PoliticsRe: 2011: Zoning Must Be Respected, Says Atiku by monkeyleg: 1:51pm On May 08, 2010
Nobody should pay any attention to that deadender. Lets not forget that it is the illiterate and thieving politicians who believe zoning is the way out, and as a country we now have a genuine opportunity to get things right.

c'mon, do we really need a system, that prevents the people from choosing able candidates just because they come from a certain region of the country? are we saying we cannot pick suitably qualified people from all parts of the country and we have to rely on some stupid pointless system , which I may add held Nigeria Captive for 6months. Is it not about time the Nigerian people as a whole start doing things the right way? Who the Hell if ATIKU to suggest to nigerians how we should pick our next leader?
PoliticsRe: Efcc Changes Gear On El-rufai by monkeyleg: 6:17pm On May 04, 2010
I am hoping this will spur Ibori on to come out of hiding and clear his name, after all some have suggested that not only did Ibori not steal, even put his fathers money into Delta state.

Ibori, please come out and clear your name.
PoliticsRe: Efcc Changes Gear On El-rufai by monkeyleg: 6:09pm On May 04, 2010
@Mike,

You talk am well. I am glad things are finally coming out. Nasir has never struck me as someone who would steal that sort of money, it just didnt not make sense. And he declared to all that he was returning home to clear his name, it was evident that the innocent need not fear.
PoliticsRe: Uk Election :Nigerian Illegal Immigrant Found Helping Former Minster Campaign by monkeyleg: 9:33pm On May 01, 2010
You guys should be measured in your response.

The Sun newspaper backs the Conservatives, and are likely to dig up any dirt against Labour. This poor Nigerian girl is just being used in a stupid political fight. So please see things in the right context.
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: El-Rufai Returns To Nigeria by monkeyleg: 9:24pm On May 01, 2010
@Chidichris,

You have started this nonsense again. I have challanged you to show proof that El-Rufai and Ribadu did wrong, yet you havent. You rather Defend a known crook (Ibori), I even asked you to declare if Ibori is innocent or not but yet again you cant.

And by the way, if you are not aware, El-Rufai has decided to come back home to clear his name, Unlike some thieving Bastard that wrecked a whole state and legged it. Dont worry we are all watching, and I know some day truth will surely prevail.
PoliticsRe: Ibori's Chase: Militants Chases Efcc Out Of Oghara - Breaking News by monkeyleg: 9:24am On Apr 28, 2010
@Chidichris,

Stop running around talking nonsense. I asked you in a previous post to state Ribadu and El-Rufai's crimes, but you havent. I Also asked you a basic question about if you thought and had proof that Ibori was innocent.

I am now fully convinced that you are either being paid by him to come on here and talk nonsense. IBORI is DAMN THIEF, and he will get what is coming to HIM
PoliticsRe: JTF, police storm Delta creeks - DOOM FOR IBORI by monkeyleg: 2:41pm On Apr 27, 2010
@Me Sef,

Well said.

Chidichis wants us to do nothing because Ibori is not the only Thief. Go to your state and be as selfish as i choose to be in mine and we will clean up our country.

The Bastard is a Thief, and must be caught, and purnished.
PoliticsRe: Interpol To Be Used To Track Ibori! by monkeyleg: 10:54am On Apr 27, 2010
@Chidichris,

Please educate me, what did Ribadu and El-Rufai do, I may be only one in Nigeria who doesnt know.
PoliticsRe: Ibori's Supporters In Warri Rioting by monkeyleg: 10:25am On Apr 27, 2010
Please you people should tell some people who feel this is an unecessary witchhunt
PoliticsRe: Ibori's Supporters In Warri Rioting by monkeyleg: 10:23am On Apr 27, 2010
My Brother these are just dead-enders paid to continue supporting evil. Ibori will get what is coming to him.

Why as a people we have all collectively agreed cto sell our souls to the devil for bag or garry and dry fish, I can never understand. What is it that Ibori did for anyone in that state that stupid jobless youths should start protesting on his behalf. The questions they should ask themselves is that Ibori and his brother ruled the state for collectively 11yrs and they have not been able to create jobs or help the common man in anyway.

