Zceesneh:Fayose is described (by who ) as a very humble leader that is well adored (na object ) in the state |
The 18-year old is misguide - that's what 'they told him" NOT! SMH OP, you need to move around with the right people. The wrong people are saying so many bad things to you. Btw, your 'track career' could be destroyed with these kind of things you post online. Or, you want to be a popular athlete You've given soft-sells free |
While the source of the info is questionable, anyone that beats #AbachaLoot may make Nigeria collapse. Year after year since 1998, na so so recovery we dey collect. |
This is old news |
Yeahreen:OMG. They really look forward to seeing mugus soon. SMH |
When they say that shorthand is an indication of the terrible case we have of our graduates, dem go say na lie jare. Say we just dey para (paranoid ) anyhow. Now, the truth can't just hide itself. It's one thing to go to school, it's another to be schooled. That's why we have people finding it difficult to understand sarcasm, read beyond headlines and analyse issues. De brain dey die gradually!Nigeria |
I didn't see the need for the guest to attack the interviewer subliminally; saying Maupe must have come from the moon, she "didn't catch a lot of things", Suleiman is "not listening" or asking whether they knew the economic direction of the government etc were unnecessary. They spent almost 5 minutes discussing the evidence of the CBN's "directionlesness' and I liked the way the interviewers pointed out the need for him to disclose his source. It's something I notice about Nigerians; when asked to provide evidence and speak with facts, they begin to get edgy. For a former presidential candidate, I expected a better composure. Psst |
MonitorinSpirit:That picture has the colors of Airtel! ![]() |
Going through her posts and pictures, you can see the kind of words used by her just because of politics. 'Live' a legacy behind; let's be careful of the kind of words we use. Our legacies are being documented. |
It's the most useful pocket - the likelihood of items kept there getting lost is 1/5 jean pockets ![]() |
I would have given line by line responses to the OP's story (esp the Obj part) but really, what's the moral of this story? Is this illuminating how bad our values have gone now that bad is the new sexy c'mon!!! I think NOA needs to work more on bringing out the negative effects of corruption to the ordinary life. People don't yet seem to understand how it affects their daily lives indirectly. |
vivianblog3:This statement is unnecessary especially someone like you that is into business. How you manage(d) to have although and but on the same line beats me ![]() |
This is COT under a new name! We phased out COT in stages in 3 years and we brought it back again. |
aalangel:Your figments of imagination (converted to rumors) you mean ![]() "That's the only good thing about Nairaland; you won't know who you're talking to." Your anonymity on the internet does not in anyway correlate with the authenticity of your posts. A trained journalist knows the difference between facts and rumors + the importance of sources. Peace |
Topman0001:This solves your argument and those who claim Union House is taller save the mast head: www.blackborderbuild.com/nigeria-updates/what-will-be-nigerias-tallest-building |
Donald3d:I think the OP should remove the snapshot. I can see the names you blurred. |
There is a company called Shortlist - a brainchild of Philips Consulting. Apparently, this guy has capitalized on the information you have posted somewhere. Shortlist Nigeria's domain is not what this guy has. This guy is using a gmail account but was smart enough to put their website on the first paragraph. The guy is just a scam artist - for me, it is Shortlist Nigeria and other recruitment agencies that should be bothered about people using their names for this kind of stuff. For the prospective employee, do some basic research and 'look well well'. Just by his email address, you can tell! By the structure of their sentences, they give their 'smartness' away. No signature, no position etc of the guy. Abeg! |
During its 2015 Yakata Sales, Konga’s CEO Sim Shagaya took to Twitter to announce that Konga processed about N110 million worth of orders in the first four hours. How much was realized? |
Political campaigns in a different format. During festivities, politicians compete with advertising companies for space! They have this 'stomach' feeling that their image will be sustained during these periods and remembered during elections. |
