So, @gbawe, what is Tinubu's equity holding in the consortium he's promoting?

Question: What percentage of the respective companies belong to these individuals?

Would it have been wiser for Tinubu & any ACN state government to stay away while the control of power in their area of interest/influence is being sold off because they consider the govt (GEJ) selling incompetent?

I've read a post on this thread by a S/Easterner to the effect that the SE will should not let outsiders control power supply in their region. Should S/W allow such?

Not everyone was misled. What is certain is that if local refining capacity is not first increased so called subsidy regime will eventually return thru the same mechanism that got the figure bloated last time.

DEREGULATE. Deregulation is what is required to get PRIVATE refineries to come in. The term subsidy will not cease as long as a people exist. It will also continue so long as govt in power is sponsored by crooks. All you need to get subsidy regime to resume is to tag imported fuel with an outrageous price that will send the citizenry to the street.

Ps: How much will it cost to refine 1litre of petrol locally?

From the OP only d Nonso boy can be proven to have sold sedative to anybody without prescription & that (as is reported) was on compassionate ground to a responsible looking person. & He even demanded for prescription at first.

The headline is actually misleading: There is no mention of FG taking over directly in that article. It sounds more like intention to renegotiate a badly conceived concession to me.

I think FG should just give the South African partner Bi-Courtney brought the guarantee they requested. That tolling will not be made near impossible as it was the case with the Lekki-Epe expressway is a major consideration for any would be road concessionaire in Nigeria today.

On the other hand, this same FG has not done anything at all to make the alternative routes of Ikorodu-Ijebu ode and Ikorodu-Shagamu roads motorable in the same space 3yrs into this bedeviled agreement.

He may be a shrewd bizman but without his effort Nigeria would've become a hopeless 1-party (PDP) state today with no one to challenge anyone to perform well in govt.
