why are you contesting?

1. i believe i deserve to be Mr Nairaland because i entail all the characteristics of Mr. Nairaland from having Charisma, to be being jovial, intelligence, humility and an open-minded nature

1. This question is highly subjective, but i believe any man who looks down on a lady because she made the 1st move is a coward, this is because you don't know the effort it took her to confess her feelings to you, when i was younger i was a coward ( because i looked down on them ) but now that i'm older i realize how brave it is to confess your feelings, so my answer is ladies who make the move are very brave, not just brave.

2. Nobody likes to be rejected, honestly it does not feel good at all, i remember when i was still a teen, i'll be praying that someone should treat the babe's F-up, but as an adult i remove my mind from it, because in life "you win some you lose some", that's just the plain truth.

3. I honestly don't believe the NDA are fighting for the good of the Niger Delta, why? this is because you cannot be destroying your own land to spite an outsider, as a microbiologist i know that from the oil spillage caused by the NDA it will take at the very least 30-50 years to clean up the spillage partially ( and i'm being generous with my time frame ). i believe they are fighting for their pockets, and its unfortunate that they have convinced so many Niger Deltan's that they are fighting for them. ( p.s this is my opinion on the matter).

4. its not surprising that no Nigerian university made the top 1000, because as a country we do not value education in this country at all, from our government officials you'll know Nigeria is not serious with Education, they have turned the system into a caricature of what its suppose to be. i believe if the government can implement the following, Nigeria will produce more than 50 universities in the top 100.

1. conducive environment for learning in aspects such as in hostel maintenance, adequate water supply, basic university requirements.

2. seasoned Educations ( professors and co) should be in charge of teaching, when i mean seasoned i'm talking about people with track records of giving quality lectures.

3. retire or sack lectures involved in sorting, sex for grade, cultism etc

4. sack lecturers whose sole purpose in life is to torment, frustrate & ridicule students.

5. adequate funding for the universities to enable them carryout activities hitch free.

there are a lot of points but let me just mention the above.

1. In five years time by God's grace, i should be close to rounding up my PhD programme in a foreign university, one of my career goals is to become a professor, by God's grace that is where i'll be.

2. Mr Nairaland 2016 will go down as the best edition yet ( i'm fairly certain of this), there are a lot of handsome, intelligent and mature guys contesting, but what places "me" above my fellow contestants is my humility as nairalander and my open-minded nature which can be seen from my different topics and post, i believe i possess all the defining characteristics to be crowned Mr Nairaland, and i hope all Nairalanders will help me make it a reality. in essence i believe my humility and open-minded nature will put me on top at the end.

1. My name is Ojo Oladipo Ayede, i'm 22yrs old, i'm from the great state of Ekiti, i graduated with a B.sc in Microbiology in 2014 and by God's grace i'll be going for my M.sc in Immunology and Immunochemistry later this year.

2. I'm "HEAVYLY" single right now ( p.s. i'm searching too), i'm a christian although i'm still trying to find my right standing with God almighty.

3. i came across nairaland accidentally, i was searching for an information about UNILAG back in 2009, and there was link that took me to Nairaland, funny story i was not really interested initially, until i saw an E-war between Buygala and someone else, i decided to visit the page often, in 2014, i decided to register and the rest is history.

my moniker is actually gotten from my last name (Ojo) and one of my names (Mrd), as strange as it is "MRD" is my name also. Hence, Mrdojo

These are the main reasons i pulled out.
I had a choice not to give anybody an explanation, except for my supporters ofcourse. But i had to say something because of some nonsense comments I have been reading lately, aiming to defame my reputation and ridicule my eligibility as a worthy contender of the crown.

I was never intimated into quitting. That's straight up ridiculous! Yes, because i was arguably one of the heavyweight contenders if i must say. (No brags)
I am a very confident person, i am hardly intimidated. A few of you lots who know me well will gladly confess to that.

And besides, i had the strongest team backing me up. A team made up of the likes of Lagunna, Jigsawkillah, Jaybee3, Darkenedrebel, Muva, IamCharis, Lezzlie, Jason21, Thesonofmark, Abumikey, DopeJemi, MissGdope and other heavyweights isn't a small team. That's a effing pound!!!

Plus i know I'm smart and good looking enough. So just stop making up ideas in your head and spreading your uncorroborated theories!
