Islam › Re: Reasons For The Forbidance Of Celebrating The Prophet Birthday By Shaykh Salih F by mu2sa2: 11:54am On Jan 24, 2013
That one innovation leads to another is evident in mawlud celebration- it's not just about remembering the birth of the prophet quietly, but it's now "eid". In the first place mawlud should not even be an issue, after all celebrating birthday is not an islamic tradition (not even in our local culture). I dont understand why some people are arguing now that mawlud is sunnah. The prophets admonition is, leave what you are in doubt for what you are not in doubt:since opinion is divided on mawlud celebration, the best course is to treat the celebration as doubtful and follow the words of rasul.
Health › Re: Mouth Swab As A Method Of Testing For DNA ( Pls Its Urgent ) by mu2sa2: 9:49pm On Jan 23, 2013
@p why did u go into prying into ur life? U are now in a dilemma. The DNA test is subject to error, as any human invention. I would rather u disregard the result and let ur dad remain ur dad. If not, u risk making both ur mum and dad ur enemies - ur dad for not being ur real dad, and mum for her waywardness culminating in conceiving a bastard. Would u now disown the man u hav always regarded as father? Islamic law is specific on this, in that a child's paternity is attributed to the husband if the wife remains married to him for more than six months prior to his birth - excellent.

wesley8: I'm of the opinion that Oritsejafor has sounded a tad too confrontational over the BH issue but I TOTALLY agree with your assertion. This move by the Catholic church is illinformed and their excuses totally disgraceful. There are better ways to manage divisions within the church and the Church MUST NEVER be subjected to such open ridicule. Once again, THIS IS DISGRACEFUL.
Freedom of association is guaranteed under the Nigerian Constitution. Catholic church dont want to associate with Oritsejafor. Shikena. What is disgraceful about that?

Jonathan went round nigeria during electioneering highlighting the problems and promising to solve them all. No where did he say he didnt cause the problems. By the way, which time are u talking about? What time does he need to start fighting corruption? Or declare his asset? etc
That guy killed a lot of people both politicians and causing deaths to the commons.Continue to rot in hell.
Do u own hell? Why vilify Abacha? Abacha was a saint compared to the politicians of today. As a firm leader Abacha ensured stability and security of the whole country. Tribalists and fake democrats who plotted to kill him ended up getting a dose of their own medicine. May God accept him among His favoured servants.
Politics › Re: Pictures Of Maryam & Sani Abacha by mu2sa2:
J12: Why aren't they kissing?
They dont have to. By the way, is it by kissing before the camera that u prove ur affection to ur wife? Abacha remained married to maryam until his death- these days couples kiss and hold hands in public just for show and their marriage collapse in no time.

salt 1: If the killer claims he killed for his belief, yes I'll blame xtianity. I still blame the brand of xtianity that produced Rev King and also the brand that causes children to be labelled as witches.
How many brands of xtianity do u hav? If a xtian does a despicable act u blame his "brand" of xtianity, not ur own "brand" - shei na cleverness bi that?

Beretta92: listen to yourself.d same bh dat has wasted hundreds of human lives cannot kill hunters who sell pork? D fact dat u'r a muslim doesnt mean u shud defend them in anyway.bh are animals, they'l kill anything dat goes against their brand of islam.dat's d only panacea they know.
Your islamaphobia has blinded u completely. By your warped thinking if a robber or kidnapper kills his victim, u blame xtianity if the killer is a xtian.
Politics › Re: Boko-Haram Attack In Damboa , 12 Dead by mu2sa2: 7:31pm On Jan 22, 2013
Senseless killings in NE, but this one does not bear the hallmark of boko haram. The story is even suspect- do hunters sell pork? We know muslims(and jews) dont eat pork but nowhere is it said that u kill anyone for eating pig meat. This killing is most likely not linked to BH activities.

Politics › Re: Realistic Options For Opposition Presidency In 2015? by mu2sa2: 1:04pm On Jan 21, 2013
All the analyses posted assume there was an election in 2011. But there was none, what we had was rigging. The planned acn/cpc/anpp merger will easily defeat pdp in a free and fair election. Let's hope that in 2015 we dont have a repeat of what we are used to - Billions change hand; INEC declares pdp as winner and tell off the losers to go tribunal; at the tribunal the judges simply rubber stamp the shenanigan with "the election was in substnatial compliance with electoral law." Shikena

Politics › Re: Gunmen Attack Emir Of Kano's Convoy? by mu2sa2: 5:23pm On Jan 19, 2013
chuks49: Boko Haram must have very strong presence in Kano for them to be carrying out these kind of operation without hindrance.
bh volunteers, supporters and sypathizers run into hundreds of thousands and are everywhere in d NE,NW & NC. The biggest security challenge is that this multitude of people hav got nothing to lose and see the attack on state symbols as heroic deed. Bh is only using islam as fascade, beneath the crises is deep social discontent fuelled by mass poverty.

