I have said this before that there are millions of South Africans who are just as poor or even poorer then many Nigerians but the difference is that the SA poor are better because they have government services like free electricity, free tap water, free housing, welfare money for their kids, etc. and those who are not satisfied with these free services go out to the streets and protest. Zuma then comes out and calls them lazy.

The hatred SAffas show for other Africans comes from "projecting" how Whites have viewed them as inferior beings and has little to do with getting better service, free electricity and the likes. In other words we can argue being "better than" someone as opposed to being "better off" . Poor Chinese people migrate to SA, I don't see any uproars about their presence. Are they competing for resources the same as other Africans?

The sense of entitlement comes from the fact that they believe they have contributed enough to South Africa and have suffered generations under a brutal regime, therefore they are entitled to the government doing everything for them since the previous one so neglected them.

The political and economic structures inherited by SA pre 1994 facilitates this thought process when in fact it does nothing for their mentality as they remain tribalistic, nepotistic and corrupt as many African governments remain.
