The dogs in that video are Pit Bulls, and in the US, one of the most common ILLEGAL "sports" held in the poor black and Mexican ghettos is Pit Bull fighting, financed with cash bets placed by onlookers seeking to correctly predict the outcome of the fight, which more often than not results in the death or mortal injury of one, or BOTH combatant dogs.

This sort of activity has created a whole cottage industry in the USA's many squalid ghettos, populated by uneducated, impoverished, drug-dealing blacks who get involved in breeding and fight-training of Pit Bulls, as a source of illegal gambling income.

Obviously a few Nigerians who spent many years living in drug-infested American ghettos or jails, most likely wound up getting deported back to their homeland, where they decided to go ahead and ape the dog-fighting crimes they witnessed in the "hood, back when they lived stateside.