onyeka205: Underdevelopment of the north is not the reason for the insurgence. Afterall, the north ruled for over 30 years without developing there region and there was no insurgence. Was the underdevelopment of the north caused by the present regime or was it underdeveloped before the present regime came on board? the insurgence is a calculated attempt to dislodge the present regime. Even if the present regime channels all the nation's resources to the north, there would still be insurgence.
whether this govt is responsible for underdevelopment or not it has d capacity to alleviate d problem otherwise we risk seeing more challenges from poverty sricken people who hav nothing to lose from causing chaos.
Politics › Re: What Have Niger Delta States Achieved So Far? by mu2sa2: 2:17pm On Jan 19, 2013
Niger deltans hav for long been deceived by their own leaders. While the shameless leaders stash away billions of naira, thye hoodwink their people with resource control balderdash. Tell me, if they are given all the revenue accruing from oil, is it not the same corrupt, criminal leaders that will divert the money to their private bank accounts. These criminals see the terrible poverty in the niger delta, yet they still continue to steal all the billions allocated monthly to the states and lgs. God punish the wicked. Take Bayelsa, all its governors from 1999 to date should be held accountable for its underdevelopment. Everyone of them and in the case of Gej including his wife, who was indicted by EFFC for laundering 100 million naira (on the verge of being charged then her husband became VP and silence followed).
Politics › Re: Boko-Haram Leader Shekau Found In Mali by mu2sa2: 1:28pm On Jan 19, 2013
Napolitano: Too many names as head of the Boko Haram. Till date, none captured that can sufficiently lead to ending the sect.
The security forces have killed thousands of people in Borno and Yobo states and are detaining 000s. But the violence can not end by killing thousands or millions of people unless the social and economic issues underlying the crisis are addressed. Only a mumu will say that killing Shekau and his Shura council will end bh when its 000s of supporters and sympathizers are still around and scattered across the NE,NC & NW. If the one trillion naira defence budget they are pocketing now were spent on the development of those areas, boko haram would hav died naturally. But those controlling the slush fund want the party to last forever. All this crap about capturing this or that person or ending the violence is bullshi.t as long as the money keeps flowing for "security." God save Nigeria from its greedy , wicked and selfish leaders.

Yomieluv: Our securities outfit sef, what's the purpose of announcing his whereabout to the public? This is a highly sensitive case, measures should be taken to arrest him, rather than playing to the gallery.
If you believe this story u can believe anything. They said two killed and the remaining three people in the vehicle including Shekau were wounded but all three escaped. Haba, how can persons shot by high-calibre guns still drive and escape soldiers waiting for them. Only a mor/on will believe this crap. If they want nigerians to support the sending of our soldiers to fight and die in the Malian desert, they should have spun a more intelligent yarn.

ItsModella: So the postal service still exists? wow!!
Yes NIPOST is still existing and even more efficient; in fact their EMS courier is very reliable. NIPOST is about the only fg parastatal that delivers quality service even better than what u get from some private courier companies.
My fear for the pensioners is that GEJ govt may come out to blame the problem on past govts and itself do nothing to pay these elderly people.

Did you know some people are going through a trying time now because of the death of this people?
People are grieving and you are here talking about Legal right.
Too much primitive Cattle rearing destroys the brain.
Who is the M.O.R.O.N now? Freedom of speech is guaranteed under the nigerian constitution. The Americans we claim we are copying exercise their freedom of speech fully, that is why u find a whole movement comprising respected professionals even to this day saying the 9/11 downing of the twin towers of the world trade was a US govt conspiracy. And nobody insults them as u people are doing on NL because Sheikh Gumi spoke his mind - some good christians are even suggesting he should be murdered!

God bless u for ur post. A man says his mind in simple hausa, making an innocuous statement to a particular audience. Somebody renders his statement into english, twisting the meaning to cause chaos. And see what is happening on NL!

Thank God we both agree on that point

In your opinion Allah killed yakowa and the muslims with him and made their wives widows and children orphans to prevent a Christian governor in Kaduna
IMO God didnt. it was the work of the enemy

Somehow Allah also forgot that the chopper was also carrying two Muslims including the pilot
When a person dies muslims say Allah gives life and takes it at will. That's the difference between muslims and people of your ilk, who will blame demons, witches, evil spirits, which they in reality worship, for the death.

Hmmm....Stepped into the shoes of his late Father.
His late father was a man of peace. So also is Sheikh Gumi. With his background as a former officer in the nigerian army, Sheikh Gumi is never an advocate of violence. What he said about yakowa and Aziza "plot" is a matter of evidence- he may hav his sources even in the army, his former constituency. Those hurling insults at him here on NL don't know the xtent to which Yakowa was preparing to go to secure a second term in office. God took him away for peace to reign in kaduna, so some people believe. Meanwhile the insult peddlers on NL are having a go at the Sheikh, but none is refuting what he said - hypocrites.

"Relationship", what's that? Five years of your life committing the unspeakable with a man without getting anywhere. You then move to another man. You are now asking to go back to your fornicative life with the former man. You try. Look, bring no religion into it as long as you are in it for illicit sex.