Sometimes I feel redemption for our society is truly beyonds us.
PoliticsRe: SSS Joins Efcc, Police In Manhunt For Ibori by monkeyleg: 10:15am On Apr 27, 2010
@Chidichris,

Well u dont get my point.

I told you I am going to be extremely selfish here, and I urge everyone to do that about thier state. We must all hold people responsible for our individual state government accountable, and as far as I am concerned Ibori's actions directly impacted on the people of my state, and he must be held to account.

Charity they say begins at home.

If Edo state people feel that Tony Anenieh has done bad, they have the right to go after him.

But my bigger question to you, is that, can you claim Ibori is innocent? now if you have no proof that he is and I seriously doubt you do, what does it matter if the fight against corruption starts at his door step. It is always going to have to start at someones doorstep. The man is a plain Thief and he should face the consequences of his actions

PoliticsRe: SSS Joins Efcc, Police In Manhunt For Ibori by monkeyleg: 7:31pm On Apr 26, 2010
@Chidichris,

Please if you read through my reply, I never for one called you any names, so if you choose to call yourself, then that is your own look out.

I still dont understand what your point is. Is it that Ibori did not steal money from Delta state? and why should the fight against corruption not start from him? I just dont get it, the fight must start somewhere, and thank God the fight has come to his doorstep, he can run but the truth is that he can never hide.

And what is this obsession with Delta state being the richest state, Delta state was and is still receiving the Federal allocation as well as the 13% oil derivation, please work out per capita if that make us one of the richest states in the country.
PoliticsRe: JTF, police storm Delta creeks - DOOM FOR IBORI by monkeyleg: 1:34pm On Apr 26, 2010
@honeric01,

Please dont mind ChidiChris. Not quite sure what he is playing at. IBORI is a damn THIEF and they must deal with him.

I am being a bit selfish here, but with good reasons, anyone who is from Delta state and thinks properly knows exactly what Ibori did. This nonsense of him not being the only thief in the pack is a very tired excuse. All I care about is Delta state and the evil the man did there.
PoliticsRe: SSS Joins Efcc, Police In Manhunt For Ibori by monkeyleg: 1:24pm On Apr 26, 2010
@ChidiChris,

Are you from Delta state?

People like you are the reason why we have not got anywhere with solving issues in Nigeria. People like you have given another meaning to being bad. "Yes I am bad, but I am not the worst of the lot, after all others are stealing so why me." This is your mentality. The fight against corruption must start from somewhere, too bad it has to start from Ibori.
PoliticsRe: British Election : Who Is Nigerian's Choice? by monkeyleg: 8:27pm On Apr 25, 2010

PoliticsRe: I Am Innocent (My story; James Ibori)! by monkeyleg: 3:49pm On Apr 25, 2010
@ Andre Uweh,

What is Ibori innocent of?

Is that Ibori praying in that picture? I wonder who or what he is praying to?
PoliticsRe: Ibori Flees Nigeria In Militant's Boat! by monkeyleg: 7:36am On Apr 25, 2010
The guilty are afraid. Why is he running. He should stand and defend his 2 corrupt terms in office. Thank God this is begining to send shivers down the corrupt lot in Asaba.

If they do succeed in dealing with Ibori, we then have an opportunity to kick his brother, who is next out of office. The Delta state people deserve more, Nigerians deserve more. We have all been raped, and killed for so long, that it is time that justice and fair play comes home.
PoliticsRe: SSS Joins Efcc, Police In Manhunt For Ibori by monkeyleg: 9:44am On Apr 24, 2010
@EzeUche,

This is not a case of sitting back and watching the ND troubles. I am an Igbo man that grew up in the ND region, Ibori's actions affects us all.

The impunity with which this man ran his affairs cannot be imagined. I think a lot of people commenting, in my opinion are commenting from far.

