Africans celebrate bullying, backward thinking people. Bullying someone on how they look is bad.
For the guy to achieve this high despite all the bullying he went through, I must admit hes an hardworking person. Congratulations to him

Sorry with all you're dealing with...I swear I sometimes feel I'm an American trapped in a Nigerian body...to God I hate this country and the people in it...the amount of scams mehn but me I'm a sharp individual I know a shady person when I see one...when I'm doing online business I even have to lie about my nationality...I'm too ashamed to admit I'm Nigerian...and now my gtb card won't work with PayPal anymore cos of some stupid policy they introduced :/ I'm just fucking tired of this country....and also the guy that cheated you is worse than scum
...I hate people that go back on their word after an agreement ...those giving 800/900 instead of the agreed 1000 I hope car hits them cos I'm very sure if the case was reversed they will curse your entire generation
Thanks my brother, it can be very painful, but please, take the curse away, may car not hit them. I don't want harm for them although I felt very hurt and cheated. I used to be ashamed of relating with foreigners that I am Nigerian z but since 5years back, I have grown wiser and I am introduce myself as a Nigerian without hesitation.

I learnt that once you love yourself, you won't be ashamed of anything caused by idiots you never set your eyes on. I introduce myself as a Nigerian, an African, and a Muslim lady even before anyone ask me. I have understood that I need to keep people that want to keep me, if they are not comfortable with me being a Nigerian, they can take a leave. There are several ways I get clients and I won't care if one choose to leave due to things I am not to be blamed for.

Yea,it hurts so much, I didn't commit the sins with them and thus I shouldn't feel guilty or get treated badly for what I know nothing about, if you get treated badly for things you know nothing about just because you share thesame skin colour and Nation with the offenders, don't feel guilty, because the person doing the collective blaming is the bad one,so you should be happy instead that you are the good one. We can't do nothing about our skin colour or where we were born, so don't feel ashamed

I hope that helps you and give you some confidence as a Nigerian

Exactly, this life is unpredictable, very dynamic, always changing. You just don't know what may or may not happen. Sometimes, the best way to enjoy this life is to "be as fluid and formless as water". And sure, the decision one takes today has consequences and repercussion, either good or bad.

Christianity EtcRe: The Ibibio Jews Of Nigeria - By Barry Floyd 1969 by ModestGal(f): 2:57pm On Sep 06, 2020
Bunch of low self esteem fools

Yoruba are from Mecca
Igbo from Isreal
Akwaibom from Jews
Hausa from Saudi Arabia

You all are fools, if not, you will know that humanity started from Africa and the reason why those countries you so wish to affiliate with are great is because they work for it, they made their country great. But, you all are cowards, only intrested in affiliating with what is good, you only want ''ready made''.

[b] Don't worry, a Congo of rice will still sell for #5000 before the year runs out. We will gather suffer together, if you like claim Jews from now till next year

PoliticsRe: Nairaland Defies All Logic As Its Trends On Twitter by ModestGal(f): 7:12am On Sep 06, 2020
Truth is that Nairaland was better, and for the early comers, Nairaland has helped them a lot. I have contributed positively on this forum and I want to continue contributing, because I'm not happy with the state of the youths in this country, if I had known what I know now 5years ago, would be richer than this today, so I want to teach people here on NL so they can fast track their success

But for the newcomers like myself, I came 2016, there was little opportunity, if I had been a member of nl since 2011, I know my business and I would be greater than this.

We and all sane, hardworking and honest Nigerians SAY NO TO FUEL PRICE INCREMENT.

For emphasis sake,

This is not the time to increase fuel price in our darling nation at all.

Not with all that is going on around the world, pandemic et al,
When people are finding it difficult to survive.

This is the same reason we voted out the party of thieves and criminals.

This is not the change we voted for.

The same way we sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians praised this government when they reduced fuel price sometimes ago, we should make sure we put our voice together to castigate and talk against this.

Sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians,
Let us come together to Say no to this fuel increase,
definitely not at this time and ignore enemies of the country that want the evil politicians they voted for to remain in power together.

This is not the change we voted for.
Something must be done about this NOW!
God bless Nigeria.

We will be at the Forefront of the protest this week.
Join us there sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians.

We Rise
Me too

BluntTheApostle:
I am not going to blame anyone because I don't know the whole story.

Maybe the parents had their reasons for rejecting the relationship; maybe it was even a good reason.

Sometimes, we become so much in love that we think our parents who are against the relationship are doing so for selfish interests.

Sometimes, we love just too much that we don't see the glaring problems with our relationships.

For example, some people are in abusive relationships without knowing it. Some women think that because a man has never raised his hand to them, then he is a good man. But what they don't realize is that there are subtle forms of abuse that would fool anyone who is deeply in love. Our parents can sometimes detect these problems and disagree with the relationship.

And for parents, you can always apply wisdom. I don't know how? But one would expect that someone who has raised a child to that marriageable age in life should have garnered a lot of wisdom about life.
I don't blame you, ain't you Nigerian? Lol, whether someone is in abusive relationship or not, if she choose to stay, its her choice and you should respect that. But I understand you are Nigerian z no one taught you how to respect other people's decision. Pathetic

Marry me please. cry You're very bright. I want that for my progeny.

People are too quick to label graduates lazy and compare them with the likes of Zuckerberg and co. People who already have their basic needs met. Something we can't say for the average Nigerian youth. Thank you for this sound perspective.
Don't mind them sir. Anyway, what do you think of next Saturday? Tomorrow. We can have a big wedding ?

Don't mind Nigerians. You will always see them making excuses for a failed economy...
"Go and enter business". Like that's how easy it is.
Shebi the capital go fall from heaven.
If na so business dey, then nobody suppose dey poor for naija, because majority of Nigerians are into the so called "business".
Don't mind the hypocrites. They forgot that many still lack basic needs, which is why they can't go to some length.

Isn't it money that would be used to learn a skill?
It took me more than a year that I wished to learn graphics designing, I have Patience, I have the brain, I can endure hardships, I can be humbled to my teacher, I am smart etc, but I didn't't have a laptop, nor did I have money for subscription, likewise money to pay for someone to teach me.
For years, it was just a wish for me to learn those things. Thank God for my sis that later bought laptop for me, which I now used to learn some years back. What of people who will never have anyone to buy laptops for them? I cried sometimes when I remember my wishing years, I would design several things on my head, it makes me really pity the youth.
I could do any job to get money to buy laptop, but no one to employ me then. This is the story of many youths and Nigerians, we are a very poor people, we can't afford basic needs and thus even our best of the best would have problems growing. You need to leave a stage to get to another, many people are stucked in a stage so they can't reach a higher stage

I can never blame any youth for laziness, the country is the problem. The youths and teens should have a place where they can work to save money first in order to start a business or learn a skill.
