behave like hakf baked graduates. What a shame!
I guess it is Islam that turned many of you to complete fools. You place religion above common sense.
Go and read and stop commenting like a cursed ignoramus from the stone age where there is no access to news.
Go online and find out about who built anambra state teaching hospital.
Even one of your fellow national enemy, plaindealer, cannot deny that it was Peter Obi who built the hospital.
Stop disgracing your parents with your show of disgusting ignorance.
Peter Obi did not build any General Hospital. Stop lying. You guys think we are fools. A man that could not pay minimum wage, that owed salaries and pension, a thief that was transporting N250million monthly to Lagos. Peter Obi did nothing in Anambra state. Stop hyping him.
Obi should not forget that he was part of the system as a two term governor and an economic adviser to GEJ. He stole government money variously when he was caught chaperoning 250million through his aide, he lied under oath when he made a false asset declaration, he was moving funds into his foreign accounts while he was governor of Anambra, he advised GEJ on how to steal $2billion arms fund through Dasuki Sambo, these and so much more
Heroicvic: Please quote me As a nigerian, why would you choose tinubu or atiku over Peter obi
Coz I don't get it, are we mad in this country?
it is not that we are mad but that you are myopic and not seeing the big picture. Obi is a scam, we know him from years back and you cannot whitewash mild steel to become gold

Racoon: You mean this roasted vulture heroine-drug running addict and balabloo-blu-bulava rattling invalid humanity standing there with unstable waddling gait is the best you party can offer a country with a population of 200M souls?
"The Buhari that came to power roughly eight years ago was packaged as someone who had it in him to exercise the self-restraints necessary to administer a dysfunctional country like Nigeria. For a benighted nation, the thought of having a president with integrity and self-discipline was alluring. No thanks to Buhari and his legendary incompetence, we now know better.
Meanwhile, the same people who packaged his myth are back in the market. Now they are promising that 2023 will bring “renewed hope.” We have moved from the taglines of ‘integrity’ and ‘anti-corruption’ to “builder of city” and “builder of men.”
That is how they will tell you that another messiah is on the way until somewhere down the line when the scam will unravel, first, through the failures of such leader; and second, through the person’s garrulous admission that none of what they told you was ever true." Shebi shame didn't allow you showed up here. Enjoy the rave for now.
That is why we say no to a repackaged NAANU, a local champion sponsored by bigots, secessionist and fraudsters. We want a tested and trusted politician in the person of BAT
OKOATA: You be oponu and asiere, that's what you are. I'm not your social media manager that will be looking for Obis achievement online, you have your phone, check google yourself but obviously you as a BATstard is blind and can't see. Anyways your lord won't win so stop wahalaing yourself.
you are a fool, a stupid one at that. Stupid fool. No matter how much you try to white wash Obi, he will still remain stained. Obi did not spend one dime on that road you pictured. That was a FG road awarded by the Jonathan administration. Obi only went to abuja to influence and ensure that the road was done on time. Now I ask where are the 800km of road constructed, in the moon? Foolish Osu slave
OKOATA: Who be this ase, google isnt your own friend? Why dont you check yourself, omo ote.
first they come with lies, when you catch them at it, they resort to insult. We just dey look una dey fool una self. February is just around the corner. idiot
OKOATA: Obi during his 8years as a governor built about 30 bridges and fly overs, 800KLm road in anambra and left no debt, but your Tinubu left billions of debt and not one single fly over or even one bridge did he do. He didn't even construct 1Klm road and you are talking about track record. Anyways BAts see things upside down so it's not new to me.
30 bridges where? Which flyover? Where is the 800km of road? Or is it another Anambra? Liars. Obi left debts. Google is your friend, use it
Adamsxy: 2023: Join Us to End Your Sufferings, Okowa Tells Nigerians
Vice-Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has urged Nigerians to join hands with the party to rescue and rebuild the country from the sufferings created by the inept All Progressives Congress (APC)-led federal government.
Okowa said that only the PDP had the right experience to rebuild the nation’s economy and stop the pervasive insecurity across the country.
He said that the party’s Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar had the requisite experience and political will to turn things around for the country as he did as Vice-President to President Olusegun Obasanjo when the PDP was first elected in 1999.
#AtikuOrganizingForAction
stupid man. With all the money you got in Delta state, did you end suffering? Rubbish.
brightbright: • Say there’s no going back on Labour Party presidential candidate • ‘Negative views not representative of Anambra, Igbo people’ • Eze’s comments ‘unpleasant, bad omen’, says traditional ruler
Despite opposition from some prominent politicians, Igbo yesterday said there is no going back in their support for Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.
They insisted it is the turn of Igbo to produce the country’s next leader after President Muhammadu Buhari, stressing that Obi remains the choice of the southeast region.
A businessman and prominent Anambra indigene, Prince Arthur Eze, had, on Monday, distanced himself from the presidential ambition of Obi. Eze said he was not part of Obi’s aspiration because he had seen that the former Anambra State governor could not win votes in the southwest and in the north.