At some point Delta state was the richest state in the country. Ibori did absolutely nothing with all the money that was given to him, the figure can not be imagined. He weilded unbelievable power. Without going into details, we thought that after 8yrs of the worst rule you can imagine, Deltans would have an opportunity to get rid of him, but that wasnt the case. Ask anyone who knows about the PDP primaries in Delta state, there was such infighting within the party. No selection process was allowed to take place. Ibori forced everyone to accept his younger brother Uduaghan, knowing all the evil he had commited, and having in place to cover up his tracks.

I once heard that even Uduaghan was astonished and the scale of destruction his brother had commited. He had burnt countless bridges, destroyed and created disunity between communities, and lets not forget that it was during Iboris reign that the ND youths started all the troubles. And not to metion the bigger picture of oil bunkering in the region. He has a lot to answer for, for which corruption is just a small part
PoliticsRe: JTF, police storm Delta creeks - DOOM FOR IBORI by monkeyleg: 9:31pm On Apr 23, 2010
Ibori, is a bush common thief, let people stop bigging the guy up. There is nothing mysterious about him. He was in power for 8yrs stole all the money did absolutely nothing for Delta state, installed his brother as Governor to cover up.

Lets no forget that this is the same guy who was caught stealing zink
PoliticsRe: SSS Joins Efcc, Police In Manhunt For Ibori by monkeyleg: 8:46pm On Apr 23, 2010
@Mekusx,

Beaf is right. I think the problem here is that a lot of people fail to grasp the full extent of Ibori's doings. You really need to speak to someome from Delta to understand. And I sincerely doubt that the Urhobo people will throw thier weight behind him. The man did terrible things in that state. Oghara might be the only exception.

I dont even want to go into the pdp primaries of 2007 in Delta state, he forced his brother on us, didnt give the Deltans an opportunity to speak, because he was hell bent on covering his tracks. The youths of the Niger Delta have remained restive largely to the doings of that man. He must face the law be tried and jailed. let us stop all this "he is not the biggest thief in the country", well suprisingly he might be
PoliticsRe: JTF, police storm Delta creeks - DOOM FOR IBORI by monkeyleg: 8:33pm On Apr 23, 2010
All those saying they should free Ibori, really have no clue what he did, and it is this same attitude that has wrecked our country. I am from Delta, and IBORI is a BIG THIEF, DID U HEAR ME? I SAID BIG THIEF, you guys really do no under-estimate the scale of the mans deeds.

If he wasnt so bad, why did he put his younger brother to rule us and hide the truth. HE SHOULD BE CAUGHT, TRIED, JAILED. My only fear is that this his craziness might lead to his death, we all know how police dey do thier own thing, small mistake now, gbosa gbosa !!!

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Why Hate The Truth - Fg Protests Bbc Documentary On Lagos by monkeyleg: 1:55pm On Apr 22, 2010
The FG should go and sleep. If they feel so insensed then they should clean up the country, and get thier act together, if they want people to take them seriously. But I think the FG has really got the motive wrong on this one. They really do not think thing through before acting.

Have we not seen programs depicting JoBourg as the most dangerous place on earth, even programmes are done on places like the US.

Let them go and focus on jailing Ibori first before they start shouting without course. I will be sipping tea and watching the part 2 tonight.

PoliticsRe: Bbc2 Welcome To Lagos! by monkeyleg: 3:41pm On Apr 17, 2010
This was an excellent programme and should be seen in that light. Funny enuff, this might have a positive effect on Nigeria's image in general. "Good people Great Nation" comes to mind. People hustling in the face of great adversity, showing what can be done from nothing. Puts a real human feel to the whole experience. Soemthing the west can learn from us.

Do you know what happens, when you do have a job in the west? the government takes care of you, you are on welfare and they take care of your needs, but not so for us. We struggle, fight, prepared to dig up trash and sell, determined to make a living from nothing. I am of the opinion that this scene is being played out in most cities of Nigeria, that is why we do so well when we leave our shores.

I love this part

"I'm heading out there now, because I've seen a gap in the market, the cattle market at Oluwainshola, that is. They say that, what with Gabriel doing his thing with the blood, nothing is wasted, every part of the animal is used – apart from the hair, that is, which is thrown away. I'm thinking there's got to be something you can do with a cow's hair isn't there? Hair extensions? Wigs? For wags?
