Don4life: The first paragraph has more to do with fans than JM. Those are fanatical cum human behaviors of fans in such sports though I must admit some go overboard. E.g the guy that rammed over some fans just because they were celebrating UCL victory. As for JM vis-à-vis Wenger, you should remember that it's part of the game especially in England. Before JM, it was SAF vs AW. In fact, it was obvious when JM was at Real Madrid that the press + JM missed the jabs coaches threw in England. Also, JM mentioned his index for measuring failure; the number 4 spot trophy. Not to defend the garrulousness of JM but sometimes, these jabs are interesting to watch; remember when AW almost lost his cool when Arsenal met Chelsea. Don4life: The way your points 'connect' are confusing; from sacked coaches to background crew. Anyway, if I was unhappy about Di Matteo's sack, then Ancelotti's was worse. Nevertheless, you need to remember the way JM left the first time. It was clear writing on the wall that he would come back. The owner had an affinity for him, hence he brought him back to stabilize the team and implement a long-term strategy rather than changing coaches like diapers. For Eva, JM needs to give a public apology. Psychology has a way of playing its way and it may not be unconnected with the behavior/attitude of the players on pitch. His outburst was childish and totally unnecessary; she was acting as a medic would, not a technician. JM is not a medic and should not expect her to think like a tactician. Moreover, as a woman, she is 'emotionally expected' to react the way she did. How do we know when not to have another Fabrice Muamba incident Better to play safe than sorry. The last two points are fair. For me, let your works be louder than your voice. JM is an interesting character whether you like him or not. Sometimes, he just amazes me with his choice of words. I can vividly remember when he said after Chelsea lost a game that he fielded 11 wrong players. Methinks, he needs to talk less for now. It's hard to say you're number one and divert attention from yourself without proving your status |
KomradeKorsche:Oh, thanks for the reminder. So, Amaechi now becomes Hon. Minister Rt Hon abi ![]() |
When did Fashola become Honorable The same anomaly with Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi. Nigeria! |
Interesting development. Hopefully, he'll rise through the ranks and have a good combination of football + education. With this, I guess the young will start working hard and believe that their dreams could come true. From Kelechi (Man C) to Osimhen (T'ham), the premiership or whatever league is not just on your TV set anymore. You're now part of the TV crew ![]() |
Reyginus:Abuja appeared there ![]() |
You seem to have a passion for this thing. You were the one behind https://www.nairaland.com/1872539/jobs-posted-linkedin Or do you already have a site Guess you need to look into that quote: "best job is doing what you'll do for free" (subjective though). Cheers |
Teophilus96:Ogbeni, there is no point jare. Don't justify the non-pointification abeggi. ![]() |
project7:Though we do not have all the data available and like I have said earlier, death is inevitable, I want to assume that she took proper permission before travelling out of the state she was serving. You know, in this country, we tend to disregard rules and (bye-)laws. Unfortunately, when stuff happens, government authorities know when best to use them. |
Jarus:Exactly. While death is inevitable, the risk is higher of road accidents occurring at night. In a country where the roads are not lit, trailers/tankers drive one way, vehicles do not have all their lights intact, roads are bad and other flagrant disregard for traffic cum safety rules, I will NEVER encourage night travel. |
This is serious |
lovely17:Lol, Formerly Vivian blog. Na marketing |
Why should we be the ones analyzing his thoughts ![]() |
nikkiking:Did you notice the child in front, just beside the woman How many seat belts dem wan wear ![]() Later, when somtin happun, dem go dey blame hunters for village. Nonsense! |
This is unsafe and should not be encouraged. Now, who really are monitoring our vehicles? VIO, FRSC, Police etc If a vehicle hits that car from behind, those kids get injured. For this man to be this bold to carry this act out, una men, our law enforcement officers are sleeping be dat o. |
SirJeffry:Based on what research please ![]() |
Well, this is also a lesson to the webmasters to devise a more intelligent way of structuring such stuffs. The images could have been named after the question's numbers. |
Yomieluv:This is a summary execution - harsh! Anyways, none of my business. It's not always easy to get accommodation quickly. Moreover, we don't know his circumstance or financial status to decide. |
DrownedFish:My bad. Seen it. This is a sad development. It will surprise you to know that money for the maintenance of this building will be put in the budget, yet people will spend ill-gotten money thinking they are doing well. Good thing El-Rufai is a frequent social media user; the way Nigeria is, we are our own government. Tweet this at him cos sometimes, if powers that be are not involved, some people do not know when to play fair. |
Can we #MoveForward and leave GEJ's government out of this ![]() This press release smacks more of personal vendetta than an official release. Responding to Fayose will only give him what he wants; the attention. I would have expected a more matured response; a response that will silence him! |
Interesting. JJ Omojuwa must have been the subject of discussion (of the nocturnal meeting) for the team cos I am wondering why - why did the reply post come at 5:28am. Penkelemeesi |
DrownedFish:Unfortunately, Camp Rules require that he stays AT/IN the camp for the stated duration. |
Djblinkz:Even if you're TOUGHER than that, please do not do this - it only aggravates the issue rather than solving it. In fact, you'll be surprised how this company that cannot pay you will pay lawyers to see you in court. I am not in the best position to advise you but I'd say you should let your work speak for you. Do not let it burn with the warehouse. Like you have said, when your mind and body can no longer sustain the expenses, stay at home. When they call you, you tell them that you do nt have the funds to come to work. It's good this is starting early now since you've not worked for >6 months with no pay. |
StealthyMe:The way we conduct census in this country is amazing! |
Be careful what you post online and how you post online Mr Accountant. yinkaoke:What exactly does this mean? |
Methinks when it comes to regulations, there is laxity in our approach to such stuffs. Like many Nigerians have reiterated; our problems aren't usually about the absence of laws, it's the enforcement of! If MTN had any Legal/Compliance department that was proactive, I think they should have taken this seriously. I mean, they saw this coming nau. Unfortunately, the issues with our regulatory agencies is that they bark when saliva is dried from their mouths or bark when they want to show that they are the Oga Bingo in the neighborhood. No matter what the media paparazzi is, people feel that we can settle scores behind the scenes. Consequently, laws and regulations are not respected since many men are above the law. I just hope that after this media hullabaloo of this MTN fine, it will send a signal to (public) corporations and entities alike to respect the laws of the land. The money may not come to Nigerians as cash in hand but let's start enforcing our laws; that way, investors and 'inFESTors' think twice before 'acting anyhow' in Nigeria. MTN's advert will now read: "When NCC fined us in 2015, we were there". Like the advert also says, "we believe that Nigeria's future holds more ![]() |
Complain via the platform and quote the transaction reference. ^^ |
Until the wheat is separated from the chaff, we are not supposed to fuel the rumor mills, are we? ![]() |
These 'true' Naija fans may give you another dose of the treatment. Oliseh, reduce your social media interactions. Respond when necessary but avoid using it to 'fight' or release sensitive/confidential information. |
