Many people are now insane in this place cos of APL. He posted an information he saw, rather than appreciating him you decided to be cursing. If this isn't madness I don't know what is anymore. I will also tell you free of charges that NNPC dare not make any move concerning this recruitment until the suit is resolved in the court of law. Their lawyers know the implication of that. Infact I will tell you that it's in your interest not to get this APL now cos if you get it against the court orders even if it takes the court 5 years all the people employed will still be layed off and a new recruitment will have to be done. Another thing you should also consider is that as bad as it may sound, the lawyer has a very strong case. 75% sure he may win the case as limitation of age runs contrary to the provisions of our constitution. You people must think that court of law is just for decoration. Reserve your curses well, don't use all yet you will be needing many more of it as sadly APL may not resolved soon. Cursing innocent people here doesn't change a thing. You are just sinking deeper into insanity. Free yourself, get busy.

So why don't you stay off this nairaland thread till February 14, 2020?

It's almost as if people want others to cook up stories just to make them feel good about this APL. This place has made me seen how

Assuming APL comes of today how are you certain you will even get it. The Dpr recruitment page after months of following up only about 2 or 3 people got d APL on nairaland at d end. The rest nobody knows where dpr sent it. Seriously, you guys need to care about your mental health, stop day dreaming about the vacations and the fat salaries you will be getting. If APL doesn't come at all which is 85% possible and also the 90% chance if it comes out not more than 2 or 3 will get it here, you will sink into a whole that will be difficult for u to come out. I feel bad the country make people get this way even after years of schooling. Also, it's because Nigerian youth do not want to get their hands dirty. There are so many opportunities in Nigeria that are untapped but the Nigerian wants clean fingers. Charcoal briquette production is easy to start and relatively a virgin in Nigeria. If yall continue like this many of you will lose it b4 the so called APL that's if there is any APL at all.

While we await the APL to drop in the coming days, I got an info from my friend within the court reporters circles that the matter brought by the rogue lawyer Pelumi Olajengbesi was finally heard today by Justice Okon Abang of Federal High Court Abuja nd the matter was adjourned to February 14 2020 for judgement.

The sauce gave some further info which I guess is not important to be shared here since the spirit is high and we are all expectant. I just hope it doesn't affect the much anticipated APL.

We don't know what will happen there today, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, but all we can do is pray nothing slows it down because if its for the info, it's very true.. I'm too busy to come here n d cook up lies and I'm very interested in this recruitment to begin fooling myself, I've got a good job, but NNPC would be better, it's not a do or die for me, but I need to know whether to make plans for a new life in 2020 or stick with what I have.. So I CANNOT JOKE WITH INFO... if there's anybody here wishing for it not to be true or that it should not manifest in the said dates, no problem,, if nothing happens on those days, I'll know what you gain by being negative, because for me, whether you come for my head or not, I'm expecting my November salary next week too, so nothing spoil for me.. I'm just trying to help. I thought about keeping it shut since it involved dates but my happiness no gree me. At the risk of sounding like a busy body though, I think these students are children of the rich. It is mentioned in the article that the cost per student is 5m, this makes the cost of attendance of the school about 1m per annum if not more.

I think it would have been better if the 500million is allocated to help people that can't really afford it.

Well it depends on lots of factors. They include but are not limited to
1)what you studied in school

2)the career plan you have for your self

3)the gp you graduated with(if you had a great 2-1 or first class for instance I will advise you to seek scholarship for masters abroad

4)the financial situation of your family. If your family or whoever is still supporting can do so for 6 months without complaining, I will advise you not to take up the job, you can choose to use this period to learn a digital skill or enrol in a training academy that will prepare you for better opportunities.

The bad thing about accepting any job that comes immediately after NYSC is that time passes quickly when you are out of school and you might just be in this job and it could consume so much of your time and might be hard to change. It could make u not have time to reach out for better opportunities again.

Also if this job has no career prospect for you, I will advise you to get some money print some flyers for home tutorials and distribute it actively, in your church and in your area, you can charge around 20k per student and it will probably be 3 days in a week at 2 hours per session. If you get 3 clients that is 60k already. By doing this you will have more time to yourself unlike being in that job and you can plan for more business ideas or more career path.

Don't fall for the deceit that you are still young, time passes quickly and motivation wanes with years. Don't let your drive wane. Make good use of it. Above all I wish you success.

If ever this recruitment is canceled(I sincerely hope it won't be), by the time a new nnpc recruitment exercise will commence, It is my prayer that we will all be bigger than whatever nnpc has to offer us and we won't bother applying.

I can understand that girls go gaga when male musicians perform, but it eludes me how some guys also go gaga and join in the struggle to touch these musicians.
