Incognito Quant:

Really? Are Nigerian Doctors now Incompetent? From my experience, I choose to disagree. You can say good medical care now is very expensive and maybe not affordable to everyone. The normal trend in Nigeria is to first visit the chemist before going to a Lab, then if no solution yet, before visiting a clinic. Now it is unfortunate if at the clinic, it is a nurse or chew that makes the diagnosis. That's double wahala.
The Nigerian situation is a complex one because 1. Everyone in the Health sector in Nigeria wants to be a doctor without the necessary training. 2. The level of ignorance is just too high. Have you heard of the triad (vicious cycle) of poverty, ignorance and disease? Do you know the ratio of Nigerians to a Doctor?
You don't know what is going on around the world most importantly the developed world, US has midlevels diagnosing and prescribing ,so also UK and many others. In east Africa they have clinicals officer ....all these have helped in increasing their access to medical care and improving their life expectancy. In Nigeria, the mere mention of it will cause an uproar like the post above....so funny.
Government not even the rival JOHESU will lift the carpet off the feet of doctors, as Ransome kuti did to other health workers so karma is around the corner....it is no longer about patients but individual interest.

As far as I know, the 'full extent of your license' for you nurses does not allow you to pretend you're a doctor and carry out diagnosis and prescribe drugs...unless, perhaps, in dire and extenuating circumstances.

As far as I know, the NMA is on strike for 7 reasons. Why is everyone focusing on the NMA and JOHESU thingy?

It is not pretending we are doctors by prescribing or diagnosing. It is doing what we are supposed to do when there is no doctor. We are trained to do it and we know where our scope of practice will be limited to. Nobody is pretending here and you contradicted yourself by writing "in dire and extenuating circumstances". Well in health centres that is the status quo.
Nurses have a lot to do instead of encroaching to other territory in tertiary hospital and that doesn't make us dumb. But the God complex of doctors will take a hit when they notice the legally sanctioned encroachments in their fields as they fought for financial gains.

Losing focus...doctors. Reasons so flimsy that it makes other health professionals to squirm with shame for our supposed coworkers. Doctors, your leaders are taking you people on a jolly ride, smashing your profession in the mud with these childish strikes.
Just a little law that will expand the scope of practice of others as done in other countries and everybody will be scampering to save their jobs....it is high time the government stop pampering doctors and they are really getting enough pressure to do so and it is yielding fruits. Make yourself special like be a neurosurgeon or cardiothoracic surgeon and the rest ......and you won't be fighting like other MBBS holders.

The guys here have a reason for telling you not to marry him while the women are telling you to forgive and go ahead for your sons sake. You mentioned that things have turned around for him now, is it what you are looking up to despite not loving him or you're desperate that no man will take you with your son or what?
What sort of feeling do you have for him now.....cos if you're feeling resentful towards him coupled with not loving him, it is a recipe for disaster. Seexx nko.
Please define your goals and if you're uncomfortable with him in the picture .....delete him fast. It is good to have all your kids from one man but your happiness matters:............. well it seems that both of you are each others fallback plan B.

It is the fear , guilt and sometimes you feel disgusted about the whole sex thing, it makes you to tense up tightening your vj muscles and all what not. Aside from any other likely cause of dysparenua : psyche going haywire is the most common cause of pain during sex. Some of my friends with strict upbringing have this problem; fear of being caught doing it or people knowing you are doing it or you don't feel comfortable with somebody going down there. Lighten up, after all it is your hubby and don't go about anticipating pain for fuccck sake it makes the slight pain you may feel on penetration worse. Have confident in yourself that you're not lousy, dirty or whatever and that you're performing your basic physiological needs according to Abraham Manslow, the great psychologist.

Where do you send husbands when they misbehave? Double standard
. Women even at 70-80 your husband can still send you back to your family.....so pathetic.
Women should start gaining financial, emotional and social independent from their man at least no right thinking idiotos will dream of sending you back to whomever like damaged goods just cos he feels like or believe it is necessary for him....

