Politics › Re: Policeman Kill Makoko Traditional Ruler by Mrchippychappy(m): 2:43pm On Jul 22, 2012
According to eye witnesses, the victim who was identified as Timothy Hunpoyanwa, was said to be conducting residents of the troubled community who were on a peaceful protest before the police corporal shot him.

The deceased was the assistant Baale of Makoko with the title Otun Baale.

He reportedly gave up the ghost on the way to Gbagada General Hospital.

The Lagos state government began the demolition of the waterfront shanties last Monday, claiming that structures built within 100 metres from a power line installed on the lagoon would be demolished.

It was however gathered that on Saturday morning, a joint task force consisting of police, officials of the state Ministry of Environment and Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI), extended the demolition and this led to a scuttle and protest by the residents.

Confirming the unfortunate incidence, a statement signed by the Police PRO, Ngozi Braide, named the alleged police officer as Corporal Pepple Boma. He is said to be attached to the Marine Police, Oworonsoki Division and was posted on special duty with the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) on the demolition exercise at the water front of Makoko.

According to the statement the police officer “allegedly shot a man in the stomach. The victim was rushed to the General Hospital, Gbagada where he was later confirmed dead. The corpse has been deposited at the General Hospital, Ikeja for post-mortem examination, while the suspect has been arrested and detained at the State CID Panti, Yaba.
I've never heard that Yoruba name before . Are these Makoko folks really yorubas ?

vladimiros: any southern senator that votes for this should have his house burnt down
+100 . I totally agree . i made a post similar to yours earlier on.
If they want grazing fields then how about they turn one of their northern states into a TOTAL GRAZING FIELD ! Bauchi , Gombe , Sokoto , Katsina , Niger , Yobe , Adamawa , Borno , Kebbi , Kwara etc they should choose one of these states and TURN IT INTO THEIR GRAZING FIELD . If they come down south THEY WOULD DEFINITELY ATTACK THEIR HOSTS and then all hell would break lose , It would be so bad that west africa and indeed africa at large would feel the impact of this . I would also suggest that ALL SOUTHERNERS keep an eye on their REPRESENTATIVE IN THE SENATE and if by some dubious means (ghana must go exchange) any southern senator votes YES for this Bill and the bill is passed , then i would urge southerners to HOLD THAT REPRESENTATIVE IN THE SENATE responsible for any action the herdsmen carry out on their hosts , An eye for an eye and if the herdsmen kill or r.ape any of their hosts then the Southerners should burn down that senators house , attack and if possible kill that southern senator who voted in favour of this bill because that senator is a traitor who betrayed his people and he too must suffer
Politics › Re: Senators Fight Over Grazing Land For Fulani Herdsmen by Mrchippychappy(m): 12:30pm On Jul 21, 2012
gboss4sure: Here is the solution. Since the fulani people needs grazing lands, migrate one of the state in the north and convert the whole state into a grazing field and leave the south east alone unless you guys want to see more bloodshed cause igbos wont take any nonsense in their land.
Classic . This deserves a NOBEL PRIZE . If they want grazing fields then how about they turn one of their northern states into a TOTAL GRAZING FIELD ! Bauchi , Gombe , Sokoto , Katsina , Niger , Yobe , Adamawa , Borno , Kebbi , Kwara etc they should choose one of these states and TURN IT INTO THEIR GRAZING FIELD . fagamite: Ode ni e.

WHy is he making such a fuss over an ordinary mechanic shop? What is the capacity of this particular shop? What impact is it supposed to have on the state of unemployment in Lagos? Why is opening a mechanic shop a priority for his govt when Lagos isnt that short of roadside mechanics and there are more important things begging for his attention? what kind of people is that shop supposed to train? Where is the funding coming from? Any conflict of interest we need to be aware of? We need facts & figures and answers to these questions, not just some stupid ACN propaganda machine going into overdrive.
Took the words right out of my mouth . This project is an epic failure . How does this affect the AVERAGE lagosian ?

This is unconstitutional and the FG must stop this . Our governors and politicians keep abusing their powers but the FG must take a stand sooner or later but the earlier the better . How is it one nigeria where states keep "deporting" fellow Nigerians in their own country . FG must use ekiti as a scapegoat so others would learn.

