Verbes: Why the links to Nigeria now?I wonder. This guy was born and bred in saudi arabia and probably never visited nigeria except when he allegedly came in to plant the bomb. He is a saudi man and it`s wrong to state his nationality so mischievously to tarnish nigeria`s image. Anti-US sentiment is high in Saudi arabia because US is perceived as solely responsible for the continued hold on power by a corrupt and brutal monarchy - this explains why so many young saudis are invoved in activities to hit back at US. |
solomon111: This is just a tip of the iceberg of what will happen,if a northerner become president.so a northerner should never be president? |
This guy will be discharged by the court shortly. Quote me. |
Both boko haram and JTF constitute a menace to the ordinary people of Borno state who desire nothing but peace. May God help the people of Borno from the violence unleashed on them by boko haram and their partners in violence the JTF. Shekau is threatening Musa - let Boko haram and JTF settle it between themselves and leave the ordinary people out of it, though it's likely the army will hurriedly post Musa out of the hot zone because boko haram doesn't just make empty boast. |
Eze Promoe: Just got a call this morning that two of my relatives were injured by the blast but who do I vent my anger on? Shoemakers? Nail cutters? Toy wristwatch sellers?A very reasonable attitude. May God console you, bro. Venting your anger on those you call aboki would hav been a most despicable and evil act, because those poor shoemakers, nail cutters and toy wristwatch sellers hav nothing to do with the unfortunate killing of your relatives. |
Nigeria does not have a police service; what we have is a police force. Our police lack proper training and discipline to engender public confidence. With a ragtag force like that it's better to stay your distance from them. |
Congratulations. But let the tory no get bore leg later o because many fake miracle births have been recorded in this our naija before ( remember stolen babies?) |
danjohn: I personally think that the ticket should be Buhari / Fashola; however there will be many people who would complain about the Muslim / Muslim issue. Thus my second choice for now is Buhari / Okorocha. The only caveat is that the ticket must have the full and unequivocal support of Tinubu and Fashola. You are just theorising. Elections in nigeria have never been free and fair. The biggest rigger is just declared winner by a compromised INEC and the "victory" endorsed by a corrupt judiciary. This is likely to be repeated in 2015 - but if this happens, I'm afraid, it will be followed by unprecendented catastrophe. |
HAH: Gurriella war and insurgency has never been crushed, that is why Afghanistan is still at war after 12 years of Nato presence, that is why the Iraq war is still on after 10 year, that is why the FARC rebels of columbia still sway now they are having a dialogue. On point. But Gej and his defence chiefs are not interested now, not with one trillion naira defence budget to blow. They say boko haram want to die, but the GOCs are sending poor other rank to be killed by BH boys or to kill ordinary folks in retaliation for their casualities. We are waiting, come 2014 GEJ will be in north east talking amnesty - what else will he campaign with after all? |
Allegation. Let distinguish senators and hon. members admit or deny it. |
How would people go for medical check-up when they can go to some "men of god" who will just lay hand on them when they are ill and presto! they are healed. Who cares about hospital when instant cure is available from ubiquitous "men of god"? |
liyalla: alow Bayelsa to run its crud for one year and lets see if in 2weeks this so called debt is not off their back...13 billion monthly is stolen. If it increases the thieves will still be at work. Niger deltan leaders are the ones impoverishing their region, but keep deceiving their poverty stricken people with north bashing. Left to themselves these bare faced liars will set upon themselves. |
martin1772: I wonder when all these fightin and destroyin of properties will stop, na there we dey shaThe problem is that across nigeria govts hardly respond to peaceful, civilized demands, so people see violence as the alternative to getting their voices heard! |
If GEJ has a large heart as some1 has posted, he should just grant clemency/pardon to every single person that has been convicted, not this disgraceful selective trash coming from him. As for Bello Mogaji, I wonder what nigerians make of his pardon. This man as an army officer was using a soldier to lure secondary school boys to his residence. He would offer them a drink laced with drug and sodomize his victims while intoxicated. And the eediot at the time had two wives. Sodomizing children after drugging them - does this man deserve the pardon? |
The committee itself will be relying on rumours in order to catch rumour-mongers. So who is fooling who? |
SamConquer: Proudly ChristainChristain! This one doesn't even know what he is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
ezedolar: That is kind of news we want to hear not when JTF kill only 20 Boko boys instead of killing all of them and that thing they believe inThis is the kind of comment that comes from a brainless subhuman. You want to hear JTF kill, kill, and kill. Countless innocent people hav been massacred by ogogoro + weed intoxicated JTF men and you are jubilating. Today you preach terror, 2moro you too may be victim of state terrorism. |
The man is brainwashed by his religion, whose priests are wont to declare the weak and vulnerable as witches. |