The businessman made the comments in the presence of the state governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, traditional rulers, women groups, and other prominent people of the state, during the Ofala festival of his Ukpo community, in Anambra.
He said he had already warned Obi to withdraw from the presidential race but the candidate refused to listen. Responding to Eze, a prominent politician, Afam Ogene, declared there is no going back on Igbo position.
He said: “It’s part of the politics of interest and selfishness all over the land. The hawks and grabbers of our commonwealth will never want to let go. Did Pharaoh leave the Israelites just like that, no. So shall it be unto the likes of Authur Eze!”
Also, National President, Njiko Igbo Forum, Rev. Okechukwu Obioha, described Obi’s aspiration as divine, saying the LP candidate would become the next president, irrespective of “conspiracy from certain politicians”.
“It is a great blessing in disguise that God Almighty is exposing those that have connived with the establishment to hold us spell bound corruptly,” Obioha said in response to Eze.
Listing former governors, Orji Kalu, Chimaroke Nnamani; ex-deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, Governor Charles Soludo, Uche Ekwunife, and others opposed to Obi, Obioha maintained: “The Igbo don’t care about their position.”
According to him, “Peter Obi and Nigerians are coming up with a total cleanup of the mess by these hawks and sadists who rejoice in the midst of abject poverty and squalor of the citizenry.
“There will not be new wine (Peter Obi’s presidency) in old wine skin (these monumental nuclear corrupt oligarchs) or else the wine will sour. Their days of going into captivity are numbered. Already, with ominous signs of victory for the ‘Obi-dients’ on February 25, 2023, they are diabetic and will soon move into political oblivion.”
Executive Director, Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO), Ibuchukwu Ezike, said Arthur Eze, like any other Igbo – nay Nigerian citizen, is not wrong at all in expressing himself.
“As a bonafide citizen of Nigeria, he has the right to a choice of a political party or candidate. However, I do not think that his preferred choice of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is any threat to the Labour Party’s presidential flagbearer, Mr. Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti Ahmed. Not at all!
“What is the percentage of Arthur Eze’s support to Obi, as compared to those of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Afenifere, Nigerian youths, the PDP’s G5, or Nigerians in Nigeria and in diaspora?
“Arthur Eze is just one man with one PVC or even none. In 2015, he vividly supported Mr. Tony Nwoye of the All Progressives Congress (APC) against Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and lost woefully, same in 2019.
“This is not a military dictatorship where one man takes a decision and employs means of coercion to enforce it. This is a democracy where the popular will of the people (voters) decides. It may interest you to see that Mr. Arthur Eze will lose the 2023 presidential election in his Ukpo community and even in his ward.
“Obi will confidently win Anambra State and Igbo land in 2023 and, thereafter, will take over from President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29, 2023 as the next Executive President of Nigeria.
“How can one man be a threat to the popular will of the mass of the people? That era has passed. Recall that President Obasanjo lost elections in the entire southwest in 1999 but still won the presidency of Nigeria. Is Mr. Arthur Eze’s clout and popularity superior to that of the Yoruba nation? I do not think so.
“When Soludo survives his second tenure bid, then, we shall begin to talk about his presidential ambition. Some of us know that those who have immorally, unconscionably and greedily held Nigeria backwards will rise up against the people’s revolution. But whether their ranting will confront the tide and win the revolution is the question. We are watching.”
Eze had pointed out that Soludo is the person that is in line to become Nigeria’s president of Igbo extraction in the future. According to him “I warned Peter Obi to withdraw from this race but he would not listen. I told him plainly that I am not part of his plans. I told him to drop his ambition and wait for next time.
“When he told me about his ambition, I asked him the states he thinks he could win in the west and in the north. He told me. But I was not convinced. I told him he could not win, so that he would not waste his time and money.”
Pointing at Soludo, Eze, said: “This is the person we are tipping to take over as Nigeria’s president of Igbo extraction in the time to come. We have a presidential candidate (Atiku) that we are supporting now. After his tenure, he will hand over to Soludo as president.”
A traditional ruler from one of the communities in Anambra Central Senatorial District, who did not want his name mentioned, described Eze’s anti-Obi comment as unpleasant and a bad omen for the image of Igbo people.
He said: “This is why people say that Igbo people are not united or that Igbo people hate themselves. When prominent Nigerians from various tribes and religions are supporting Peter Obi and Labour Party, why should this man talk this way in public about Obi?
“Anyway, he is entitled to his personal opinion. His opinion does not reflect the sensibilities of Dinukofia people. It is not the opinion of Anambra and Igbo people.”
The problem with your write up and many of your type is that you concentrate more on tinubu, you are not looking at the political strength of those behind him. In your mind you think if APC looses power, it would affect tinubu alone. No, it will affect everyone in APC. That is why you need to look at tinubu from the point of incumbency. The PDP lose in 2015 is an eye opener
