And to add to the above: I've seeing dead "babies" in gutters & dumps in Lagos since I was in primary school 35 years ago. I didn't understand the possible sources until 2003 when a maternity home owner advised someone in my presence to use the service of refuse cart pushers to dispose of a stillbirth.

@berem, I've got no guilty feeling. & this story is different from the other one cos here witnesses were just speculating bit stated with certainty that they heard the baby's cry. On the other story witnesses were just speculating over the source of 2 lifeless bodies in a dump.
I've disposed of a stillbirth my own & to date my wife does not know where I buried it. For her emotional good.

There's no way to break up that won't hurt both of u. But the prize is that the hurt will be temporary & both of u can plan futures which foundation is not already riddled with crisis, separately.

Earlier on this thread I had infrerred that if this was a case of still birth, the dumping of the bodies was a careless action. This careless dumping of such foetus is a daily occurence in most (if not all) major cities here in Nigeria; 99% of them don't get reported & the mothers are not always responsible. So there should be restraint in cursing the mother of this ones cos none of us here know exactly what happened.
If u know the sorrow of such mothers u will understand my concern

@Siena. I still insist that if the babies/foetus died in the woman's womb & had to be evacuated from thence one way or another that mother will not be in any position to determine how/where the dead foetus is disposed. She may not even be consulted. This is the fact. I have 1st hand experiences.

Sis, I know from personal experience that the bereaved mother (I hate to use word here) of a still birth does not necessarily give her consent before the disposal of the foetus.

However, I'm also not insisting that you're wrong. But you should have other considerations in your cursing.

And how are you sure it's the mother that dumped the bodies?
A woman delivered of still birth would be in the hospital sick or in grief (or both) for not less than 3 days.
