Cmanforall: Interesting....
They want to push Jonathan to become president, so after 4 years, another northerner can become president since Goodluck can only go for 1 term, and his vice will most likely be a northerner.
These guys can play Nigerians That is the whole game plan. The Fulanis cannot imagine a life out of power for 8 years. So since there's someone they can use as a stop-gap for 4 years, they want to go for it. The game plan will certainly not work! |

onuman: Atiku promise-: Constitution review to devolve powers to the states and local governments.
He has stepped down from earlier promise of political restructuring to mere devolution of powers to the states and local governments. Arewa soldiers proliferated too many states and local government areas in the northern region. The political structure gave the northern region excess political and economic powers. Resources from the south go more to the northern states and local government areas, the southern states starve and their politicians look on the northern politicians for ways forward. This is unfair. Land mass or population figures is never used as yardstick to create new political units in a country formed by different nations/ regions. Nigeria's political structure is a monumental fraud. Applauded! |

Minjim: It's a daunting task..
Osinbajo is loved by the people and TInubu is loved by the power brokers. I don't see Osinbajo winning the primary without Tinubu stepping aside and supporting him. Tinubu has to many political foot soldiers that has been on his payroll since time immemorial. And they cut across regions.
I wish the aim of he meeting is to call on Tinubu to step aside and let Osinbajo contest. Basically in health reasons. Those northerners frolicking around him know that he can't spend 8 years b4 disaster may struck, then power returns to the North again Let everyone take note of Minjin's post. It makes a lot of sense! |

Northerners are not stupid politically. They know that if they don't shift power to the South, there will be unrest in Nigeria. The Niger Delta will start to boil again. The agitation for Biafra and Oodua Nations will be rekindled more than ever before. Nigeria will become ungovernable. There will be shouts of Restructuring in all parts of Nigeria and the diaspora. I am sure the North will not want that to happen. The sensible thing is to allow the South to have it's turn! |

The way the Jonathan Government treated the Yorubas has made it impossible for an average Yoruba person to vote for an IBO President. Please compare the all inclusive Administration of OBJ where most of the Ministers were Ibos to that of GEJ where the Yorubas were treated like outsiders. Adebanjo cannot influence anything. He has only one vote. This is payback time! |

Rayjnr: Yes all what you said is correct but about the issue adesina raised is it not true , Yes we know buhari Is a failure obj had the greatest opportunity to correct so many wrongs of the military but he was busy trying to please the north, that's a fact. That Obasanjo was trying to please the North is a fact. He didn't want to offend the North for whatever reasons best known to him. So what Nigeria really needs now is someone who can call the bluff of the North and I seriously believe that the point to critically start that is to RESTRUCTURE the country! |

lomprico: Go and remove the roof of the apartment All of you advising that the landlord should remove roof without knowing the design of the house. What if it is a block of flats and the stubborn tenant is in the middle floor? Some are saying the landlord should cut water and electricity. What then happens to other tenants in the house that are not owing rent? Are they going to suffer for someone else's offense? It is about time Nigeria adopts the system of house rentals as is done in advanced countries whereby tenants renew their rents every 6 months or every year. It goes without saying that if you fail to renew your rent, you will have to pack out. Courts are not involved at all! |

frozen70: Your wife is the issue here not your cousin
If your wife is decent and you trust her with your last breath, you don't need to panic
If she wants to sleep with another man, she will do so even while you are leaving in Nigeria
So even if you get a room self contain for your cousin to pack out, they will meet when they want to meet
So, just talk to your wife by advising her and that's all
Who go cheat go cheat When I read the posts of some people suggesting that you get your brother another accommodation, I just laughed. See, if your wife and your brother are attracted to each other, separate accommodations will not stop the affairs. Infact, it may even make it sweeter because neighbors will not easily suspect anything when your brother comes visiting. But if your wife is disciplined and has respect for you, she will not encourage that sort of affair! |
