Oga Ambode your propaganda is not adding up. Go and recook your story. Ambode did not appoint him. Sanwo-Olu was appointed by Tinubu and he continued to work for Fashola and the present Governor. That should tell you something! |

insperyadyou: Honestly, this Ambode is not strong-willed. To deal with Tinubu, you must act like Fashola the former governor. When Fashola told Tinubu that "with or without him" he was going to win the second term, Tinubu knew Fashola was a no-nonsense man. To avoid humiliation later, Tinubu went ahead to endorse him publicly. As if that was not enough, Tinubu never wanted Fashola to be Minister but Fashola still became. Fashola was very dogged and believed this Lagos is not only for Tinubu. But Ambode is too humble and Loyal. They know his "Achilles heel". They are saying what can he do, Mr weakling. For crying out Loud, Ambode, you are still the number one in Lagos, an incumbent at that. Summon up courage and tell Tinubu even if it means by action that "with or without you, I am not stepping down". All the security and mercenaries are still at your disposal. Many people from all the ethnic tribes resident in Lagos still like you. At worst, you move to another party unless they can convince the whole Lagosians what crimes against humanity you have committed. They first of all threatened him with Direct primaries, after begging severally, the Governor summoned courage and said he is ready to go along with their primaries. The next thing we are hearing is that the Party wants him to step down or face impeachment. Why! |

Even if he contests under APC in Lagos, he'll be beaten. If that is the case, why is the Lagos APC asking him to step down? The Governor said he is ready for the Primaries. Let him contest and allow the whole world to see whether or not he would be beaten! |

AFONJACOW: one man ruling entire Yoruba land with iron fist despite their Sophistication .... Afonja are weaklings Which Yoruba land are you talking about? Does Tinubu have any power in Ondo state? What is his power in Ogun state where you have Obasanjo and Amosun? Did Tinubu has any say or influence in Oyo state when Baba Adedibu was alive? And even now, he does not call the shots there. For your information, it was the entire APC party structure (especially Abuja) that campaigned for Fayemi and made sure he won the Ekiti elections. Tinubu's kingdom is only Lagos and even that will soon come to an end! |

Stop trying to blame Igbo people for Ambodes downfall They have nothing to do with ..Just 5 weeks Ago Ambode was still the pride of Yoruba land Ambode is still the PRIDE of Yoruba land! We Christians have mapped out ways to marginalize our Muslim counterparts and it's a very dangerous template for the unity of the country. I sympathize with every muslim who has been a victim of persecution from the policies of we Christians. I'm one of the few honest Christians who will never shy away from the truth. Muslim right is been stepped upon by we Christians and sometimes i wonder the conspiracy going on in the minds of we so called Christians. BabaAduras: If South West murdered Democracy on the altar of tribalism, the question is when? Was it in 2011 when the whole south-west voted for GEJ who is from South South or in 2015 when South West voted for PMB who is from the North? Was it in 2003 when South West voted against OBJ who is from South West?
South West do not vote on tribalism like East, South South or the North. We are the most educated of all Nigerian geographical regions and we vote base on what Contestants present on Polity and Issues.
I lived in Bonny-Island in the past. I was not allowed to vote in Finima during the 2015 elections because I am from South West. What do you call that? Upholding Democracy?
Think before you post on Social Media.
Beside, what is the stand of tribalism in a state election? A Yoruba man is contesting against another Yoruba man, so what are you saying? A very good post from BabaAdura! |

Throwback: Even me being a rabid anti-PDP, will not vote for Jide Sanwo-Olu, so that this arrogant cabal called Mandate Group can flex their muscles while chilling on the reserve bench of opposition party in Lagos, reminiscing on how they scuttled what was theirs for the taking.
When a people are too full of themselves to even reconsider their strategy so as to ensure their own self preservation, is it me that will now help them preserve what is not their birthright?
It is certain that Ambode will lose a direct primary or an indirect primary without Tinubu's support who imposed him on the party for his 1st term. However, it is time that APC realise that the only good thing they have going in Nigeria is Ambode, regardless of his failures or disregard for party sycophants. APC must be foolish to think what they have working for them is the name of their party.
The warning to APC is simple and clear.
Sacrifice Ambode, sacrifice Lagos. Teach Ambode a lesson for his disrespect, expect the Lagos electorate to also teach you a lesson for your disregard. You are quite right! Ambode for Lagos! |

2018, Ambode has offended Fashola, Aregbesola, Tinubu, Mandate group, Justice group, Party members, Civil servants and the electorate.
Out of all the SW APC Governors, not a single person is begging for Ambode. Governor Ajimobi of Oyo State has begged Tinubu severally on the matter. Many other Governors outside the South West had also intervened. The only people that have not prostrated for Tinubu over this matter are the President and the Vice President. Anbode should go for primary direct ,if he did well he will win and am sure tinubu will campaign for him. The people that will vote in the Primaries are Party members. Is every Lagosian a party member? Is it not the same party members that are rejecting the Governor's second term bid! What you are saying is that the Governor should go and face the very people that have withdrawn their support for him. As Dele Momodu rightly said, Tinubu controls the Party members and if he tells them to shield their swords, they will instantly obey. That is the simple truth! |
