Pele! Mr Nice guy.
You're even pleading on Jaydee's behalf. That's bleeped up.
She cheated him and i am quite sure it was when Jaydee got tired of reminding her to pay was when he brought the issue here or do you think drivers here don't give benefits of the doubt up to 24hrs before narrating their ordeals here ?
I called her and she hurled insults at me for telling her to pay up. I let her finish and told her if she doesn't quit whoring herself to men, she will meet her Waterloo one day. She hanged up on me, no be only her sabi talk.
Its the same thing i will tell a female friend /sister if I found out she's an escort , who go about cheating people.
Stop calling for people's head here. There are folks (myself inclusive) who have had to let go even after dropping contacts here. Have we not move on with our lives?
And for her to say she doesn't know there was surge made it clear she lied. If you requested for a ride and there's a surge, you'll be notified that prices are higher, so which stupid she yarn be that.
Even if what she had on her that day was that 4k, she could have resorted to plead with Jaydee who may be kind enough to let it go.
You did you part, good! But don't question people's way of trying to get the money from her. She might have said some unspeakable things for the said person to say such to her.
Bro you solid! If she had acted maturely I would have let it slide. She read my chats, blocked me and still I'm the bad guy.

Pope thanks for the advise. This people always want to see the other side of you. I'm glad guys here called and she got shamed! If she no pay the money atleast she felt the heat.

One love keep us together.

This is not an issue of pity for anyone. The reason why I said I won't believe a side of a story is I don't know the real story of this matter. send her your account number through SMS and lets see if she's really scam or not. Me am just not in support of posting riders number anyhow, there are better ways to go about it. I don call some riders here based on numbers drivers put here where riders will tell me that he/she will substitute the money to the insult other callers gave them. No be all of us wey dey here Sabi address issue maturely, some are ready to escalate things while some are just to achieve the riders pay their money.
I get your point brother, I sent her my acct details in my texts to her. How much is 1600? If only she said she's broke or something I wont kill her for it. And for me calling her an Olosho is not an insult, it's what they do.

This girls dont have shame, they dont hide thier work. So calling them olosho is not an insult.

Yes, people here may call her and not act matured but it really works in some extent. I have called other riders who failed to pay the driver in a reasonable manner.

My office is not far from 1004, I will go there and see what she can really do

This is my first time and going to be the last time I will do this. Its obvious some people here dont reason like a normal human being.

You read my story that I picked up riders the fare was due to surge, I lent her 1k to buy things on the way and at the end she paid 4000naira and told me she will pay the balance on monday.

What other info did i left out? What will i gain by putting up someone's number for us to call? Is it not so the person wont do this shit to another driver?

Make I rest here getting angry already

Hello I don chat the girl oo she said you should send your account number. The truth must be told, u didn't help the matter at all. hope u know what some people who claim to talk to her told her on phone. I will post her chat for you to see. Nobody all the people on nairaland get sense. I am sure you hide some information here just to get this people pity for you which is not right
Bro, you are totally wrong. This fool told me she was gonna pay on monday from a friday trip. I didnt even call that monday, it was yesterday I remembered I chatted her up she read my chats and didnt reply, I called her she picked and saw that it was me she blocked my line.

What else will I gain to put her number up? She told me this morning via text message she's not going to pay I should do my worst

I will even go to 1004 today with her pic and see the building manager and he will get her for me.

So correct yourself bro, this fools dont deserve pity.

Sometimes daily.
Taje for instance, as I left the house this morning I went straight to the filling station where I usually buy pms; filling it cost me #4,400 with some fraction because I'd fuel in the tank b4. I started lahe today because I had to do about 20km(1hr: 29min) to visit mechanic which wasnt even around (the tin pain me reach blood) and I closed early today being Monday. b4 getting home the fuel level has gone below half tank. Tomorrow I'll have to refill again b4 going online.

Some days I buy fuel up to 10k.
Na maserati you dey drive?

