Friends and colleagues have taken to Facebook to mourn a young woman identified as Onyinye Odo, who was reportedly died after a fire incident, Reports.

Details surrounding her death are still sketchy as the time Is Filing This Report, however, it was gathered that Onyinye succumbed to severe burns she sustained following a gas explosion.

One Edah Mmesoma, who confirmed the story to on Wednesday, March 3, said the explosion happened at her place of work.

The police in Anambra state have arrested a 35-year-old man identified as Kingsley Igwe, for allegedly stabbing his wife, Oyinye Obi, 31, to death with a Kitchen knife in the early hours of today March 4, at their home on Dueze street Otigba in the 3-3 Area of the state, Reports.

A statement released by Haruna Mohammed, spokesperson of the state police command, said the suspect allegedly ran amok in circumstances yet to be ascertained and attacked his wife with a kitchen knife and inflicted multiple fatal injuries all over her body.

''Police detectives visited the scene and rushed the victim to Apex hospital
for medical attention but was certified dead on arrival by a medical doctor.

Corpse deposited at the hospital's morgue for autopsy. The knife used in perpetrating the act was also recovered and resgistered as exhibit.'' Haruna said.

The spokesperson added that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Bala Kuryas, has directed the DPO to transfer the case to State CID, Awka, for discreet investigation in order to unravel the actual cause of the incident.

The two children rescued after they were driven out of the house by their aunt in Cross River state, have been reuinted with their families, Reports.

reported that the kids, Mary Abraham and Evelyn Daniel Edet, were found crying on the street of Calabar and rescued by an NGO, Basic Rights Counsel Initiative, last Wednesday.

The NGO confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday, March 3.

"This is to notify the general public that the children (Mary and Evelyn) who were found alone on the road crying after being driven out of the house by one Aunty Comfort have been reunited with their families. Thank you to everyone who shared the post and made this reunification possible."

Men of the Imo state police command have arrested a man identified as Emeka Ezuruike, a native of Ubommiri in Rivers State, for allegedly killing a 25-year-old man Victor Ikegwuonu who accused him of sleeping with a married woman.

According to a statement released by Orlando Ikeokwu, the spokesperson of the command, preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased, Victor Ikegwuonwu, was said to have informed a 52-year-old man, Pa Chijioke Anyiam, that his wife Patience Anyiam, 30 yrs old, was involved in a hot romance with the suspect.

''Sequel to that, Emeka went to see Victor to ask him about the allegation.
During the enquiry, both of them got into a serious fight and in the process Emeka Ezuruike stabbed Victor Ikegwuonu with pieces of broken bottles which led to the death of Victor Ikegwuonu.''the statemet in part read.

Ikeokwu said the suspect has been arrested and taken into custody and that he will be charged to court as soon as investigation into the matter is completed.

Gunmen suspected to be cultists have killed a rival cult suspect at Ugbori community in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, Reports.

From The Information Gathered By News Crew, The deceased identified as Ekpo Kperegbeyi, was shot dead in his house at about 2:30p.m on Wednesday, February 3.

The assailants reportedly arrived his house in an ash-coloured Toyota Camry car, shot him dead in his bed and fled the scene, Learnt.

It was gathered by News Crew, That the deceased's mentor and leader was also killed a fortnight ago in Warri and Ekpo was alleged to have partaken in a revenge mission where four suspected cultists were hacked to death last week. He was reportedly counselled to relocate for his life, but refused.

Police operatives from “A” Division Police Headquarters, Warri, who arrived the scene shortly after the incident, conveyed the remains of Ekpo to a morgue.

Men believed to be Nigerian soldiers because of their uniform were nabbed in Abuja after one of their victims called for help, Reports.

According to Reports Gathered By News Crew, The men kidnapped a man named Paschal Oshi and took him to an unknown location in Abuja, where he was beaten and forced to transfer N220K to one of their accounts.

Paschal was later dumped in the middle of a bad road in Kubwa, Abuja, but he raised alarm before his abductors could go far, Learnt.

Locals rushed after the car that couldn't zoom off fast enough due to the poor state of the road and they were able to apprehend some of the "soldiers" while others got away.

The uniformed men were taken to a police station where their car was searched and another victim named Jacob was found in the trunk of the car.

A relative of one of their victims shared video and photos to Twitter while alleging that the Army is now "compromised".