This WAKU guy has sold his people in the middlebelt to the Fulanis in exchange for political influence . Thats none of my business anyway as far as i am concerned Oritsejafor should leave the Middle belt folks to handle the "monster" they created by themselves . We would be fine down south BUT should this Boko bas.tards try anything down south THEN Pastor Oritsejafor can speak to the international media but for now leave the middlebelt guys and the fulanis to settle their "in house" wahala after all they are all "ONE NORTH" so this is probably just a case of sibling rivalry grin grin grin

dayokanu: I can see a marked improvement in you so i would attempt to engage you.

I think its the govt that should take action not the citizen. Cos ok If you kill Fulanis, definitely you don't expect them to go home and not do anything

They would come back for revenge(Think to Plateau issues attack and counterattack)

Fulanis are warlike and can lose 1,000 ppl, let me ask Can Igbos for example afford to lose just 100-200 ppl as collateral damage?)

But when the govt through the army or Police take the necesary action, there wont be need for reprisal or counterattacks.

There is no bravery in fighting a mad man who has nothing to lose. Its the Igbos, beroms, yorubas etc who want peace in their land, Fulanis are ok with chaos and weekly bloodshed

Think about it
I think this fear of the "BOOGEY" fulani warrior is getting out of hand , are we saying the Fulanis are the only ones licensed to kill while the rest of the Nation especially the Igbos should just fold their hands and smile like some "happy go lucky f00ls"? . Talking about loses , We lost 3million OFFICIALLY (this doesn't count for the people we lost in the pogrom and those that went missing )in the biafran war and well we multiplied more than ten folds . You made mention of "peace in the land" well Sometimes the only way to ensure peace is to use brute force against your enemy something america did right after the Japanese attacked pearl habour and something the jews have done against their neighbouring arab countries . NO ONE HAS THE MONOPOLY OF VIOLENCE . The beroms can be intimidated because they are a minority tribe in a very tiny and disputed landscape. The Hausas/Fulanis know better than going against a tribe that stood against the nation + her allies for 3 years.
Politics › Re: Fulani Herdsmen Attack Enugu Community by Mrchippychappy(m): 6:54pm On Jul 18, 2012
kettykin: I am not really excited about igbos killing 1 fulani and 2 cows ,

The questions i have is what happens if Fulani decide to turn enugu into another jos seeing the way enugu , ebonyi and abia allowed them to stray in to their territory, could this be another berom/fulani warin the making. can the igbos afford to go into another battle just 42 years after the first war will the midddle belter remain neutral or will Gowon and Danjuma (who have so far decided to remain neutral in Fulani/Berom war) remain neutral or will the mobilise and fight for the north again .
What will be the fate of Yorubas will they also allow fulani to use their land and territory to launch attack against igbos aftre pledging to secceded .

Can igbos really afford a 3 pronged war at this moment will Soviet union, Arab world and britain remain neutral or come to assist the fulanis
Calm down , You're thinking to far grin grin grin . Its good to have a creative mind but trust me this isn't the first time the igbos have massacred the fulanis and their livestock and this probably wouldn't be the last time . The fulanis are wild (of course we know that) but they wouldn't dare try to wreck havoc in a region where their population isn't up to 1%. Take what happened in Benin city some months back , the benin youths made hell rain on the Fulanis they had to run to the barracks for protection and they left their cattles behind and well the benin boys helped them "protect" the cattles grin grin grin and till this day the Fulanis haven't done shite there. The Fulanis wouldn't want to start something in a region they command no power whatsoever in . Now coming to your reference on Jos and the Middlebelt , The reason the middle belt is the way it is because the MB folks where so desperate to tag along and shake of the "minority tribe" label that they were willing to throw away their own identity and embrace the Fulanis hoping that one day the Fulanis would see them as their brothers and sisters and then the Berom man would no longer see himself as a minority berom man but as "Fulani" man , unfortunately things don't always turn out they way we humans wish they would and today the MB is a mess and the indigenous MB tribes are steps away from being classified "endangered".

emmke: I strongly believe that the middle belt states like Plateau, Benue, Taraba etc should quit that arewa consultative forum. We don't belong there and clearly they (the core northern states) do not have our interest at heart. Imagine the mofos keeping mute while the fulanis went on their killing spree only to spew craps when the StF decided to evacuate the fulanis for the sake of peace. Kudos to Gana and fcukx Oseni, he's a persona non grata in Plateau anyway.
