resurgent2019: Arrrrrrghh. I don’t support that oo. What the US needs to do is make a categorical statement that they don’t want Nigerians in their country again. It is a very simple matter. And it is better than robbing people of their hard earned application fees.
We know Nigeria has failed, maybe that’s why Nigerians are being rejected worldwide. The structural problems of the country has to be tackled at some point. We cannot keep being afraid of the violence of the northerners. If southerners can’t leave this failed contraption, we might as well face the notherners war for war and repossess our country. 1,000,000 Gbosas for you! |

Health › Re: 10 Reasons For Male Infertility In Nigeria by murmee: 7:59pm On Jul 27, 2018 |
Keeping Mobile Phone in Pocket ( too late, most had 3 phones in their pockets for 7 consecutive years )
A finding by some researchers at the University of Exeter England released earlier this June shows that keeping mobile phone in the pocket could affect sperm quality. They found out that exposure to cell phone radiation lowers sperm motility by 8% and viability by 9%. This finding is still a controversial one but it would be safer to keep away mobile phones from the pocket as much as possible. Radiationresearch.org gave the following recommendations in their save-the-males campaign:
Keep your mobile phone out of your trouser pocket
· Do not text holding your phone at waist level
· Limit your daily use
· Switch it off at night (or as much as possible)
Heavy Drinking
It is said that alcohol affects the body’s ability to absorb zinc which is a nutrient vital for healthy sperm. It’s still unclear what quantity of alcohol is bad but it’s advisable to stay away from it as much as possible, especially heavy drinking.
Oxidative Stress
Another thing that can cause male infertility is oxidative stress. This is linked to lifestyle factors such as obesity, diet, pollutants, smoking and alcohol. Taking antioxidant supplements such as vitamin E, vitamin C, folic acid etc. is said to increase fertility.
Poor Diet
Diet should be holistic. A healthy diet will help maintain a healthy sperm count and an poor diet otherwise. It is advisable that one eats foods that will guarantee the general health of the body.( stop eating akpu and Amala without meat, poverty is bad wallahi)
Excessive Exercise
Exercise is good for the body but its excess especially when it is combined with body building steroids can decrease the production of testosterone and thereby lower sperm count.
Frequent Sex ( some already wasted all their babies at NYSC camp)
Too much sex can decrease the quality of sperm cells. It is advised that couples wishing to conceive should limit intercourse to every two or three days.
Exposure To Heat
Heat from laptops, wearing tight underpants and other things that could increase the temperature around the testicles could cause low sperm count. As much as possible, it is advised that the general crotch area should be kept cool. ( some have fried their spermatozoa like dodo since)
Untreated Infection
When STIs are not treated on time, it could result in infertility. Chlamydia infection, Gonorrhoea, Mumps etc can affect fertility and even cause sterility.
Exposure to Pesticides and other Chemicals
It has been found that exposure to pesticides and other harmful chemicals can affect sperm quality and quantity. Agricultural workers and fumigators in Nigeria need to be mindful of this. Some other chemicals like paints, adhesives and coatings have also been found to double the risk of fertility problems. Men working with chemicals are therefore advised to wear the appropriate protective gear and reduce their exposure to the chemicals as much as possible.
Doping
Sniffing drugs like cocaine and cannabis can impair fertility in males. It is said that “cannabis seems to have a dramatic effect on sperm, making them swim too fast and “burn out” before they reach the egg”. Some prescribed drugs can also affect fertility; it is advised that a man seeking to conceive should consult the doctor before taking any drug.
Other things that could cause male infertility include stress, ageing, radiation (x-rays, radiotherapy etc.), and excessive weight. With this understanding, it would be wise for Nigerian men especially those seeking offspring to take note of the things that could be responsible for infertility so that they can play their part in making sure they also reproduce in life. It may not be a jinx or spell or lack of God’s favour that is causing infertility; it may just be personal negligence and ignorance. The following healthy practices are suggested by infertilitynigeria..com for any man having problem with infertility:

mknigeriagreat: We need CCTVs on our streets God knows. Imagine a control room where they are watching every pedestrians on their screens and the moment you do something criminal like this, they alert the next police vehicle around there with your pictures. Even if they can't arrest them immediately, their pictures should be shared with price tag on who can lead police to them. Fines and bail money realized from all these can be used to manage the system and pay the staff and even who knows might be a means of generating funds for the government. If the CCTV cameras are visible, they will also be vandalised. |

tstx: So you think.... The only reason GEJ lost was because he really didn't want a win. PMB is not like GEJ, he is power crazed. To win the only thing he need do is rig the life out of the election.. Which is as simple as ABC because he is an incumbent president... Whether we like it or not... no matter how hard we pray... no matter how we the citizens cry out to God.. Buhari will win 2019 election
Even our pastors will prophesy in his favour because they know the truth... Just watch and see . That was how I told my brother in law (a Professor at OAU) that Fayemi will win the Ekiti Governorship election. I told him so about a week to the elections but he did not believe me. What my in law does not realise is that elections in Nigeria is not academic based where 2+2 equals 4. The truth is that in Nigeria's elections 2+2 can equal 0 or equal 22! |

Paentera: NERC's MAP regulation commenced on April 3rd after being signed on March 28, 2018. It was originally expected to kick off on July 3 after a no objection given to the registered MAPs. The whole exercise was expected to be concluded within 120 days from April 3 as MAPs are expected to sign MOU with DISCOs to start installing meters for their customers.
Unfortunately, by the time the No Objection was given to the MAPs in June, 77 days had lapsed so DISCOs & MAPs requested an extension and were granted until October 2, 2018 for the exercise to commence. I am appealing to everyone to take note of October 2, 2018. Let's see what they will come up with again! |

I have always known that the Meter Assets Providers (MAP) thing is a fluke. The major enemy of Electricity Consumers is NERC. If NERC wants MAP to work, it will work.
The Agency first said that MAP will start in April. The date suddenly shifted to September. Right now, they are not saying anything again.
NERC is a highly corrupt agency. They are not on the side of Electricity consumers at all. NERC is working for the DISCOS! |

junkiesneverdie: They will Say Lagos is Working... lol Lagos (State) is working. The Mile two to Tin Can to Apapa is a Federal road. The road would not have been in the terrible state it is now if it were a Lagos State road. One of the reasons people are clamouring for restructuring is to allow states take over and be responsible for all the roads in their territory. The very bad Lagos-Badagry route, especially from Okokomaiko is also a Federal road. It is now worse than the Apapa road. I really pity people who have no choice than to ply that road on daily basis. |

UCyril: must u type rubbish here. If a policy is in place whereby Trucks and Tankers are checked for Auto Mechanical wellness as in functionality of the brakes, lights, tyres, mirrors etc before they get onto the roads especially after Loading, some of these accidents might have been prevented. This is definitely the job of the FRSC since the VIO is no longer functioning. I still strongly believe that Trucks and Tankers are not supposed to be moving in day time. They should move at night from 11pm or 12am when the roads are less congested. TheTankers and Trucks shoud be escorted by Armed Military personnel. In more organized countries, goods and petrol are moved by trains to avoid any collision with private and other vehicles conveying human beings. This type of humongous accidents must not continue to happen! |