Timbi:PARASITES!!! AGIP - Any Government In Power, they lurk around to 'benefit' from government. He said, “President Buhari took over on May 29, 2015 and has not rewarded APC members. Most of the heads of departments and agencies are members of the PDP who worked for Jonathan. For example, Onyeka Onwenu is still the Director-General of the National Women Centre while Mike Omeri is still the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency.Rewarded Mehn, he must reward the voters first o! No be only APC members that 'worked'. After all, some people were given incentives and still decided to vote whomsoever they chose. These guys did not work for Jonathan, they worked for the government of Jonathan. I will not play naiveté that some of these guys just dey do eye-service but if this government finds them performing and not sabotaging its effort, why send fellow effective Nigerians away ![]() He said it was as if the President was rewarding members of the Peoples Democratic Party and punishing APC members. That's the effect of cross-carpeting. Are these guys not Nigerians too ![]() “There are almost 100 ambassadorial positions that are supposed to have been filled but these people are still occupying the offices. We are not asking for security or sensitive positions but all these appointments I mentioned are not statutory but merely political. That's why Nigerians in the diaspora (NID) suffer. These so-called non-sensitive positions are very important. If we have political appointees who are just "yes-men", NIDs will continue to complain of the 'deadness' of our foreign missions. “Our people who worked so hard and spent money on Buhari’s campaign are languishing. There are many competent people in the APC.”There are many MORE competent NIGERIANS When will the interest of Nigeria(ns) override personal, selfish aspirations ehn ![]() |
Hashtags don't make you popular, constructive criticism does. I would advise that these guys stop creating hashtags that will expire after some hours or days. When they bring out issues that the government has done wrong, analyse the ills and proffer alternatives, pressure will be from neutrals to demand action from the government. |
tasceige:Yeah, you just read the script. |
Irresponsible reportage by the Vanguard. |
So what the OP wants us to believe with these selective images is that the IMF Boss is a messiah abi Some Nigerians can be weird. |
Iroko TV and co . . . .hmmmm |
This thread is under Politics, not Tribalism (a board I feel is unnecessary). Beyond the move to ban promotion of B!afra, Seun needs to watch it with hate that goes on here. Fron the Internet, these guys transfer hate to the real world. When you look at the source of their 'agitation' or tribal supremacy, you only see nothing but BIGOTRY. |
It's not yet your time FFK. "Won ma pe yin, ko o ti kan yin". ![]() |
To compound the embarrassment, Dalung inscribed his name on the dusty table provided for him. This is CLASSIC ![]() Nonetheless, many are Sports Ministers who have come to inspect the Surulere Stadium and many are those who have gone. I hope Dalung's inscription is an improvement that stands the test of time where he'll be remembered positively after he's gone. Because we do not demand accountability from our government officials, these guys get allocations from the budget but waste our money. Yet we want magic at sports competitions; it's never done! If there's a loophole in the management of these infrastructures, let a PPP be employed so that Sports can not only serve as a means of revenue but an avenue to create jobs for the unemployed. We are wasting our national assets and this is where corruption has led us to. Sports is big business but some thieves are making it big losses for us and big business for their stomach. SMH |

Why post a PRIVATE visit's pics on a PUBLIC forum ![]() |
In the olden days, threads didn't need to get to the FP to make an impact. In fact, I used to wonder why guys were crazy about threads getting there 'cos quality threads get/got watered once there. Nairaland is a forum; different segments exist to suit your interests. Some segments have quality posts and matured contributors making for an interesting read. The fallacy of the front page is that you get a 'headline' feeling which is what guests view. I do not think the mods need to push posts to FP for the jobs section to thrive. The Mods do not publish adverts; companies do. So, if the OP says "since the assumption of the new administration in Nigeria", he's invariably telling us that companies have been weighing their options since PMB resumed hence, the reduced number of adverts. There are a lot of swindlers here who need to get serious jobs but ironically post 'job' adverts here; you need to separate the wheat from the chaff. |