Do you really expect them to retrain the wife then send her back to you after the public disgrace. You acted before thinking, after dating a woman for two years then married for two years.....you're telling this bullshits. No issues right......cos it seems but of you are really fed up with each other to be shouting on the top of your voice at each conversation. She stays at home doing nothing....cos if she is a career lady bringing in the dough, you won't be sending her back to her parents for retraining or whatever, you only do that to leeches. Well Yerima, get another while you wait for the retrained wife.......unless you get enough money or the parents lack shame.....they ain't sending their daughter back to you.

I hate disgrace personally, so I've learnt self defense including a little karate . When I registered in a gym for weight reduction, I spent almost all my time boxing cos I know it will be useful in the near future. Women are too lax that any threat from any man to beat you ,you start cowering for shelter. I try my possible best to bridle my mouth but at times you need to shout, nag ,rant and all what nots. at least while doing that you know you can defend yourself very well.
The woman in question was wrong for ranting while the husband was driving and the husband also a tout for parking the.car just to beat his wife.

Hubby thought it is demeaning too until I started treating him as a visitor...
You know.....welcome him...show him the way to the kitchen ,toilet, bathrooms and his room..and even how I do everything in the house EVERY FUCCCKING DAY....just to drive home my points that he is merely a visitor that gives us pocket money and have sexxx with me .I Ignord his sorry ass.The treatment made him feels out of place in the house...you don't cook, clean, bath the kids even if they come for assistance with their classwork..you tell them...you're just coming back from work that they should meet their mother..who equally is also coming back and has been cooking , cleaning and washing since.
Running the house isn't all even from the man's pockets...but their ego will not allow them.
To feel involved again he has to start afresh to integrate himself into our lives . I can still feel the joy radiating from him when his son hugged and thank him for watching their school bags and helping them to clean their room.

Omo_Tier1:
Oh dear, you cannot claim to like Jesus and write these things you just said! No wonder the bible said this.... Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have BOLDNESS on the day of judgment! If your envisioned picture of Christ is not gotten from the bible, then perhaps, idolatry has set in.

What business do you or I have praying for the dead expect that we want to raise them to life again? If I speak words of prayers to the dead, of what purpose is it be it they are DEAD and gone? This shows you how warped what you have been believing really is! But to Christ Jesus we pray in His name because He Himself said we should and that is how the father will hear us when we speak to the Father. This is why when we set to pray, we go thus : Father in the name of Jesus. When we do so, it is as though Jesus himself was speaking to the father in our place.

Like I said, get you self a study bible. Take a day off work, set the bible at your dinning table, knee down and just say this prayer:
Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the wisdom that comes by your word and the understanding thereof through your Holy Spirit. As I read and study your word, I thank you, because my understanding is fruitful and I gain insight into your truth. Your word, abba father, says, through knowledge shall the just be delivered into their inheritance, I am grateful because Christ is my wisdom and knowledge even as I pray that you teach me your truth by your holy spirt as I study this morning like never before I ask in the name of Jesus.

Then meticulously begin to study John chapter 1 and walk your way through the reminder of the bible. I am sure your understanding will be fruitful and you will know truly the joy of the fellowship of the father by the Holy Ghost.
you don't get it. The same Idolatory and hell fire threat....I like Muhammad, mahatma gandh, Jesus..etc..studying them makes my life meaningful...so stop wasting your prayers.. people have a structured way of life ...accept them the way they are for peaceful coexistence.

If anyone can't think outside of the box here, its u, am nt d one who talks abt "bitheism or polytheism"...u are! and d reason u come to dis conclusion is because u wanna use ur human nature to explain God's. U actually can't picture a "God" with a nature u can't fully grasp! That's why u concluded with such earlier on! So stop rantin abt me believin d Bible, and I dnt care what Gandhi said, he meant nothin to me, if he likes let him hate Jesus and love his followers!

And again I accept the Bible wholly! from A-Z!
And u talking abt me accepting that not everythin that happened during the time of Jesus is in the Bible; this is not topic of debate. The Bible made it clear that it isn't exhaustive on the life of Jesus, so what ur point?

Typical Christian. Atheism is becoming more appealing as the days go by.
