His beats are subliminal? What does that even mean? Fifty does not have that fan base u're talking about anymore. His songs are not banging on the airwaves like b4. Check the charts his singles are doing far below what is supposed to be "50's standard". The so called suburban white kids listen to Kanye too and from the charts Kanye's singles are doing far better. We all know these so called white suburban kids dictate the charts. So what does that tell u? I really don't care who sells more but I know Kanye deserves it for the effort he put into the album.

OK. Kanye NEVER said anything about quitting, 50 was the one that said so. This whole hype is 50's doing because without it not as many ppl would have paid attention to his album with all the wack singles. He's smart is all I can say about him

my friend, (if i may call you that) its not an attack I'm just stating facts I'll leave it up to you and other faze fans to come up with excuses. Camron and fifty are just examples of artists in a similar situation with record labels. I'll say it again just because faze is on a so-called independent label does not mean he's earning anything close to what 2face is. Its obvious faze is not doing a good job marketing himself because u really can't compare their level of success.

First things first, Kanye is not going anywhere because it was 50 that started this whole hype. Kanye never said anything about retiring. 50 is smart and I have to give it to him, he has managed to make the two albums very anticipated and we all know 50 needs the hype to sell because his singles are not doing well at all. I prefer kanye 100% and I don't care if he doesn't sell more although it'll be sad because it'll just confirm that music is in a state of emergency. Even Kanye says he wishes 50 sells more than him because he likes the challenge for future project saying it'll give him something to look forward to in future. Kanye is an excellent artist, he cares about the music but if he outsells 50 it'll just be icing on the cake for me.

Ok so what does that prove? Camron signed himself and 50cent is under aftermath/shady/interscope. Lemme ask you a simple question. Who is making more money? All that stuff about signing yourself just means u didn't find a good label that would give u a good deal. When all these artists have their own label y do u think they're still under a major label, one word, distribution. So pls go back into your book of excuses and look for another excuse from the faze fan club.

Thank you tosinadeda!!! You guys keep giving all type of excuses why tuface is more successful except that he's more talented. Every excuse that you guys can dig up has been dug.

Why can't u just admit he's better? Why has faze not been as promoted as tuface? is it because his record label does not believe in him? is tuface the only artist on his record label? so why is he marketed so much? is tuface the only popular naija artist doing well right now? so y do we go back and forth about kennis and marketing?

I have said this and i'll say it again, if faze thinks he's not getting the exposure he deserves from his record company then he's stupid for hanging around. Kennis has a winning product thats the reason they don't hesitate to market tuface.

In the US the NFL gets more marketing than Lacrosse, y? because they know the returns they going to get. Its just simply one product is superior to the other. In england why is the premiership more promoted than rugby? Again quality of the product and remember its a business not charity.

Lets stop all this "because" and "ifs" and just check out the evidence on the ground and make your conclusion.

P.S. I agree with u Effa, nobody just makes the mistake of making someone their lead singer you have to earn and deserve it and we're seeing the results right now

This whole kennis music issue u guys keep contradicting each other. Today kennis is the one that made tuface successful tomorrow its kennis is rubbish. make up your minds y'all.

I perfectly understand what u're saying about kennis they sign hype for e.g. they just signed Olu Maintain, thats no doubt but tuface has been able to rise out of that just hype signing and has made two superb records with kennis that has hit everybody's ear drums around the world.

Forget all that yarns about Kennis made tuface what he's not, so wrong!!!! Tuface made kennis what they're not.

Go and check tuface's comments on youtube and see how people from all over the world love this dude's music. Ppl r excited that he's coming to their countries to perform.

I really can't say that about faze, at least theres no proof concerning that. Faze is not just recognized at all, in fact the only other artist getting close to the recognition tuface gets internationally nowadays is D'Banj.

No one knows faze and his music like that (remember i'm talking from a point of view of someone thats outside naija). Talk to concert promoters and ask them the artists people want they'll mention 2face, D'Banj, P-Square, Styl-Plus. No one is mentioning faze (and i know what i'm talking about because i provide sponsors for promoters). Why? Please do not say kennis because all these other artists mentioned above are not on kennis.

Don't mind them, people would create all kinds of situations for their own convenience. If faze was this or that? The music speaks for itself SIMPLE. Kennis oo, storm oo. west side records, mama iyabo records oo, if your talent shines through u're going to be successful. Go and read up on many artists that didn't have major distribution company backing and still made it. Tuface has talent thats the reason kennis signed HIM in the first place and thats the same reason its so easy for them to market him. AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!

Someone on this thread even went as far as saying the skit is going to influence kids to talk that way to their parents, that statement is even funnier than the skit. most definitely Kanye. 50 might be a good business man but i don't think that'll help him this time around. With regards to his businesses, his popularity fuels his businesses which requires 50cent to stay on top in the rap game. So far all his singles have done horribly, i think he has about 4 out now. If 50 doesn't sell albums none of the G-Unit brand products are going to sell. Imagine 50cent out with 4 singles and no theres no buzz whatsoever, well at least in the US. Kanye is going to outsell him.

I agree i think the girls were necessary, just 2face in the video would have made the video drag. I think the concept of the video is nice. Really nice video overall. Four out of five stars. We're getting there!!!

pls faze was nominated for new comer and in no other category. that does not even prove anything. if he was nominated for best male or best album, then i'll admit he has done something to top 2face and as someone said earlier 2face has 5 awards from them already not just nominations, awards. I'm even sure what grounds he holds? His singles are not doing well at all. 50 relies a lot on air play to sell records and that is not working. The status 50 had on hip hop before is gone.

R.I.P. to 50's musical career. He has 4 singles out already with no buzz whatsoever. If 50 sells more than Kanye, then I'll know theres something wrong. 50 is still living off the success of his first album and people are obviously tired of the bullshit he has been bringing out. 50 as usual just wants to start a controversy now to make ppl pay attention to his album. I still don't want to believe she made that statement because that would be grossly irresponsible of her. Just because she has the power to reach out to people does not give her the right to yarn opax. Its hard enough being Nigerian now (or rather its hard telling ppl u r Nigerian) when trying to do business with foreigners, only for her to go and make a statement like that. Ok I'm really impressed, don't understand the Ghana t-shirt and the Ghana billboard but it was a nice video overall. I like this song but I would have thought they'll release other songs as singles before this but still a great song nonetheless.

I actually did some stalk-ish stuvs with my then ex and I got caught. That was a crazy night. I think about it sometimes and I feel like slapping myself. How stupid was I? Anyway I was too young then. NEVER AGAIN would I make a chic make me act that way. They say the devil pushes you to do something stupid/evil and as soon as u're caught he just flees and leaves u by yourself. Thats exactly how it seemed, as soon as I was nabbed I realised what I just did and just felt so stupid and let me not forget to add ashamed.
