Ifedayofemi: Thanks for your response,In regards to the consent letter, his father agreed to do it and said we can do it at those local governments, where the father's data page will be included and house address and everything just to show that he's in support and I have the sole custody of the child, will that be enough pls? Consent letter is good. But it not enough, even if u do it in aso rock with the tinubu as a witness. Along with ur divorce papers, You will still need to submit an official court document that states u have sole responsibility of the child. |

Blessedsteph: Ours is just a 9 days visit. We are still waiting sha so let’s hope the girls gets it. Did you add marriage certificate to your child’s own? I understand it can help with such. Did your husband write a consent letter approving for your son to be issued a visa to join you? I hope they give them too. That trip will be in their memory forever. Yes we added all that and still got an NSF mail requesting that father should Either 1) apply to relocate with us 2) give me sole custody or 3) we provide serious and compelling reasons why the ECO should grant the baby entry clearance. It sounds ment to me; why should a man be compelled to sign away his parental right?! Are they that used to deadbeat fathers? If u click on my moniker ul see where I attached the email I received from them |

Blessedsteph: Hi all…just to share something. My daughter’s birthday is in a month time and we already got visa to spend the entire period in Uk but now we decided to take 2 of her best friends on the trip. I applied for Uk visas for the 2 kids (both 8yrs old). I am the sponsor so submitted: my employment letter payslip account statement Booked flights and hotels for the trip. Visa data page (I and my kids all have 10yrs Uk visa) Pictures of my daughter with her best friends from when they were 3yrs old till now they’re 8 (sleepovers, Christmas family group pictures)
From their parents: authorization letter copies of parents passports kids birth certificates
Only mistake i made was not submitting the school documents of the girls (like fees payment or report sheet) as I always do for my own kids. I also realized we should have submitted their parents bank statements showing they’re also capable of funding the trip. I really hope this won’t affect their chances of getting visas. One of the kids had been denied Uk visa before but while filling the application, I surprisingly didn’t see the space where they ask if you have ever been denied visa before? (Has anyone noticed this?)
They both did biometrics on friday 7th July and e-mail came today that it’s has been received at the decision making office. We are all so anxious 😬 Will keep you all updated Wow!!! I didn’t even that’s possible. Why is ukvi now giving me a hard time to take my own one year old kid with me,(I got a work visa) just because the father isn’t interested in quitting his Well paid job to relocate. These people and their wahala is just ridiculous |

SouthSultan: MA is already there living in a room in a 3 bedroom shared apartment, and things have really been somehow. Dependants have to go before vignettes expire. Would there be law contravention of any kind? Me I’m a novice when it comes to UK things. I’m still in naija. But I know the UK legislation doesn’t allow it. Tell MA to find means to hustle money for a short stay pending y’all find appropriate accommodation. U sef Imagine 5 of u plus at least 6 big boxes inside one room. If I’m her roommate I won’t allow it and I’m a very nice person. I’m a mother, I know how kids can be, it’s just inconsiderate to subject the other roommates to that chaos |

Meaning they haven't even seen it U better don’t use ur impatience to do urself. If u needed fast track y could have paid for priority. If it’s standard you do not have any reason to disturb them until it has exceeded the processing time. |

Please respond urgently. Neither you nor your dependent(s) need to pay For IHS. You do not need POF if ur employer ticked Y in the finances section. If it’s N the. U need POF |

dee1504: There's some clarity now. If you insist on travelling with your child, then, I guess you can either go with the advice that advanceDNA had given you earlier OR you make arrangement for the care of your child in the UK (hiring a nanny/carer to look after them or having a friend/family member in the UK to help you out with that) and write a letter to UKVI to that effect.
My candid advice: Your child has no business going with you alone to the UK. You do not know what conditions await you, now you want to bring a child into the mix? Double trouble. Do not forget that you will also be working while trying to find your feet. Do you really want to bring your child into that uncertainty? Go first, bring your child (and husband) in, a few weeks/months later when you're fully settled.
MyOpinion Thank you. My situation is different though. My mum, sisters and nieces are there. Childcare , accommodation and transportation are things I thankfully don’t have to worry about |

