So I've been dating this lady since early this year and everything has been going on smoothly, in fact I even had to tell my mom about her, the first time I would talk to my mother about a lady, but she sounded not too pleased about the lady. Someone she hasn't even met physically.

I've two younger sisters between aged 17 and 15, I didn't like the way they were dressed the last time I visited home so I always try to send them a token every month end to get new cloths. This Xmas I have a lot on my table and have been brainstorming on how to structure my expenses.

My babe is an only child and a fashion freak so she has loads of cloths in her wardrobe. She offered to give some to my sisters without me even asking. She gave me over 30 different pieces of cloths, and bought an ayaya gown or whatever its called for my mom worth around 15k. This is a student that doesn't even have a reliable means of income and I don't give her much. She opened up that she has been saving to get my mom a gift.

I called my mom this morning to tell her that I would be sending the cloths over with some other stuffs I bought for them and she outrightly rejected the girl's gifts citing spiritual reasons that she cant accept gifts from someone she doesn't know. She even accused the girl of trying to pressure me into marriage by pretending to love my family.

I am 30 years old and have dated countless ladies and none has showed genuine concern towards my family like this particular one. It would be so heart breaking to tell her that my mom rejected her gifts knowing how she enthusiastic she was gathering those items.

Sometimes I get tired of my moms spirituality, she's not considering that my sisters even need those items. Those cloths worth over 50k even as second hand materials. I don't understand why she would dislike someone she hasn't even met before.

How do I handle this situation, I don't know what to do with these items, I can't return it to my girlfriend cos it will really hurt her.

My advice to you is... Let your girlfriend flex her relationship with your sisters. Then you can actually invite your sisters over for a weekend and when they're about leaving, she can gift them the clothes. Na she go run from them sef when dey begin disturb her. Lol

Try marketing girlfriend to your mother and let her begin to like her before any other thing.

Nothing spiritual here. Perhaps she's vexing cos she wanted you to do something for her which you've not.

Especially building a house. Try and check and talk her into calming down

After three months of us breaking up I had a business idea, year 2020, got into it and within two months I made my first million was single for a year.

2021 I met a lady and started meeting … and within a space of 6 months, I was back to square one…

Early this year was tough and depressing, and by June, we were already having relationship problem, hence some space between us.

But from September I notice some positivity, business took off I started saving up and by November I had to buy a property to compensate myself for a hardworking year ..

Now my problem is I’m disturbed , this lady been asking for us making the relationship official .. but I’m scared loosing it all … I keep getting back to the ground when I’m in relationship…

But will I be single for life … I’m just lost.

Control your spending while dating. So going extreme to please her. Never let her know your finical state. Always act low on funds. Once a woman knows you have 5 million, if the money no finish, they won't rest. Be it your mother or any other. They will talk you into doing something!!! Even if it's buying a land. But that might not be your own plan.

Hello nairalanders, there is this very good friend of mine who got married this year, early April.So last week Friday,i came to do some projects around that ibeju lekki side of Lagos.So my friend lives there with his bride and after closing for the day,i decided to say hi to them because it's been a while we met.I got there,knocked on the gate but to my surprise I met the gate slightly closed then I begin to wonder what if thieves entered the compound.I entered the house and heard moaning. Ever since i packed into my new house, my landlady and her daughter have been disturbing my life one way or the other.

Well, this is a very simple case. Listen to my advice. It is the best solution for him. He needs to get a lawyer immediately.

Most people use where they have worked as referrals. Even if you do not use where you have worked as a referral, you do add it to your CV under working experience. Some recruiters reach out to past employers to make inquiries about the candidate.

Let him get a lawyer. The MD should write an official apology letter. Stamp and signed in the company letterhead. In the letter, the MD should clearly state that he would give honest and good feedback about the boy's honesty if ever he is asked. If need be, get an order refraining him from speaking bad about the boy. Any act to speak bad about the boy will be taken as outright defamation of character.

Why do I say this? The boy might just accept an apology from the mouth of the MD and he stops working there. If a new employer calls the MD to make inquiries about the boy, you would be shocked at what the MD might say. Some Nigerians are very very wicked. He would tell them the boy stole from him. And that will be the end of the boy's chances in the new place of work.

Let him get a lawyer. He needs a written apology. He needs the MD to put in writing that he would refrain completely from defaming the boy's character henceforth. If the boy doesn't do this, he would be playing with his future. A man that can lock you up for 2 weeks without proper investigation can easily say evil about you without blinking.
