If the said CCTV footage is valid, then the collapse is truly a "controlled demolition". Before you hack my head off, Google can help us here. Check for images of buildings that have collapsed due to poor materials or improper design or as we may put it, "addition of excess floors", you will notice that the structure doesn't come down totally flat at the instance of collapse and at least a portion still stands. Now move to YouTube and check for videos of "Controlled demolition", you will notice a similarity in pattern of collapse.
Please note: This is a view from an angle of education received as I really do not care about all these preachers or politicians really, I just need my own daily bread. The next issue that I really think should be on ground is finding out the perpetrators of this act of terrorism and not pointing fingers by prejudice.

no prejudice bro, building with structural default can cave-in like that without touching nearby structures. My take is that more expert investigation should be done, because as much as the head of the police CID is important, he is not an expert and cannot give authority to what he says about building collapse. I watched the video too, so we should nt just conclude that its a controlled demolition because of the way the building collapsed,that makes Hollywood believable. The video should trigger qualitative investigation acceptable in the 21st century beng scientifically proved. I wish God give us the grace to wait till the end of it all.RIP to the dead.

Wow. Am even thinking of flashing my phone on monday. Since thursday night,my phone has been sending unauthorised sms,typing by itself,calling by itself,some buttons dont work, etc. I ve been wondering how virus entered a bb i bought just 3months ago. Nobody goes to Abuja to join PDP so if there is crisis at ward level even a president can because of that defect since our constitution did not tell us that only crisis at national level can make a party member to defect to another party.

hmmmm. I beg 2 differ. To be qualified for election,you must be a sponsored candidate of such party. A party is registered at INEC as a body corporate. The state nd LG branches are for administrative convenience. Thats why any state wing of a party is cannot be brought to court, you sue the national body which is recognised. So when the CFRN said that ones election is sponsored by a political party, its not talking abt the branch but the whole. If not,then the ward level,state level and national level will be distinct in law. When one is a member of PDP, he cannot say he is a member of PDP sokoto state.

This must be your own constitution and not Nigeria constitution. The basis upon which the speaker based his defection is allow under Nigeria constitution. The only option for anybody like you who feel aggrieved by his defection is to go to court and provide evidence that their is no crisis in PDP in his state.
To help you out, Nigeria constitution does not tell us that the speaker of the house shd always go to the majority. The constitution only said there will be speaker of the house to be appointed among the honorable members of the house. If the majority that have power and can remove him with their voice said they are comfortable with him, where then is your right or the right of PDP or Mr president to decide for them.
In summary, the speaker has the right under Nigeria constitution based on what he claimed is happening in his state. If you have evidence to proof him wrong the court of law is open for you otherwise tell Mr Jonathan to bring part of our $20b to make the criminals in the house happy to help him out.

Hello everyone, when I saw ma call up letter online on thursday, I cud hardly blve my eyes as I was posted to Kano when I had being working it to Abuja. I wept all day and everyone around me tried to console me to no avail. Then the next day I went to sch to get ma statement of result nd guess what...almost everyone was posted to the north..adamawa,kaduna, taraba, Gombe, borno, yobe ,nassarawa. In fact, it was so funny that I forgot ma own plight. I feel better tho...nd m looking forward to rocking that camp even tho I av plans to redeploy soon