advanceDNA: U are not catching the drift..... What ukvi wants from her is clearly stated in what she posted.......
First, the ECO mentioned 3 points A, B, C that can make the visa approved when the kid is traveling with only one parent
....ECO said point A & B is off the table because the father is not dead, and the mother has already mentioned they both have joint care of the child
They are asking her to provide evidence that will make the ECO approve the Visa based on point C Yes pls. This is Exactly the case. Nothing more |

vividumebi: Good evening all, Please I just received my GCMS note and really do not understand what it’s all about.please does anyone have an idea of what the write up is all about or have anyone received such recently if what is it all about You showed funds but the vo is concerned that it’s not urs or that it will not be available for your studies. Also I think you didn’t prove employment that justifies the money available. Solution: 1) pay as much of your tuition as you can afford before you reapply ( confirm refund policy from your school first) 2) write a detailed explanation of your Employability prospects upon return to naija. 3) I’m guessing u used a sponsor. Since the vo has doubts, have ur sponsor make a notarized affidavit |

Good morning house. Please for clarity: 1) do I need to fill IMM 5604 form for trv? The accompanying child is a one year old( mother and child alone is applying). 2) How many forms in total I’m I required to fill? Please I want to avoid mistakes 3) Also The child is not required to pay for biometrics right? 4) At what point I’m I to add visiting visa for the child? I read that to avoid delay I should pay for everything at once. 5) How much will I pay in total? |

Bobomaigida: Let her just go through with it, she can use her funds that will be available in August to pay off the loan. So it does not look like the person used the loan approval to deceive IRCC. Ok thanks a lot. We didn’t know she can pay immediately. An agent told her 10yrs and we did t want her to have that debt on her neck. |

Bobomaigida: By Ghosting , I hope you aren't referring to NOT paying the loan.
1.You can pay off the loan at any time so long as you pay accrued interest for that period. 2. You cannot borrow and not pay (when they have sent the funds to the school), it is crime and it affects your credit history which is what the society over there is built on. By ghosting I mean not collecting the at all. (Not informing them of visa approval) But applying for it for visa purpose. The back story is. The funds are available for her but not until August. She wishes to submit sooner. Can you give a break down is how it works? |

babineli: Hello House, Abeg I need una help oooo. Someone very experienced should reply to this concern please. This is for a friend but I guess we can learn from it. He said his elder sister who she’s married sent 5million naria to his account as POF for living expenses. The sister works in a bank and she only earns 80k monthly. She currently has 2 kids, him and his sister don’t bear the same surname anymore since she’s married to another man. So when she sent the money it was the surname of her husband that reflected in his account. He said he wants to claim he sold a property to Mrs Afonja olayemi but her sister’s surname was Adefola Olayemi so he wouldn’t declare Mrs Afonja Olayemi as his sister instead a client who bought the property from him and then transferred the lump sum to his account and that’s the reason behind the lump sum. Is this a good idea?. Consider that while filling imm form siblings info was included. I’m not saying it wouldn’t fly. But let’s just hope it becomes an oversight or the vo thinks it’s just a common name |

For those knowledgeable about mpower loan. Pls pardon my ignorance: I have one stupid question On behalf of my twin sister * if someone applies for mpower loan for visa purposes and after visa approval she doesn’t use the loan. (She just ghosts them) and she pays her school fees out of pocket. 1) is it doable? 2) is it allowed 3) are there any monetary consequences? |

ActivatedDreams: Coupled with the whole Delays experienced from IRCC, honestly 11 days is almost unbelievable so don’t take it to heart. It’s only right for the PPR owner to share his/her timeline so other people can get motivated. If he has gotten from this platform then he owes the platform at least his timeline. I agree with you and for your reasons it’s ok to ask for it. The issue is ATTITUDE. We should conduct ourselves here like respectful human beings this is not a zoo |