eldoradoxx: All over the world worst criminals than Alamieseghia are pardoned for even worst offences than corruption. U see, advanced democracies do not put there rich and powerful men in prison or tag them "ex convicts". Because it is better for the country and economy that these men are left free to help the political and economic process. Imagine what Nigeria stands to loose in jailing a Dangote or Adenuga or Ifeanyi Uba or Otedola or Cosmos Maduka etc. Just name them. Alamieseghia has been a major factor in the amnesty issue and the relative stability in Niger Delta today. During his travail was when the militancy went to the highest level dropping oil production to mere 700 thousand barrels. While he was Governor, he knew all the militants, he had their confidence, he visited them at their hideouts far inside the creeks without any security details. Secured release of white hostages etc. Out of office, he stil has great relevance in stability in Niger Delta as a whole. So if his price is mere presidential pardon, I don't think its too expensive. It has always been my firm bbelieve that even in America, Britain etc , as holy and corrupt free as they want us to believe, some criminals are stil left unarrested, some people stil walk free with serious offencesn some people are stil granted state pardon for murder because exigencies of the moment dictates so. so atimes political cum economic exigencies do occur that can force a leader take critical decisions that re unpopular but for the interest of us all in the long run. I love AlamsWe have known all along that Alamieseghia & co were/are the ones behind niger delta terrorists. All this talk of Alamieseghia being a good guy is all bunkum. |
rman: Sports with proper education is the best combination.I suppose u mean if he were not educated. A person doesnt have to be a university graduate to be educated - eg obasanjo, jacob zuma, Bill gates, former British PM james callaghan who's formal schooling ended at age 13, etc |
ITbomb: Why should he be the ' First to comment ' about his appointment to FIFA. Kinda blowing his trumpet alone.Haba,bros. The news is straight from the horse's mouth and u are talking mainstream headlines!!! Your so-called mainstream headlines sometimes carry a story and retract it. |
Enitsua: isn't a poem supposed to have ryhme, everybody can come up with this but not everybody can put it into a ryhme...try to ryme and see more appreciation.ryhme? 3x in a row - too many to pass as typing error. |
jaykai24: What about those in prison without trial? I believe when u get to kirikiri, their re lots of innocent ppl dying in jail without trial.Sorry, govt doesn't pardon petty criminals; state pardon is for VIP criminals. |
Dibiachukwu: Don't make me laughLaugh aplenty, but truth is constant. |
People need to be reminded that the prophet Muhammad has said that for every disease, Allah has created a cure for it. And since over 1600 years ago Allah has told mankind about the healing power of honey - these are the infallible words of the Almighty in Quran 16:68,69 - "And your Lord revealed to the bee saying: Make hives in the mountains and in the trees and in what they build: Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]. There emerges from their bellies a drink [honey], varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who reflect." For years now an islamic scholar in kano has been claiming that he could and has cured people infected with HIV using just honey and verses from the Quran. He is now vindicated. |
Bobandgreat: You think u are being smart by ascribing a name to somebody - only a dunce will do that. If a person thinks not with his brain he will be posting thrash as evidenced from yours. It's only in your area that elders speak without integrity. The so-called elders of your area saying kill, kill, and kill must be dunderheads to speak about something they know nothing about- Gej says boko haram are facelsee & unknown. That's true and that is why frustrated jtf men, high on burukutu, ogogoro and weed, are killing innocent people almost daily and announcing the opposite to deceive people like u. Gej is being misled but it is high time he listened to wise counsel from the north. |
Fighting boko haram is now a money-making venture. One trillion naira!!! The double standard is criminal - you shake hands with niger delta terrorists who declared war on the country and now playing the hypocrite. But the shenanigan will end shortly- let's await his campaign trip to Borno and Yobe in 2014 - he will eat his word. Squandering one trillion. Just like that. A third of that money spent prudently in NE will end the poverty and deprivation. The elders hav spoken, let Gej listen to wise counsel. |
CHESSBOARD: I am shocked, I tot this allegation was tabled against the North, How come Yorubas are crying more than the bereaved, always betraying the other southerners, very soon the North will use u guys for Suya watch outYou should be ashamed of urself. Senator Enang set out to mislead brainless people like you and you are blaming a courageous lawyer for educating you by exposing the lie by Enang. |
DrKlever: calling you a fool will be an insult to foolish people. but im nt surprised at your comment cuz i just checked and noticed your name is musa. what do we expect from a dumb ass like you from the north. oloriburuku. omo esuyou are confirming to one million plus nairalanders ur abysmal IQ. |
Sincere 9gerian: And some Borno elderly fools were calling for withdrawal of JTF? Smh!what impudence. You call elders of borno fools. What do u think u are? These elders are indigenes of borno and live with the people. They have given gej candid advice but he is for now more interested in blowing the one trillion naira defence budget. This same gej will go to borno next year talking negotiation and peace because he want borno votes for a doomed attempt to cling to office . Borno elders kudos and God bless for ur courage and wise counsel. |
holuwashezy: don't rejoice yet, coz dey might revenge. dat is advice for u. Good of uAfter one year of occupation of Maiduguri by JTF boko harm still have so much arms in their possession? |
To add to what I've said, boko haram goes abt killing health workers. We all know the ratio of health workers to the population is begging for attention. Which health worker would be willing to work up north? I don't apply to jobs up north because I can't go there even for a monthly pay of a million bucks. I study an infrastructure related course. I blame the northerners and their whole society for allowing such a thing to thrive. Assuming they had resisted it, they would be no boko haram. Boko haram's intention is clearly for Nigeria to break. This is a political war and not a religious one. It's just hidden under the cloak of religion.
I wonder what stuff is in your skull. How would northerners stop boko haram? Accusing northerners of allowing boko haram to thrive is akin to accusing SE and SS of allowing armed robbery, kidnapping and ritual killings to hold sway in thier region. National security is the responsibility of FG but Gej and his security chiefs are only interested in squandering the one trillion naira defence budget. |
