] Shouldn't our actions be logical before we decide to follow them? Should they not make sense to us first? Do we just follow them for following sake?
If you truely are a xtian (which I'm beginning to doubt) you'll realise that the LOGIC of your actions is in their conformity with the WORD of God; which was where you started your discourse. |
] @bold, that was not my reason for starting this thread, please don't get paranoid. I wanted to get different points of view from people and to see if it is possible to rationalize these poinys of view.
No. I'm not getting paranoid. Rationalize "these points of view" so that then what will happen? IMO with God our points view do not matter in this thing. |
] Why should they BOTH return to the drawing board when the man was the one who made a mistake.
I agree with you on this. The man should know that being head means the buck stops @ his table. Even if the wife decides to "help him" bear bear the blame. |
@OP. What I see is that you are here to look for justification for/to resist what you know the bible is saying in those verses. There are these verses in the bible (OT) where God said the woman's vows to God are subject to the husbands approval (or her father's if a spinster); that if he disapproves such vows are not binding on her. In other words if a wife makes & pays a vow to God without the husband's approval that vow is a nullity: futile. Does this make any sense? |
I repeat: This whole thing is bad belle politics! FG (NOI) can't accommodate Lagos loan in 2013 for no stated reason. When will Lagos be accommodates; 2015? What I see is someone trying to SLOW DOWN the developmental pace of LASG for whatever political reason. Ps: @PointB & Afam, one is concerned about what u guys have become. U now delight in misinformation(?). |

SeunLadipo: 4 ignorant NLders.Dis arabic name means 'Muslim Helpers Group in the Land of the Black Race'So every NLder that doesn't understand arabic is ignorant, ehn? You need to examine yourself. "Who the cap (ignorant) fits, let them wear it..." |
Hitech alleged to be owned by Tinubu. Is it so difficult to find out the ownership of the coy from CAC?! Besides what's the issue with the coy winning contract in all ACN controlled states, is JB/RCC/Arab Con/etc not gettin Fed&state contracts all over the country (even ones not bidded 4)? Issue should be: are they doing quality jobs? |
Imagine the nation's misfortunes: "Lawmaker" now propose insurbordination. How on earth is order going to be ensured & corruption tamed? This rogue legistlator is trying to ensure the doors of corrupt enrichment remain wide open in that ministry. |
OK. We're watching as the consequences of the corruption induced incompetence of Nigeria's security apparatus continue to manifest. |
An insignificant useless action. Both, old, men are DEAD politically. Mark my word. |
Give him a copy of "EVERY WOMAN" & insist he reads all relevant article if he truly cares for his wife. & get as many relevant articles, in soft & copies, as you can get fot him to read. A lot of my brothers (MEN) don't wise up to get as much info/education on the matters of their wives' health as to know what to expect & do. That's why issues that lead to complications are not dealt with early. |
@lanre. If you think of how long in the present republic LASG has been legislating against bad traffic behaviour without success you'll understand the present frustration of the govt. You remember Tinubu's law of 25K &psychiatric test for one-way driving don't you? Did people stop driving 1-way, even "elites" like you & I, before this new law? Just obey the laws & you need not bother about penalties. |
Please do also tell us how Dangote deals with competition & his role in the high cost of cement in the country. Thank u. |
We've got too many rotten eggs in the Police...
Not rotten eggs. BARE CRIMINALS! That's what they are. |
Just study the relevant laws and obey them. There can be no the society without rules & laws. And we, Nigerian, like you OP, are habitual law breaker always seeking our selfish liberties without thinking of others: so we resist every step taken to correct us. Why park ur car on the road is the road part of your property (house)? A lot of govt personells can be arbitrary & overzealous. |
macjive01: Take heart and pray more brethren , can i ask you a simply question ? have you paid your tithe this month ?U're on ogogoro overdose. Do u think I feel trivial about this? |
What a gas! I was looking foward to a fun thread (even the women -sorry ladies- were) & OP just deflated. Dear @OYINBO how did you come about such juvenile answer? Very uninspiring! OK o. But just know that that "brain" is a double edged sword you must manage well. |
I wonder how the topic changed from "BPP Certifies Manitoba Contract" to "Gbawe & his Political Affiliation"......... ![]() Folks should learn to address Issues and not focus on people...
Those Folks are the IRRITANTS that're undermining the value of NL, & present us as a hopeless nation of unreliable people to the world |
The Westerners are very tolerant.
Even to the point of being cowardly! I'm upset with my people each time I read these lamentations. People should learn to defend their "homes" against "invaders". MW, OPC is busy landgrabbing. B*AS*TARDS |
The Westerners are very tolerant.
|
Can one give more than 1 answer?! OK. Boobs (shebi na MEN get this thread?) |
Madam OP. This issue shouldn't come to NL! What's in taking a simple fundamental, but critical, decision? Where's your hubby in this? (he could've decided since you can't). Soon ppl will seek NLders' advice on whether to let their infants crawl to main road! --I don't mean to be insultive-- |
seanet01: Good one Hamaz. You should have feed their carcass to the vultures. What a letdown. Very Repulsive...! |
The contract had been cancelled officially (days) before the presidential chat, surely, not after. I'm waiting to see how well FG will do handling this road. It does not matter the contracting/construction firm, the perfomance of a contract (quality et al) depends on the diligence/commitment of the client, in this case FGN. Concession's still the best option, IMO. |
OK @wesley thanks for the help. Now I know the MASSIVE "MATERIAL" IRREGULARITIES. How 'bout how the irregularities have been corrected? |
eGuerrilla: @Mowire, I won't hold my breath if I were youI'd do no such thing! I'd sift info. |
OK so you already answered b4 I asked. Let me read ur answer. |
Would be nice if can quote relevant aspect of the said report here (@least for info) & what new manitoba did to get certified now. As for president's response: I did not watch it. So pls educate me. Seriously. |
@Wesley, so what aspect of "due-process" was flouted & in what way was it remedied? |
