Romance › Re: Share Your Most Emotional Moment Ever. by Mrscarter(f): 6:45am On Oct 31, 2020 |
Offpoint1: When I kneeled down and professed my love to my economics teacher back in S.S. The love note I wrote her was so powerful, she got all emotional and all the class applauded me. She drew me near to her, kiss on the forehead and said "Honestly, offpoint... I'm move by your words and boldness. You're a bright kid, I would love to be your woman if you were to be in my age group or older... It can't just work out dear. Focus on your studies, you'll find the right woman when the time is right" I left her present, sobbing and crying. She was so emotional and couldn't hold lecture for that day.
I still can't forget about her totally till date.
After that day, half of the girls were throwing themselves at me... But I was an awkwardly quiet kid who doesn't talk to one, I don't go for short or long break. If I ain't reading, I'm drawing super natural creatures. Lol. Awwww |
Romance › Re: Why Don't Girls Toast Boys They Admire by Mrscarter(f): 6:00am On Oct 31, 2020 |
pansophist: Because it is not in the nature of the female to chase the male. Male initiate, and the female respond. Also, women have a need to feel special, and chasing the male is an antithesis to it. Furthermore, the thing women fear comparable to death is rejection. The female did not evolved to be rejected, or that their desires not premiumed.
From an evolutionary standpoint, it is the female that selects the best male to mate with, and the male usually are accepting to the female as long as she is at her prime. Women knows this as well, and rejecting her romantic advances sends an intense bitter taste which makes her feel like she is not desirable anymore and her prime is coming to an end. She will feel defective and question her worth. Rhousand years of evolutionary psychology has hardwired this instinct in her to be intolerant to rejection, to a point where seeking to punish you for the rejection is common. Lol. You've put sum thought into that. I'm not afraid to tell someone if I liked them. everyone will get rejection at some point in life no matter how beautiful you are. It's just life. It's scary but it's not that bad lol U just move on. However sum girls are just shy n others think they are too good for it that the man should chase them. The latter being the most shallow of girls. |

loveth360: But why are you yorubas not talking about a wife leaving her husband when he fall sick.
Is she a good wife? She's not a gud wife if she left while he was really sick but nobody knows the circumstances. Maybe he wasn't that sick when she left, maybe they had reasons n he encouraged her to go n maybe he got really sick after she left. She did say she tried visiting him n tried to view his body n tried going to the funeral n was stopped. Either way no one knows the real truth. If he was sick n she left him alone then she don't deserve anything I agree on that but the kids should still inherit cos I'm sure the father would have loved his kids n not want them to suffer n I'm sure he'd not be happy his own brother n sister took everything from his kids, their own blood |

chronology: In a world were different events keep playing out by the day, who would believe that someone still practice cannibalism.
The reality of cannibalism still stare us at the face daily, this is evident in the recent actions of one United States based Boris Michaels, 44 years of age who during his life time had murdered and ate 13 persons between 2002 and 2006.
He was later sentenced to death in 2007 but the most disgusting this about this convict was the fact that he demanded for a 16 ounce steak of human flesh from a virgin girl as his last special meal before execution.
Who would believe that people like this still lives among men.
The devourer was later executed through lethal injection.
Thank God the warders turned down his request and later gave him a plate of rice with fried chicken which he rejected.

tobechi74: Cultist can sacrifice their life for another, something most church people will never do. The bond for each other is strong. That is one good thing about them.
As a new member, and poor fellow, you will be fed, free accomodations, etc. This is why people without hope are easily recruited.
It is not good ooo, but if we can be less individualistic and assist a helping hand to people, fewer people will join cult Yes thats true. It's sad cos cultism gets U nowhere in life. Alot die young or become killers, thieves. They should strive to be something their parents can be proud of. Only a fool joins gangs/cults |

LobsanRampa: She stated, “I travelled home to Ondo State to be with my mum when I was pregnant with my twin girls and by the time I returned to Abuja, my husband had been taken away to an unknown location, because he had a crisis. We were not allowed to see him until we were informed that he had died in August 2018."
Your husband was critically I'll and you travelled and leave him, then his siblings found out and took him for medication. Maybe he wasn't that sick when She left? Maybe he encouraged her to go? I guess no one knows but her n him. However his kids shouldn't have to beg |

MightySparrow: Igbo and weird customs I have witnessed two of such dealings with their own ladies. They are heartless. When my Landlady's daughter's husband died, the husband's siblings took her to the couple's bedroom, allowed her to take her clothes and jewelleries sent her and her children packing, and sized the husband's businesses. This lady is a Master degree holder. The husband would not allow her to work. God forbid any of my children bringing yamirin home for marriage. Wow. How can U do that to anyone when they're going thru loss n grief at that! I couldn't be so heartless. I would let them keep it all if was me n my brother. So a man's family only matters when he's alive? |

OkoNDOoBo: The last one that made the news happened in imo, this one in Ebonyi. If you re non-igbo girl that want to marry igbo man just have it back of your mind that in the event your husband dies, his property belongs to his family. Dont let anyone sugarcoat it for you. Even igbo ladies re not allowed to inherit their spouse or father property not to talk of non-igbo. I know two Igbo brothers that after their parents deaths gave the parents house to their younger sister n went off to make their own life. If U love your family then leaving them with nothing isn't what you do. |

loveth360: Yoruba and wickedness.
You abandoned your husband when he was sick, now you want to come and claim property.
Truth is her Children deserved to inherit their father properties, because what am seeing from this story is a typical yoruba gold digger who run away but want to come inherit property.
But why is she crying i thought yorubas also give landed properties to their women,Or is it their normal lying way. So the man would have wanted his family on the streets begging after his death? Wat I'm seeing is greedy siblings. I agree his children should atleast inherit and children need their mother |

This few greedy family giving Igbos bad name ...arrest them sue the living hell out of them I agree. The man would have loved his wife n children why should they suffer n beg after his death. |
