Thanks Danke. Wonde what one would really be thinking during this period, maybe I'm different but withing a day or most a week, i should be able to know what i want.

When couples fight, quarrel or separate n decide some time apart or break up, how long or what is the most reasonable time period to think about things while apart? For example a partner decides to stay apart. How long is necessary for him or her to think things through? Could it necessary take a year, months or what? I mean a reasonable time period.

U really are a matured person cos this is real talk based on reality n not just assuming what is right. Thanks. I guess my next step is to ignore n forget bout asking him for a drink or so to talk which my instincts r telling to do but i'll turn them down, ill just ignore him n try 2 move on. Love

yeah i havent gotten closure but closure or not closure, i think i give up n leave it to God n time. It hurts though.

Thanks y'all, but Danke yeah that was harsh. I am a matured babe not a kid but sometimes one has to put aside pride n do what he/she thinks is right. It's different if we spoke n the reason behind this is different not make me suffer, then i overreact n u tell me thru the fone. N yes he didnt tell me he didnt want me thats y i need closure but i guess the bottom line from everyone is to LET HIM GO n I would do just that. I believe time n karma would hunt him down cos i really didnt deserve such. N for those asking him wanting him back, yeah i do but that's within me, the main things i want to do is to TALK to him.

I can understand where u r coming from. There are just some things I've kept in mind for so long n no not to take me back but also make him feel guilty for all he put me through cos im feeling he wud be thinking he did me no wrong since i was the one that overreacted the last time b4 this. U know how it feels keeping things in ur heart. I want to say my mind n walk out not begging him but if this isnt right i guess ill just leave it to time.

No Im not jazzed, im quite sane. Not everyone behaves matured. I love him, i won't lie but considering all i went n have been thru in this relationship n some1 tells u this on the fone when u still have a lot to say before u finally take a bow but cant n it's still on ur mind. What wud u do? So is asking to see n tlk in person stupid love? Maybe u havent been there, cos if u have, u wudnt be talking like this n i dont need self pity, im only asking for help n all.

I love ur answer cos it has a lot of sense in it and real. I guess my main problem aside me loving him is that I want to talk in person with him to analyse everything, then maybe it would be much easier. He told me on the phone n I dont have to be like him, two wrongs dont make a right thats why im doing the calling to ask him if we cud talk. But him ignoring my calls n such makes me not know what to do.
What is ur advice? call him or wat?

My dear I'm in the same shoes now but i think the best we both can do is to try and let go and open our hearts to love again and with the grace of God.

You are right. I'm still praying to really forget him but then i remember things we've been through n though i still go on dates, have a lot of guys at my feet, damn! love is crazy. I just thought bout letting him know what we've been through together, then finally give up or just ignore and wait for maybe 2 weeks n see the next step. Well God knows best. I miss him, Iwon't lie n i still have billions of company or guys asking me out n showing me love so i aint lonely. I just miss him.

Do we really believe in rules made on how to get an ex back and so on or just go with the natural flow. For example, the rule might say ignore the opposite and some other games but don't we think it might be natural to follow your instincts and maybe call and that might change everything and bring you back together. Or is it really necessary to follow the rules?

Read my post again b4 u conclude. I didnt chase him on the street and it was at night time. I only chased him to bring him back to the house cos i was scared and didnt want him to drive and leave that way angry. So i followed him to come in and rest then we settle, then he could go home. That was be putting out my pride which he shattered.

Thanks a lot, I would use these to help myself through cos I know It's not easy especially on my own but I believe. Sometimes I just wish Karma wud catch not in a terrible way but the same way he treated me n maybe that wud open his eyes but i'll leave that to time. It's really hard though.

I guess u dont really understand my post. I didnt walk him out. If u know what he has done to me but because of love n patience, ive tolerated a lot. I yelled which was natural n told him to go since he wanted to go, then when he wanted to leave, i stopped him n told him to please come back n tried to work things out which he neva did after all he had done to me. C'mon.

I believe it's just really hard taking each day sometimes and the more I go out, I still think about him.

we have already broken up and yes the next question is how to move on. And what to do with my shattered pride. Infact already I've met a lot of guys but i dont know what to feel towards them especially one of them being a guy i used to have crush on, finally asked me out but in him, i still see my ex or maybe because it's still fresh.

But do you think he would come back?? And what can i do to my shattered pride?

U r definitely not harsh, ehat u said is the truth, my pride had been shattered. It's true it's not by force to love but when u've been there, it's hard to come out of it.

I do that, but sometimes the people I go out with just remind me more of him but I would move on by God's grace though the easy way out would have been if i wasnt existing anymore.

My boyfriend and I been going out for a year now and we had our problems just like in every relationship. There was a time he distanced himself from me only to find out he had cheated and i forgave him but couldn't still understand why. So while he was trying to make up, i still let my mind take over. I went to his phone after giving hima sweet massage and he fell asleep and saw text messages from other girls, about how he was to take them out, and a picture of a girl's privates if u know what i mean and also a picture of a girl whereas where is my own pic?

So i confronted him and he begged and begged that he was sorry, that they dont mean anything to him and so on, i yelled, then he begged, that we would see the next day. Next day came, we made up a bit though i wasnt able to say my mind and ask to kinow the reason if he claimed he loved me and was ready to die for me. He kept telling me it's ok, then it was time for him to go and that was where i Took over. I started yelling again and cursed him to get the f*** out from my house, that he's lying to me, and still wouldnt spend that much time with me. He tried begging me, i pushed him and yelloed, then he decided to leave, I now ran out to beg him to come in, that i overreacted but it was already too late.


We were like two mad people on the streets, he was running and i chased after him to beg him to come back inside and so on, finally he came in and i apologised. Then when he left, i called him and it was then he told me the love he had for me has faded, that we could be friends but nothing sexual, that i disrespected him, maybe he would reconsider with time. Please what do i do, it's been a week and i haven't heard from him. Please help me, i love this guy so much, my first love and only one I've laid with, we even planned on marrying. I am like a zombie. I want things to work out. I'm at a point i dont think i can go on. Do u think he would come back or should i keep begging or what please?
