This issue has been on ground for more than a year but because the court ruled in favour of the Muslims and people started accusing him of influencing the judgement. An accusation which they can't even defend.
why can't the Christian leaders appeal the judgement and follow the legal path towed by their Muslim colleagues ? I don't know religious leaders start behaving like this sef.
You want christians to appeal a judgment that favors muslims in a Muslim state? My dear, you will be wasting your time and money because the judgment was biased in the first place. Everyone knows the meaning of Uniform. Check the dictionary or even Google. |

_A lady's handbag which contained her cell phone, credit card, purse etc was stolen._ _Thirty minutes later she managed to call her husband from her friend's telephone, telling him what happened._
_Her husband said, "I just received your text message asking me to remind u of your ATM pin and I have replied a little while ago"._
_When they rushed to the bank, the staff told them money had already been withdrawn._
_The thief had used the stolen cell phone to text her husband and get hold of her PIN._
_Within twenty minutes he (thief) had withdrawn her money from the bank account._
_Pls when sensitive information is being asked for through text message, confirm by calling back._
_Also, when being texted by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them._ _If you do not reach them, be very careful about going places to meet family and friends who text you._
_PLEASE PASS THIS ON. You will never know who this might help._ A day or two ago, a Nairalander said the Banks should increase the ATM withdrawal limit to over one million Naira because the banks were going to limit over the counter withdrawal to N10,000. My response was that the bank customers will not be protected in cases of robbery, bag snatching, one chance, kidnapping etc. You can imagine if the ATM withdrawal is up to one million or above and if this lady had a lot of money in her account, the whole of her money would have been cleared. So it for our own protection that the banks put a limit on ATM withdrawal per day. |

That particular, each houses will be giving a small device that looks like a phone, you will use it to monitor your usage a d to load another unit when you finish your unit. They built this one so they can stop people who bypasses their current meter .. Is it going to be one meter per house or one meter per consumer. If it is going to an individual meter. will all the meters for one house be on the pole. Please educate us. |

Business › Re: Why We Should Reject The N10,000 Withdrawal Limit by murmee: 1:03pm On Jun 14, 2016 |
Scholar8200: The policy, if adopted, will lead to an increase in crime rate. Robberies at ATM sheds, Robberies in homes as people will keep cash at home for urgent transactionary purposes (to avoid the possible delay at the ATM sheds due to long queues and faulty machines.), highway robberies since traders will choose to carry liquid cash when travelling to avoid the frustration that comes with no network problems. Increase in cybercrimes as many semi-literate, illiterate etc who are novices in IT will be scammed and robbed of their hard earned monies.
The banks will also suffer as they will record low deposits from the masses especially the largely unbanked, informal sector. Besides, getting people to open accounts will be an uphill task. In fact, they will be hit by a tornado of frenzied withdrawals soon!
Moreover, the effort by DMBs to capture the informal sector will fail as these people, largely unlettered, will prefer to keep their physical cash rather than engage in the various e-payment platforms and all the possible issues that may arise. Your submission makes perfect sense!!! |

Eddygourdo: guess you have an issue with critical thinking, that you don't seem to understand human nature and system models. The existence of the american system forces its citizens to conform to specific standards and same applies here. The mind is free wheeling and its the laws and structures that abound which aligns it to any cause. So oga if the system is wrong, you will keep doing the saame things and getting no results. How do you blame a governor now, didn't u notice many workers are on strike ? And the governors are telling stories of reduced allocations ? Remove that option , change that structure and the governors would understand that its a call to servee, a seat meant only for the competent, where its more difficult to blame another for his incompetence. That you can see it, should speak more of ur ignorance my brother Did you really have to reply that IGNORAMUS. Anyway, thanks for shedding more light on your earlier post. |
Politics › Re: True Federalism, Its Advantages And Implications. by murmee: 11:22am On Jun 14, 2016 |
Eddygourdo: its a win or lose situation in federal structure, if the state doesn't do what it ought to do to generate funds, it can't get or expect aid from anywhere, the current system made the governors lazy and many forgot their roles, why invest when they can as well wait for monthly allocations from the center. That is part of the problem, the current system bred laziness. Plus people will be able to hold their leaders more accountable , eg all we here is buhari this , buhari that, and nobody has thought it wise to blame the local councillor, chairman or governor for incompetence. This is a very sound and eye opening post. Kudos! |

tomioro: How do you hope to enjoy light when the Avengers keep blowing up the pipelines on a daily basis? Stop blaming Fashola, talk to your boys(Avengers)! People are not blaming Fashola for the darkness. We are blaming him for paying for darkness. He was very quick to help the Discos and Gencos to increase their tariff but did not mandate them to install prepaid meters first to protect consumers from exploitation. Fashola should protect the people. He should make sure that consumers are not forced to pay for darkness! |

eleojo23: This will only work if the banks fulfil the following conditions. 1. Install more ATM's 2. Constantly load the ATM with cash so that it doesn't run out. 3. The network on the ATM must NEVER go offline. 4. The network for internet banking must never go offline. 5. Further reduce charges for using another banks ATM 6. Increase the ATM daily withdrawal limit to above N1 Million Your No 6 suggestion does not make sense to me. The bank customers will not be protected if the daily ATM withdrawal limit is increased. You are forgetting about armed robbers, one chance robbers and kidnappers that can take your ATM Card and force you tell them your PIN nos. Will you be happy if they are able to withdraw over one million from your account? Banks have a way of protecting their customers. To me, the limit should not go above N100,000 |

People that live in the estate can attest to this My sister and her husband live on that 7-up road and I stay with them anytime I go to Ibadan. The road is very bad. Ajimobi's house is on the road behind the 7-up road. If you enter that road from Mobil station and someone tells you that the Governor lives in the Estate, you will not believe it. It is a disgrace. You need to see the support the people in that estate gave Ajimobi in the first and second elections that brought him to power. If he leaves office without fixing that road, it will be a big shame on him. |

Secondly, International community can't give us a swift solution, A case study is Syria, Pakistan, Russia, Secession is not as easy as you think. The major mistake of PMB's administration is the revocation of the pipeline guard contract. I believe, without violence, there's a fix. Together we'll achieve great things. For a ship to sail well, sailors will say ; All hands on deck. Give Nigeria one more chance. I do not know your age but your reasoning is outstanding. Anytime I discus this NDA problem with people, I have always emphasized the fact that PMB should not have scattered the arrangements he met on ground concerning the pipeline guard contract. It was certainly not a wise move. Secondly, what PMB said about that Confab report was very tactless to say the least. What he does not know is that he has offended a large chunk of Nigerians with those thoughtless and insensitive statements. SMH! |

Politics › Re: Protest In Ogun Against Electricity Distribution Company by murmee: 6:16pm On Jun 09, 2016 |
When Fashola was making a case for electric tariff increase, Nigerians understood and reluctantly accepted the increment. One would have expected the minister to also protect the consumers by mandating the discos to instal prepaid meters to houses.
The minister should know that it pays the discos to collect moneys from consumers without supplying any light. That is fraud.
Nigerians know the challenges of gencos and discos especially with pipeline vandalism but we should not be made to pay for darkness. That would be inflicting double agony on consumers.
It is time for Nigerians to reject exploitation from discos and to say 'No Prepaid Meter, No Payment of Disco Bill' |

Would it not be better if the original owners of some of these schools take them back so that the Governor can adequately take care of the remaining public schools? No wonder NLC/TUC have lost the honor and respect they once enjoyed from Nigerians. They have now resorted to teaching school children the act of vandalism and lawlessness.
