I pray the way Jesus peace be upon him prayed 5x a day. Jesus peace be upon him prayed to his creator the way we Muslims pray to the creator. Alhumdullah It seems Muslims read the Bible a lot but they lack the Holy Spirit that is supposed to give them a good understanding of the Holy book. |

erico2k2: They are an essential part of society. The have come to stay .UK.us.have them. The big question you need to answer is whether in the UK & US you have just mentioned, the Governments of those countries sell foreign currencies to BDCs. We all know that BDCs exist in most countries but they DON'T source their currencies from the Government ( CBN) |
Business › Re: Buhari: BDC Is A Scam And Drain To Nigeria by murmee: 11:01am On Jan 30, 2016 |
Vig86: I think it is our banks that are causing the whole problem. I am not SURE but I think banks sell dollars(foreign currencies) to BDC for more than official price. That is why banks prefer selling to BDCs to selling tot their customers. I most cases, they will tell you they don't have dollars. This is just what I think. They are rent seekers. BDCs won't mind buying dollars for 250 from lo the banks. You are the only one that is saying something close to the truth. As a matter of fact, a lot of high ranking officers of CBN are the real owners of BDC licenses. Do you now see that Buhari is not just going against his Northern brethren. He is actually tackling the problem from the roots. He has information! |

Is there any country that doesn't have BDC operators. He should look for a way to restructure and regulate the BDCs so as to contribute positively to our economy and not label them scam n drain pipe.
The next thing now he ll scrap them off . Smh Are you actually saying CBN should continue to sell Dollars to BDCs? Please name one country in the world (apart from Nigeria) where this is done. |

As long as Hijab is allowed, suicide terrorism will not stop in the North. As a precaution, people in the north should avoid being in the midst of hijab wearing people and to take a run when you see the hijab people approaching in crowded places or large gatherings. |

If a country' s economy is good, it means the Customs force of that country is efficient and effective. The first thing that most countries that have developed do is to close their borders to importation of items that can be produced locally. The reason why that policy has always failed in Nigeria is because we have the MOST corrupt Customs in the world. All the importations through Cotonue couldn't have succeeded with a patriotic Customs service. |

When abnormality is practised for too long, it will be seen as normal. Nigeria is the ONLY country in the whole world where the Central bank or any bank sell foreign currencies to Bureau de Change. Everywhere else in the world, BDCs source their currencies from tourists, visitors etc who need local currency of host country. |

kubeconcepts: I think a review of dress codes in the north might be necessary at this time because most times these bombs are concealed under large, heavy clothing. You are right. Buhari should put religious sentiments aside and ban any hijab that is longer than the shoulder. If this government is serious about ending these suicide attacks then they should proclaim that no hijab should pass the shoulder level. That will make it difficult to hide the explosives under long hijabs. |
