Arewa soldiers proliferated too many states and local government areas in the northern region. The political structure gave the northern region excess political and economic powers. Resources from the south go more to the northern states and local government areas, the southern states starve and their politicians look on the northern politicians for ways forward.
This is unfair.
Land mass or population figures is never used as yardstick to create new political units in a country formed by different nations/ regions. Nigeria's political structure is a monumental fraud.

That's right. The amount of money Dieziane is keeping in London for PDP members can pay for more than half of Nigeria's foreign debts. The other monies statched away in overseas banks by other PDP party men can pay the rest of the debts!

Northerners are not stupid politically. They know that if they don't shift power to the South, there will be unrest in Nigeria. The Niger Delta will start to boil again. The agitation for Biafra and Oodua Nations will be rekindled more than ever before. Nigeria will become ungovernable. There will be shouts of Restructuring in all parts of Nigeria and the diaspora. I am sure the North will not want that to happen. The sensible thing is to allow the South to have it's turn!

That will not happen. The way the Jonathan Government treated the Yorubas has made it impossible for an average Yoruba person to vote for an IBO President. Please compare the all inclusive Administration of OBJ where most of the Ministers were Ibos to that of GEJ where the Yorubas were treated like outsiders. Adebanjo cannot influence anything. He has only one vote. This is payback time!

That Obasanjo was trying to please the North is a fact. He didn't want to offend the North for whatever reasons best known to him. What if it is a block of flats and the stubborn tenant is in the middle floor? Some are saying the landlord should cut water and electricity. What then happens to other tenants in the house that are not owing rent? Are they going to suffer for someone else's offense?

It is about time Nigeria adopts the system of house rentals as is done in advanced countries whereby tenants renew their rents every 6 months or every year.
It goes without saying that if you fail to renew your rent, you will have to pack out. Courts are not involved at all!

When I read the posts of some people suggesting that you get your brother another accommodation, I just laughed.

See, if your wife and your brother are attracted to each other, separate accommodations will not stop the affairs. Infact, it may even make it sweeter because neighbors will not easily suspect anything when your brother comes visiting.

But if your wife is disciplined and has respect for you, she will not encourage that sort of affair!
