Of course I feel bad for him, don't get me wrong. I've always been a fan of Jarus based on how straightforward he is and I still remain his fan. My grouse is against the people somewhere that are trying to put his mind at a state of unrest. All I am saying is that he didn't do anything that is unethical.

Lol Beam's case is not something that can be easily swept under the carpet. He is an unrepentant trickster that operates for a lengthy time with no iota of remorse. He (as Artexexes) should have taken his L ever since he was discovered and everyone would have forgotten but no, he kept at it thereby constituting a nuisance in the thread regularly.

Waiting for closure has been hell (that's the most causal way I cam admit this).

I've been distracting with work and other things, but as the days go by and I face more and more disappointing days, and days riddled with the burning stench of burnt sauces, I lose every extra hope that I thought I had lost previously.

I Remember the day of my interview: Standing in line since 09:00 and walking through the various screening stages, meeting people and marvelling at the organizational skill at the towers, I had high hopes of Project Eagle �, but as the days went by and I hear from my low-key source and the high-key sources on Nairaland, I feel apathetic to the whole situation.

I remember the gentleman from whom I borrowed a pen when I discovered that mine had suddenly stopped working, who gave me his, selflessly and without casting an unwelcoming glance. I remember the gentleman from Niger State who sat next to me and was waiting in line to go into the interview room next and the conversations we had about our states, IT and the pressure waiting to leap onto our shoulders in the interview room.

I remember the NNPC staff member who led me into the interview room and his comment after I was done, that I did well and should keep praying for a favorable outcome.

I reminisce about these moments and my heart races, while my head tried to guess whether everything I had gone through was for naught or it would pay off.

The future is more unfathomable than it has ever been in the past, as regards this recruitment exercise, but alas, a light shines from the end of the tunnel.

Is it a bright light in the metaphorical sense, or is it a light shining from a train set to crash our dreams and awaken us more to the everyday Nigerian Nightmare?

What is happening here right now highlights the importance of earning trust. If you observe in the history of those that disclose when APL will be released. They always repost, fight and argue to be believed but in this case, it is people fighting for Jarus. Class.

if you are conversant with this thread, you will understand that the news about NNPC and Court case doesn't trend here. Almost everyone here clamours for the release of APL. So if someone comes here to fetch info, all you will get is APL release. My contact got his info direct from the source.

1. Would you accept this APL job if you have a phd and a secured post doc position that pays £3k pm?

2. Is it true that nnpc turns one into a glorified clerk?

Hmm 3k pounds per month for a postdoc in the UK, I assume. The question is will it be taxed and is your accommodation catered for? That is like 1.2m per month and like 14.4m per annum. For how long? If your aim is in academia it might not be a bad option but if your interest is to end up in the industry you might want to reconsider.

Asides from that many people going abroad don't only have money in mind, there are other things like the problems with remaining in Nigeria. Another thing is that you can go on Linkedin and check the profiles of some people that have towed this path and see how they faired. I have seen some PhD holders abroad ending up as consultants in top firms, we can guess that comes with lots of money.
