God committed multiple genocides killing the amalekites and the hittites etc, murder of women and children and an unjust killing of a baby among others - I stand to live a pure life if I dont follow the monster xtian/muslim god.

Therefore, the best thing is to reject the idea of the existence of any god in order to achieve full humanity.

skyfall: Is that why you practice religion? You know it doesn't make sense, but because that's what everyone does, you follow suit? That's pretty laughable. If I find the god who's logical, reasonable and not wicked like the orthodox god we've always been told about, I'll follow it.

And no, I don't have to be immoral just cos I don't believe in this god. I have a conscience and I follow it. I choose to do right because I know it's the right thing to do, and don't do evil because it's wrong, not because that's what an imaginary being wants me to do or not, or because it's watching me.

You see, most religious folks are hypocrites. They follow religious edicts in the open but then do whatever they like when they're alone. No, we can do better than that. It's actually an insult for you religious folks to imply that a human being can't be moral without being religious. That can't be more untrue, when you consider that most of the worst acts of hatred perpetrated in the world have been as a result of religious convictions. An average "deeply religious" individual has a lot of hate and condemnation for anyone who doesn't share his religious beliefs.

Skyfall the atheist,i do not practice religion.I have Christ in me so i behave like Christ who was sent to die for me. I can not do good on my own cos no man can ever be good ! I reason but in line with my creator ! God created us to be perfect like HIM until we fell as a result of the deception of the devil. But God sent forth HIS son to come help us up. We worship and follow a spiritual being so it does not mean wether u are good in the open or in the secrete.God is Omnipresence ! I want to believe you know what dream is !
There are 3 sources of dreams.
1.Self
2.devil
3.God
You can give ur self a dream at night especially from the multitudes of the days activities.
The devil can also give you a dream anytime of the day. The devil's dream to you MUST contradict the word of God. If you are not conversant with the word,it will be difficult for you to tell if the dream is from the devil !
God speaks to HIS own in the dream and also warns HIS children of an impending danger.There are revelations in dreams. An issue can be solved in the dream as given to man by God.
