Is Jesus not a Latinized name?

Is Iesous his actual name?

Yeshua , Yehoshua , Yahshua , Yehoshua , NOBODY knows for sure

Jeremiah, Jonathan, Jonah, John (same letter J", you no dey complain them are Latinized). .

Pls, Carry your GIBBERISH komot from here.
It doesnt take away the fact and honest truth that the name and word "Jehovah" you're using all time is an invented and bogus word, lmso and that it makes the whole Jehovah's Witnesses doctrine, theology et cetera, being built upon a wack, shaky, suspect, shallow and faulty foundation of fraud, WAYO, cunning and make-believe, considering that there is no letter J, in Hebraic alphabet, and powerfully so indicating then, that Jehovah cannot at all, in any real sense of it, possibly be an authentic name for God, lmso

Says the man who is Always Adding to the Bible, what is not there!
"It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.
(i.e. God is praised for being mysterious; rulers are praised for explaining mysteries.
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to investigate a matter.)
"
- Proverbs 25:2

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth
(i.e. Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman who accurately handles the word of truth)
"
- 2 Timothy 2:15

You wouldnt know what is there in the bible, when your only preoccupation is busy (i.e. being under satan's yoke) plucking only easiest to reach extremely low hanging fruits! You're a disgrace to the body of Christ because of the disservice you do to it, from not thoroughly and rightly handling the word of truth.

FOLYKAZE:
Oga I am repeating myself, for your own good abeg go and read. There are more than one sources of the scripture. One from the Elohist and the other from Yahwist. This is the reason we have contradictory creation accounts in Genesis 1 and 2. You don't pick one source and trash the other.

Majority of the hymn in Psalm are from the Elohist sources, having reflection of ugarit text and tales from ancient canaan documents. A critical example is Psalm 82. Go figure.

Therefore sir, if you've read extensively, maybe you have taken your time to compare and contrast the ugarit text, you would find that Psalm 24:1 you cited up there was referring to El or Elyon, the father of Yahweh, who gave out his possession to his children, Chemosh, Baal, Yahweh, etc.

Again sir, go and read
Ọgbẹni, there is no contradiction in the bible, and there are no contradictory creation accounts in Genesis 1 and 2. What you misinterpret as "contradictory creation accounts in Genesis 1 and 2" is a bird eyes view bare bones account and a flesh out account providing more information about creation, completing the narration by adding details, that's all.

You advisedly need to seriously clear the cobwebs from your head.

El or Elyon is not a father of any Yahweh. and fyi, Elyon means ''Most High'' with El Elyon means ''God Most High'' while YHWH, vocalised or articulated as Yahweh, is a descriptor word about God, that means ''I AM'', aka ''I AM, I AM'', aka ''I AM THAT I AM'', aka ''I SHALL BE THAT I SHALL BE'', aka ''I WILL BE THAT I WILL BE'' et cetera

When I asked you to tell me who or what you are, I was expecting you to replying with something in the line of: "I am FOLYKAZE" "I am married with two lovely kids" "I am a hardworking honest specimen of a male human being" "I am known not to be lazy nor shy from earning a decent good day's work" et cetera

The descriptor "I AM" is very powerful in revealing who and what you are. You obviously and no doubt behave in accordance to what and who "I AM" you are lmso.

I want to believe that we both agree and accept that Elyon isnt a title exclusively used for God aka YHWH or Yahweh, as the term, is equally used for El or Baal by the Canaanites.

I hope you agree and accept too, that its true Melchizedek didnt know and never acknowledged he is a priest of God aka YHWH or Yahweh, that all Melchizedek knew was that he is a priest of El Elyon (i.e. a priest of God, the Most High) Melchizedek identifies with the one and truly El Elyon, whose has the descriptor Yahweh, and its meaning to be what He wants to be well known and famed for but doesn't know
and he so unable to recognise El Elyon's descriptor Yahweh designate as being good or important enough for him to mention when he was blessing Abraham. All this bit juncture information might be unfamiliar to you, and already prolly flown past over your head, so I'll just pause here, so we both catch a breather, lmso

The only begotten Son, God has is Yahshua Ha Mashiach aka Jesus Christ and not any of your mythical gods mentioned in the likes of deities of Chemosh, Baal, et cetera.

you're not making sense.