On this Okada and Keke ban issue, a driver told me yesterday that these Keke and Okada operators are planning on doing a riot on the affected LGAs on the 1st of February. Any car they think Is an Uber or Taxify car could be harmed or destroyed. Guys please how reliable is this info. Have anyone here heard anything as such?
Might be true or false. But drivers out there should desist from hanging thier phones and stop using earphones for now.

Miscreants might want to take advantage.

And the people that they are carrying nko?

The bigger picture is the people that have to rely on Keke, Okada to move about. Or are we encouraging everyone to start buying their own cars?
Nigerians/ Lagosians will adapt. When we were growing up there was no okadas and keke and we still moved.

Maybe the govt should have put in place some measures to check and balance the system. It should have been gradual but what do I know?

Gokada Maxokada and the rest should be used instead.

Keke might be substituted to Korope and the drivers should be throughly trained.

They are banned entirely from operating in the local government. Highway, or no highway

No more Keke in the whole of Lagos island, Ikeja and the remaining three
Wow! I never knew they banned them from everywhere. Well they had it coming... when I was driving the keke guys gave me headache everyday. I nearly killed one back then cos I was so angry but then I looked at the fool he had nothing to lose..if I kill him I knew I wont go to jail.. na money go waste.

Banning them might be harsh but they deserve it.

I am not supporting the government neither am against them but let me just say this. Bikes and Keke was stop on major express road where our regular danfo plus. And they are not banned in streets where danfo cannot play. So let's take note of this before arriving at any conclusions.
Bike and Keke will still run in trade Fair mkt, inside festac and somany other places. So nobody is taking away food from anyone.
Fair point. The Govt is not taking food from anyone. In any same environment you dont expect to see rickshaws and okadas on major highways. Is the accidents or traffic they cause on a daily basis?

They can still work in the streets. Angroiboman is right to some point, but I dont support the idea of wishing death on anyone.

Keke and okadas shouldnt be plying the highways plain and simple.

This is a good step in the right direction.

Dru23 is very exposed and has a mind that quickly adapts to change and the environment he finds himself. People like him never bemoan about misfortune, rather they keep it moving and don't give up.

Dru also has resources, both material and financial resources to keep his business afloat.

Dru is near resources. What this means is, he easily gets original parts, fluids, cheap cars and tools etc direct from the U.S, to run a successful fleet.

He has a different ideology to ehailing business which could be sum in one word "Maintenance".

Now with all these above, when Dru's business keeps flourishing and he intends adding more cars to his fleet, we would FORGET that he has a upper hand because he is fortunate enough to have his hands on the list aforementioned.

What is funny is most successful Nigerians in business NEVER share their business secrets but Dru23 comes on here to drop his success business secrets for free in disguise of MOTIVATIONAL talks and the meme, then I see people lambasting him for whatever reason, Yet, his principles and ideology still works for him.

I have NEVER seen anyone here who took Dru23 advise seriously and came back here to say it didn't work for them. I myself have adopted his idology and as a car owner, things has been smooth for me and my driver.

So Dru isn't only a wise guy to be taken seriously but also a blessing to this forum as well.

Kudos Dru23
Kudos to Gazzuzz too (This man is a great guy too)

Hello guys, how hustle? I took an uber today, (acted cool, guy no no say me sef was once a driver).

Me: morning boss I just ordered a ride
Driver: are u in ****
Me : Yes i am, I'm going to the local airport (told the guy my destination without him asking)
Driver : Ok sir I'm on my way

Got in.. sat at the front, noticed the guy was kinda sleepy.

Me: boss are you good? You seem to be sleepy? (This was 5:01am)

Driver : not really, I'm good.
Lemme cut the story, I showed the guy my uber/taxify driver app told him to relax and I drove.

Getting to Maryland traffic light driver don sleep. I smiled and I felt for the guy. I woke him up at MM2.

Me: took his phone and end trip.. see the fare price, take money (small tip included) told him to put off AC and play loud music or he should just enter forte oil and park and sleep.

Got to Abuja, story is for another day. I sat in the plane just wondering and thinking...
