good morning all, its been a while i posted but i still read and get updated with everyone's posts. am sorry for those that had bfn's and suffered losses........its a matter of time and every of our dreams will come to pass.
i want to use this opportunity to testify on the goodness of God upon my life. even when i lost all hope and felt God was not there-but he's always there. he know's best and makes all things beautiful in its time. i got my bfp from my 5th ivf for those who dont knw my story. 1st ivf-bfp(miscarriage), 2nd, 3rd(BFN), 4th-no fertilisation. i thought my world had crumbled and things were getting worse since i dint even get to ET.mind you everyone said i was so young(27yrs) so y was it not working out. God turned my captivity around in the 5th cycle and i got my bfp-that is not the end of story oh...........i like to talk about diagnosis since i used to be interested when people get their bfp's to know their physical challenges cos it gives hope to those with similar issues.i was diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis also low count for dh. am sorry for the long post but am not finished yet coz after bfp some other stories followed which i feel will be helpful to others. will be right back.

To understand what u wrote. u used the Northside/north point obgyn. I was told by the billing and obgyn coordinator( Judy Furbish) that the doctors fee is $2200 excluding lab tests. Was that the same for you. Therefore your lab tests was the $300 that made it $2500.

I used Northpointe Obgyn. They have 4 doctors within their organisation. Please note that there are several obgyns affiliated to Northside Hospital.

Altlanta women's health group is another Obgyn office. So they will have different rates/rules. You can ask for the cost of the tests and if they will accept your test from Nigeria.

I used Northpointe Obgyn. I used the Northside campus in Alpharetta. Fee for VD is 2500 and CS is 3000. You can check Shawbabes post and other Atlanta mommas post in 1st or 2nd thread for more details

Just to give back to the house, I have decided to settle for Northside hospital in Atlanta after hopping from Houston to Tennessee .

For CS is $21,000 with 75% discount if you are paying immediately which brings it down to $5475, then you have to pre register online and could also make payment before you arrive the States . I intend paying via form A so as to benefit from the official rate . Was asked to call back next week when my details must have reflected in their account to get the bank details for wire transfer.

Also contacted Dr Andrews and she gave me a quote of $1900 for CS , lab work is $750.

I'm leaving in April, anyone going around that time using Northside?

@Iphie26. You will get a cheaper bill from Northside if you ask for 2 days stay for CS. It should come to abt $3600 for mother's bill and i think 700 for baby.

Can I still change it on my CIC, or do I delete my profile and start from scratch as I do not want to have conflicting information for PNP and CIC.

I was supposed to see my period yesterday and when I went to the loo I wiped and saw brown blood, this is what normally begin with my period so I was like it's here again I don't bother using any thing cos I was in the office and was close to closing time.

I got home and nothing, before I slept I put something in there so that I won't wet the bed, behold I woke up dry, this is never in my life the case.

On my way today I just decided to buy 50 50 naira pregnancy test and behold...... It was showing positive, I doubted and used the second one, still came positive. Though faint sha.

Please join me in Praising God, Alhamdulilah, I got my BFP this year from my first IVF and blessed with a bouncing baby boy this December. i have always wanted to come in to share my testimony but cldn"t due to some reasons. I remember I was very unhappy this period in 2013, cos i just had a failed IUI, the good lord that changed my story and made me a mum will bless all the ttc sisters here. To all undergoing the procedure and those yet to start, the good lord will grant you your heart desires. I got my BFP after trying to conceive for 4 yrs + heterectopic pregnancy and surgery to remove the tube. He is the same God yesterday, today and tomorrow. Please hold on to his rope and pray ceaselessly. He is the most merciful. I feel so much joy when I look at my son and may we all experience that feeling.

Thanks to all those who have shared their experience on this thread. @Blendy thanks for providing the information i wanted for Cape fertility in SA. May God reward you abundantly for your support to the ttc sisters.

BTW i got my BFP at Dr Emeka's hospital. Olive feritility. Wonderful doctor!

@kaybim1010, there are two types of IUI, the IUI with timed intercourse is abt 122k and the IUI with insemination is 198k. U need one patent tube and atleast 15miliion sperm count. You can go to olive branch fertility clinic, Dr Emeka Ikenna. He is verrry good. All the best

Although I recently had a failed IUI cycle with him but we had a low count on the day of the procedure. Hubby's system just shut down. Phew! It is well sha.

I have been down for the past couple of weeks but Alhamdulilah I am a lot better now. I had a failed IUI, I had 10 eggs and yet BFN.I was so sad that I ate every junk that came my way. Icecream, chocolate, biscuit, coke etc.

And now I have added extra 4kgs. Phew.

I believe all this struggle will come to an end soon, God's time is never too early or too late.

So back to weightloss o.
