How common is eating pythons in Nigeria ? I see it posted constantly but is it something the average family would eat ?

Keep deluding yourself, the people I mentioned were regular Americans and two of them were brought up in a Christian home....Your premise of White man's religion is better than African spirituality because of cannibalism is flawed....Any other argument is between you and your keyboard!

It's not whether it's "better" and it's not about cannibalism per se

Its about familiarity and knowing what's acceptable under Christianity

Christianity doesn't support what those men did. I doubt the were practicing Christians

I'm not going to practice Ifa and I don't even know what they do or don't support.

Theres too much shrouded in secrecy and left to the practitioner or babbalow's own discretion.

We don't have to discuss what that has resulted in

Young man know your history and stop spewing rubbish....Learn about Jeffrey Dahmer, Marc Sappington, Alexander Kinyua and many others in the USA that were cannibals. Many others in Europe, your white man's religion or African religion has nothing to do with cannibalism!

Those v people weren't Christians. Stop pretending as if "African spirituality" isn't directly responsible for some outrageous stuff.
Crime / Re: 2 Suspects Arrested For Eating Roasted Police Officers’ Flesh In Oyo by MrAkata: 5:20pm On Nov 21, 2020
This is why I laugh at my fellow Akatas that criticize me for being Christian and preach about "African spirituality"

I've been to Africa and I prefer the white man's religion grin

Yall gotta stop eating people and sacrificing goats and people grin

I say a prayer at night and I'm cool.

Justice delayed is justice denied.
Very wicked human being... To bury some1 alive & to think of it for a crime she didn't commit. That's pure wickedness.
I'm sure that this guy has Nigerian blood in him

Before they can b execute you they must wait until you exhaust all possible appeals. Once you appeal and appeal and there's nothing left to appeal then they move forward

Bros, that is why we have laws. Let the laws hold whoever that is found culpable.

A country with over 100 million extremely poor people representing over 50% of the population can't run free market capitalism. It will end in total chaos.

The stable economy we yearn for will never come from the private sector. Instead, few billionaires will emerge with more extremely poor people.

I was younger when cement factories were privatized. Today, has it actually improved our ability to own houses? Rather, Housing deficiency continues to grow. At the last count we needed about 20 million units of housing. How can we come close to solving that when cement has become more expensive in Nigeria than what it's sold in the international market?

The people in place to enforce the laws are the ones breaking the laws. What laws are holding Diezani accountable for the billions she looted ?

You don't understand economics. Having govt owned refineries functioning at 50% doesn't help the economy. They don't produce jobs. Theyre piggy banks for corrupt politicians.

Nigeria produces oil but spends the money they made importing the refined products.

The private sector ensures production and efficiency are the main objective. This will translate into steady jobs and reduce unemployment. Private companies must compete for talent meaning better wages and benefits.

Nigeria has proven over the last 50 years the government is incompetent. Would you like to wait 50 more ? What else could logically be done besides privatize ? Would you like your kids grow up with 24 hr electIricity ? The govt doesn't care because they can afford industrial generators.

Madness... Assets built with about 4 Trillion will be sold at about 10% of the value. It's sad. We keep selling off national assets for crumps and leaving huge debt profile.

We can't leave the economy of this country in the hands of the private sector.

Who told you Government has no business in business?

We should be careful how we push this capitalism narrative. What the society needs transcends beyond profit.

Why has America the capitalist headquarters of the world maintained United States postal service that has made losses of about $70 billion in the past 11 years?

Why haven't they sold it to DHL or Ups?

Most European countries today that we want to run to operate socialist economy to a large extent. You go to Germany today citizens are entitled to free education, subsidized housing and health care. England, Sweden, Denmark, Holland same thing. Price of food commodities has been at almost same rate in the last 20years.

Let them leave the economy in the hands of the private sector and see if they will have the stable economy they have today.

You either want a functional energy sector or u don't. The government has proven they're incapable or unwilling to run businesses.

Don't compare it to America because in the public sector nobody is buying jets and living lavishly.

It's the reverse in Nigeria. The public sector executives are the ones living ostentatious lifestyles.

This is a win for the people of Nigeria. It doesn't matter if their sold at a loss if the plants were losing billions annually

Politics / Re: Arabic Script On Naira Notes: Culture Clash Over Nigeria's Rival Alphabets by MrAkata: 6:09pm On Nov 15, 2020
This is a stupid argument because English is a colonial language linked to Christianity. By only having English it would suggest Nigeria is a Christian country. Arabic recognizes the Islamic influence in the country. By having both you recognize both religious influences in the country.

It's kinda like throwing stones and hiding your hand. You're being divisive in a slick and cunning way.

Foreign Affairs / Re: How Donald Trump Lost America - Bloomberg by MrAkata: 4:01pm On Nov 08, 2020
Trump didn't know when to chill. Jack Dorsey allowed Trump to hang himself. Trump didn't pick his battles wisely. Everyday people waited to see what stupid crap he'd tweet next. Some of those tweets lead to riots. Trump was a wild card and tricked himself out of the white house. He couldve been reelected but he chose to pander to idiots worrying about Kapernick taking a knee.

I'm pissed Trump blew the election but I know he did it to himself

I'm American but I don't understand the African concept of "house help"

I feel for one it's exploitive and too close to indentured servitude.

I won't be able to sleep at night knowing I pay my "house help" $150 a month

I'm not saying he deserved it but if he they killed him for $1k that says allot.

Yall better raise the minimum wage for house help

The Fani-Kayode's are a pure bloodline.

They're from a bloodline of colonial puppets.

This is evidence that Nigeria is still governed and controlled by colonial interest.

The legacy of colonialism is obvious but too complex for the average Nigerian to understand

Nigerians are proud of their colonial history which is why they're easily governed and controlled

Nice.....there is no doubt we are the real niggarrrrs of Africa

First it was our baby girl( okonjo iweala) who grab the wto director General
Ikweremadu got something from ipc

Now this our young niggarrrr got something from Google

We keep on showing to the world especially to those low budgets ass moda fuckkking noisy neighbors of ours called Ghana and south Africa that we are the real niggarrrrs of Africa

It amazes me that Nigerians can't figure out why they have problems with everyone. This man has a regular everyday position that hundreds of people have. It's a regular salary and at the low end of Google totem pole.
Google employs thousands of people.

Nigerians CRAVE for people to be jealous of them. You really believe in your mind Ghanaians and South Africans would trade places with a Nigerian ? I honestly believe more Nigerians would rather trade places with South Africans or Ghanaians.

Stop setting yourself up to be laughed at

My Dad is an American citizen and my elder sisters (4) are all in America. If paradventure I wanna apply for US Visa, can I get to be a citizen straight up sequel to the fact my dad and sisters are all American citizens?

I would suggest you start the process . Trump is trying to change the process. Before Trump your family could file for u to come over. Trump's administration is moving towards a more merit based system. They're no longer giving preferential treatment to those with family in America.

1. Iraq
