God speaks to me through the Holy Spirit: When I am praying, he speaks into my heart and directs my prayers. When I am meditating on the word of God , he gives me understanding, even of things that I never knew.
God speaks to me through other people: I listen to them (pastors, preachers, prophets, friends, nairalanders etc), search the word of God and the Holy Spirit also confirms it if its is truth.
God speaks to me in my dreams: He reveals things about the present and the future to me in my dreams.

Apart from in my dreams where messages are audible and visual and could be direct or symbolic, God's messages come to me in the form of instant revelation. I do not hear a voice, they come like thoughts and I just suddenly know. I usually ask God to confirm his word if I am not sure it is him speaking: The words/message will be spoken by another person within 3 days. I ask questions and get immediate answers. Sometimes, I don't get the answers immediately but they come later.[/b]

Thats the normal trash that u are used to. This is NL moderated by individuals(not 'god') in order to ensure that uncivilized folks like u are routinely checked. Funny that the Christians here have deliberately avoided this thread.  Be rest assured that those who may still contribute will only find a way to shift focus to the O.P's "motive", and will derail the thread altogether.  And this is a part of the reasons why I quit Christianity.  I just cannot afford to belong to a belief system that I won't be able to defend 100%; a religion where I'll constantly feel ashamed reading about so many despicable things in my so-called holy book.  I honestly don't understand how you guys (christians) manage to wave these things off and still be at peace with your conscience.
