Completely tasteless! The cultured rich do not display wealth in such a crass manner It's not a bad idea for gra-gra nouveau riche to pay an etiquette teacher to teach them some things If it was a rap video, we know this display is standard fare |

@ Post Regardless of the passport(s) I have, it's kept out of sight until needed for scrutiny. Passport(s) are presented, only as at when due on a need-to-see basis only. |

Very funny, really interesting ![]() |
@ Topic You should finish what you serve yourself/accept though might be harder to do in a Naija party setting or in a restaurant where they serve you a loaded plate and you can't say "please, reduce it." Other than those settings, it's mostly just another habit the uncultured demonstrate because they ignorantly think it's cool. Waste is not cool and manners like that are not welcome in my home. |
Use a good quality non stick pot. Mine does not burn, ever!and I stir regularly. This is the bottom of a fully cooked pot of jollof

I have a few jeans in that style. The style looks better on females, if you ask me |
For the most part, it''s poor/lack of proper upbringing. You either have it or you don't. Sadly, it can be hard to outrun your background/circumstances though some succeed. |
The breeze blew up Amber Rose's dress, not much of a malfunction with a derriere as delectable as hers. It showed her butt cheek, nothing you wouldn't see if she was wearing a bikini with a g string bottom |
@OP, I am praying you find the car and I admire your faith. Miracles happen!! |
To God be the glory Great things He hath done So loved He the world that He gave us His son Who yielded His life an atonement for sin And opened the . . . . that all may go in Praise the Lord Praise the Lord Let the earth hear His voice Praise the Lord Praise the Lord Let the people rejoice O come to the Father, through Jesus the son And give Him te glory, great things he hath done |
Congratulations, Sir |
My priorities are excellent fit, good quality and durability. The name of the designer really doesn't mean much but the better quality items tend to be more expensive and are invariably, made by established or upcoming-going-places designers. So, in the end, you get to identify quality with certain designers and if you are like me, stick with what you know and have your select brands that you patronize. I have clothes from 7 years ago because durability and ability to stay through trends are important. 90% of my purchases are made during sales so I make sure I hardly pay regular price. Works great - you get good discounts on high quality stuff |
tpia@:Exactly! |
Depends on taste, affordability and priority It's a good idea to buy the best you can afford and don't be a slave to trends that quickly trickle off Buy good quality, classic styles that will stand the test of fashion time and don't invest too much in poor quality stuff that does not last One good pair of good quality jeans is better than having several cheap pairs of jeans in multiple colors As for percentage? I really couldn't say. I can go months without buying anything and buy a lot within a couple of weeks however I make sure money for other priorities is still available and I do not recommend going into debt for the aquisition of clothing |
Some of us are not familiar with the actual voting process. Is there a thread with a poll or do you just state your choice? And in which thread (link)? I could not vote this morning because there was no clear direction. I have never voted before, not famliar with the way things work. OP, your attention to this would be welcome, thank you |
