Has anyone’s upfront medical been updated to pass and eventually got a refusal. I want to know if passed medical is a +ve indication for approval. Or it isn’t a determinant. Pls I really need to know. The suspense is killing. I have researched from almost all pages on this forum but I couldn’t find a case study. Haa. Pls I have been away from nairaland for a long while. I’m seeing that someone got just ppr this Jan and he/she applied since may2021; even with ielts result and 1 yr MBS. Pls my question is : have things changed? 1yr MBS and ielts result used to be grounds for fast processing of study visa.

It is still given at Poe. The reason they want enrollment letter is just to make sure the passenger is an essential traveler. I.e You can only travel when you have resumed or about to resume. They don’t want ppl traveling 2/3 months before resumption

No, you don’t fam. Not since post-covid; many people have even resumed and done tests and exam before getting sp. Even Humber college, things have obviously changed

Same here. Medical passed since June 14 after receiving medical request. Apparently, there is no timeline.

From people’s past experience... it takes about a month

By the way the medical stuff you see on your notes is the acknowledgment that you signed for medical exam when you submitted ..it has nothing to do with medical request.

I’m waiting for another gcms note on July 8 and I really pray there is something on eligibility because these people are just being ridiculous!

Sign is very very positive congratulations in advance. They have requested you to do your medicals, even though you are yet to get the email. Quickly register for it and get it done ASAP to reduce your waiting time.

Please ooo I have some questions. I came on this platform after my agent had submitted my application. After reading about other people’s PPR post and documents submitted I discovered some things. In my SOP I stated that I’m doing unpaid internship with a valuation and Estate management company. Meanwhile, the agent asked for my pay slip and my personal account statement but I told him that where I’m working the dnt pay me and a letter was giving to me by the company stated that I’m doing unpaid internship with them and after completion of my
course I will return back to them to land a full employment in there company that they will pay all expenses and the company bank statement was giving to me and I did not submit my personal account statement as money inside it is not up to 400k. Please is there anything wrong with this?? I did Affidavit for Sponsorship..

If he hasn’t submitted I think thing you should change your strategy. It’s not very plausible that they foot your entire expense when they are not even paying you (esp. in the economy of today)

You haven’t applied for visa yet. The agent lied to you. There is Absolutely no way you applied for this long and you are yet to do biometrics. At this point it’s safe to even question the admission. If you have your loa I suggest you start contact the school yourself to verify your admission. After that is satisfied apply for the visa yourself. Everything you need to apply is on this platform

Everything @ekulu77 wrote is very accurate. Age is on your side, no vo will look at you as a risk as long as there is enough proof that your parents have enough finances to take care of your studies.
In addition think of the highest attainable position your prospective International degree can get you in naija. State that It is one of the plans you have for when you return to your home country. Talk about your position in your family and how important it is for you to return. Sing praises about the things you will be abale to achieve when you return. Don’t forget that your parents finances has to be air-tight (considering that they have other financial responsibilities apart from your schooling). It will end in praise

It could be either as long as he includes your personal details like student ID, because parents use it to pay the fees of their ward. But personally if it were me I’d use my own name. Just to make it easier for the financial dept and for me Incase I qualify for bursary

This will fly only if you are serving a protocol breaking God. Or you have a baba that his juju is Very strong. But if you want to be realistic, find another means of sponsorship. As for the time frame it’s between 3-7 months based on recent statistics from people here.

If you stay in Lagos just go there. Act like u have an appointment for that day but u weren’t able to pay. Let them knOw you are ready to pay. The worse that can happen is that they say no. My cousin did that for iom and it worked