you're yet to explain why you use Jesus, Jeremiah, Jacob, Joshua in your text!
I use Yahshua Ha Mashiach with an aka Jesus Christ, so to carry along those still in dark of knowing the real or authentic name. I try, as much as possible, to use Hebraic names and make a distinction between their Latinised/Anglicised names. Case in point, Moshe aka Moses, Yakov aka Jacob et cetera

I already submitted that there's no letter 'J' in hebraic alphabet, but hey thank you very much for reinforcing and confirming that point for me about the word "JEHOVAH" being bogus and the bare face truth fact thing, that makes the whole Jehovah's Witnesses doctrine, theology et cetera, being built upon a wack, shaky, suspect, shallow and faulty foundation of fraud, WAYO, invention and make-believe, considering that there is no letter J, in Hebraic alphabet, and powerfully so indicating then, that Jehovah cannot at all, in any real sense of it, possibly be an authentic name for God, lmso

[s]I told you to read and gave you area of concentration. Your response is that I am telling you what you already know... Shebi na because say you no won read?

Oga go and read.... Na opata you dey yarn around[/s]

Oga, I asked you to explain how, when and from whom Yahweh inherited Israel from according to Psalm 78:71. Nothing concern me with protoevangelium.

If Yahweh is the ultimate owner of the whole world land and populace, how come he Inherited Israel? Why should Israel be apportioned to him in Deut 32:8-9?
Do you practice at all what you preach? Do you walk your talk? I doubt you do either, because if you did do, you would be repeating I should explained, what I already have explained in my response back to you, but of course you didnt red or didnt read well enough what I typed, so the reason why you repeat yourself.

Now fyi, Psalms 24:1 states that: "The earth and everything on it, including its people, belong to the LORD. The world and its people belong to Him" and when God, in Exodus 33:19, says: "I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion", then now, give me a reason why should Israel not be possessed and/or owned by God? Focus: The Only Antidote for Sin

