Jumia should stop "pay on delivery." Unscrupulous and unserious buyers are taking undue advantage of that to cause them to bear unnecessary costs for shipping. They won't show when the shipment arrives, or will simply call for cancelation. Pay on delivery is killing the business and generating losses for the company.

Their services are relatively poor and their delivery agents are somewhat unprofessional. They have a habit of begging for tips and sometimes unofficially rescheduling deliveries. Almost none of them will ever ask you to present your certificates for an employment in chambers. That was what I observed when I was scouting for employment in law chambers immediately after my call.

I just bought a fairly used latest model Mercedes from Copart USA.

The car will soon arrive the Apapa Port. I have never dealt with car importation before. The vehicle is for my personal use, not resell.

Kindly advise how I can safely get this vehicle from the port of entry to my home, South South, Nigeria.

I am not used to such long distance driving, so I'll certainly need an experienced driver. I don't know what papers security agents ask for. I'll like to learn about all the car documentation and car servicing required for such road shipment.

The whole of Lagos is a jungle. The day I plied that particular road going to Alaba market, I was really amazed to see everyone doing his/her thing and carry on as if everything was ok. Nobody seemed to complain. Everyone seemed used to the road and unbothered. I then realised that stress and hard life is a way of life in Lagos.