WORD FOR TODAY
The only way to be free from sin is to flee from it. It only takes a man who has been helped of God through the work of the cross to flee from sin!!!
************************************
Scriptural Reference
"Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
(2 Timothy 2:22 NKJV)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is no immunity against sin. There is no anointing that can prevent a man from sinning. The man who will not sin is the one who flees from sin. Irrespective of who you are and how great and long God has been using you, you are not permitted to toil with sin but to flee from it.
Each time you flee from sin you will escape from it. Joseph flees when he was tempted and sin did not catch up with him. You don't stand in front of sin to resist it. The way to resist it is to flee from it. You must be careful and seek God to help you to flee each time sin is crouching at the door. As you flee from sin, you are to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace as God's children.
+ Is your life free from sin?
Lord! Let grace be made available for me to always flee from sin and pursue righteousness in Jesus name. Amen!!!
Emphasis:
Sin will not catch with you if you find strength in God to flee from it!!!
Have a Graceful Worship Experience!!!
No species in nature, has been found in which homosexuality or homosexual behaviour has not been shown to exist, lmso. Plant life, hin dey there. Sea creation, hin dey there, lmso.
HuntSon:
Homosexuality is nothing abominable just say you don't understand it! And God is still very much against deceit! God made man and woman, God made Love too!
God made us gays that way and it's not our fault you don't understand it
Preach preacher! (i.e. Galatians 5:22-23, lmso)
HuntSon:
I love the way homosexuality turns y'all into preachers!
Yeah, turned into preachers supporting and encouraging:
bigotry, unjust hatred, homophobia frenzy totally based on falsehood, hypocrisy, misleading information, eisegesis, wack and mediocre contextual understanding of Bible verses
HuntSon:
If you wanna leave your parents and cling to ya wife that's ya biz, me I'm clinging to my husband cos that's who i love kiss
"I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed;
the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
"
- Luke 17:34
There is nothing abominable in homosexuality per se. The revulsion, and a righteous and just one for that matter, develops from homosexuality associated with infidelity, promiscuity, disloyalty, playing the field, having random frequent and/or multiple partners, idolatry ritual and temple prostitution practices et cetera, lmso
I could hazard a very good and correct guess, but I'll rather, throw it in the air wonder, what the one in Luke 17:34, did wrong, that made him, not to be taken, but to be left alone and left behind, lmso
If a human can have three names, God can answer million names
"13But Moses protested, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?”
14God replied to Moses, “I Am Who I Am.d Say this to the people of Israel: I Am has sent me to you.”
15God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel:
Yahweh, the God of your ancestors
—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.
This is my eternal name, my name to remember for all generations.
"
- Exodus 3:13-15
Twale Baba! If a human can have three names, God can answer infinity million names
That is the whole essence of God giving the Yahweh descriptor phrase, which means, "I AM that I AM or I AM who I AM or even I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE or I will become what I choose to become" to Moshe aka Moses, when he asked God what name he should tell the Israelites, if/when they get to ask him: "What is His name who sent you to us?"
The Yahweh descriptor phrase; "I AM that I AM or I AM who I AM or even I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE or I will become what I choose to become" essentially means, the One who is Unnameable, Inexplicable, Unfathomable, Enigmatic et cetera is who sent Moshe aka Moses, lmso
Exodus 3:15's "This is my eternal name, my name to remember for all generations," means, by this Yahweh descriptor phrase; "I AM that I AM or I AM who I AM or even I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE or I will become what I choose to become" is how I want to be well known forever famous for. It really and at all, isn't a personal name of God
Christianity Etc › Re: Does God Have A Name?—What Does The Bible Say? by MuttleyLaff: 4:32am On Oct 18, 2020
FOLYKAZE:
God introduced himself to Moses as Jehovah/Yahweh, a name not known to Moses' progenitor, Abraham, Jacob and Isaac. These people know a deity only as Shaddai, an epithet of Canaanite Supreme God known across the semitic countries as El.
El, the Elyon, known as the Most High is the father of Yahweh. The Ugarit text record that El is the father of yw. The history of Yahweh is traced to the nomadic known as Shasu. The bible recorded same in Deut 32:8.
The evolution of Yahweh formed from assimilation of El, Baal, Asherah, and Anat.
Religion of ancient Israel has gone through development and growth since 1400 BCE. It grew from Henotheism into Polytheism and finally took on monotheism after the return from Babylonian exile under in the reign of Josiah who invoke polemic on Baal and Asherah by instituting Yahweh cult as a state religion.
Beyond religion formations, Israelites are historically from Canaan. Their culture also reflect that of Canaanite. All the accounts in the Exodus are completely made up conspiracy.
Ọrẹ, fyi the word Yahweh, is a descriptor and is not all God's personal name. The word Yahweh, as a matter of fact, comes from a root word that means "to become," which is from how God told Moshe aka Moses to the tell the Israelites that "I will become what I choose to become" is who sent him to them when he, Moshe, asked for God's name. God sidestepped giving Moshe aka Moses any name but instead offered him the Yahweh descriptor (i.e. I AM that I AM or I AM who I AM or even I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE or I will become what I choose to become)
Ọrẹ, who are you FOLYKAZE? Who you be FOLYKAZE? Who you FOLYKAZE? Please, in one sentence, begin to start tell, who and/or what you are? I think you're getting the gist now, lmso, of about how God used the descriptor "I AM" expression to describe and identify Himself instead of and/or rather than giving in, to revealing to Moshe aka Moses, lmso, what His personal name is.
FOLYKAZE:
... Yahweh had evolved, and has continually evolve. Jesus, saints and Mary are now been brushed up into pantheons, that people now worship Jesus and Mary today.
Everything evolve, God inclusive.
Thanks
Ọrẹ, God changes not. God doesnt evolve and hasn't been in any evolved jagbanjatis nonsense business. It is human beings, that from the beginning were designed to evolve, lmso (i.e. Genesis 1:26-27) Why not please tell us what is the difference and omission you notice in Genesis 1:26 and Genesis 1:27? DappaD:
SOME PEOPLE SAY that he has no name, others say that it is God or Lord, and still others say that he has dozens of names. What do you think?
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS
“You, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.”
- Psalm 83:18.
"May they know that You alone
-- whose name is Yahweh
-- are the Most High over all the earth
”
- Psalm 83:18
"I am Yahweh, that is My name;
I will not give My glory to another or My praise to idols
"
- Isaiah 42:8
"Then everyone who calls on the name of Yahweh will be saved,
for there will be an escape for those on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem,
as the LORD promised, among the survivors the LORD calls.
"
- Joel 2:32
"and it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the "Lord" will be saved"
- Acts 2:21
Psalm 83:18, Isaiah 42:8 and Joel 2:32, verses above, each and all, have the word Yahweh used and not that your the invented and artificial Latinized name Jehovah and as for in Acts 2:21 seen also above, neither Yahweh nor the your again, the invented and artificial Latinized name Jehovah was used, but it is the Greek word "Kurios" which when translated into English correctly means "Lord," "Master" and even "Owner"
What is the point made here? The point being made is that God has never divulged nor revealed His personal name to any human being and this for reasons He explained on the basis that knowing His personal name is beyond comprehension, saying that there's no need to know His personal name because even if His personal name is known, the person couldn't understand it.
DappaD:
WHAT ELSE CAN WE LEARN FROM THE BIBLE?
• #1 Although God has many titles, he has given himself only one name.—Exodus 3:15.
• #2 God is not a mystery; he wants us to get to know him.—Acts 17:27.
• #3 Knowing God’s name can be the first step to having a friendship with him.—James 4:8.
You have made a mockery of trying to perfect the art of proof-texting.
What we can we learn from correctly, properly and fully reading the bible are:
#1/ In Exodus 3:15, God never has you've erroneously claimed gave Himself only one name, while smh sigh proof-texting with Exodus 3:15.
What God was messaging in Exodus 3:15 was not a personal name, but communicating what He should be renowned for, what He should be known to be famous of, what He wants to be remembered as, what He wants people to talk about Him of et cetera.
God in Exodus 3:14-15, in the original text, literally said, was that the Yahweh descriptor (i.e. which means, I AM that I AM or I AM who I AM or even I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE or I will become what I choose to become) is how He forever wants to be as a memorial be remembered as, that He significantly is the, I AM that I AM or or I will become what I choose to become.
The Yahweh descriptor, is not a personal name whatsoever of God
#2/ God funnily enough is a mystery, lmso, contrary to your erroneous claim that God is not a mystery, with your proof-texted Acts 17:27.
A quick look at Proverbs 25:12, Job 11:7, Romans 11:33 et cetera could have saved you making such a reckless, careless and ignorant claim.
You think it is "ẹwa oloyin" aka beans, that the Yoruba, in capturing the essence and degree of understanding God, call Him "Eledumare" ni, hmm?. Aside the Yoruba calling God "Eledumare" or "Olodumare" they affectionately describes Him also as "Awamaridi" which when loosely translated means the "Unfathomable One" (i.e. meaning, The incapable of being fully understood One)
Fyi, when to decontruct the word "Eledumare" or "Olodumare" that's passed as a name for God, you'll interestingly find out that it actually is a portmanteau word, of which the constituent words when loosely translated, means, "the Owner or Custodian of absolute energy and infinite mysteries, who has knowledge of all blessings"
God's personal name is so potent and Wonderful, to be just like that, rolled off the lips of mortal human beings. Take it that God is a Mystery, lmso.
#3/ My friend, when will all these your proof-texting with scripture stop. James 4:8, has nothing to say about God's personal name for you to there be saying "Knowing God’s name can be the first step to having a friendship with him" sic. What James 4:8, just like with whats in the intro of Matthew 6:9 and Luke 11:2, is communicating here, is relationship.
James 4:8, is saying, regard and behave appropriately towards God. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Connect with God and God will connect with you. Matthew 6:9 and Luke 11:2 in similar relationship light, is saying see God as your Heavenly Father et cetera. There is nothing about God's personal name featuring in James 4:8 that you cited
DappaD:
Is it wrong to pronounce God’s name?
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY?
• Yes
• No
• It depends
You dont have a God's personal name to start with or begin to want to pronounce, lmso.
The descriptor word Yahweh, is just a makeshift word, coming from YHWH, the Tetragrammaton, which is a composition of those four YHWH letters, that form the Hebrew word, from which the four letters transliterated as YHWH and articulated as Yahweh, is erroneously taken to be God's personal name
The letters YHWH are often seen in the Torah, where used as the name of God, in the time of Moshe aka Moses is written as. Yah is short for Yahweh (i.e. God)
As for the word Jehovah, lmso, this was created, invented, fabricated up and manufactured by people try to whip up a personal name for God. The word Jehovah, is as I earlier up above have submitted, is an invented and artificial Latinized name for the descriptor word Yahweh. In fact, the word Jehovah, actually is a modern day invention. The word Jehovah first started appearing in English Bibles in the 1500s. In fact the pronunciation Jehovah was unknown until 1520 to be precise, when it was introduced by Galatinus, an Italian Franciscan friar who believed himself to be the "Angel Pope" lmso.
The name Jehovah is a legacy word inherited from the period of Galatinus' Romanization influence of which your beloved Jehovah Witnesses organisation later on adopted. There is no letter J, in Hebraic alphabet, so Jehovah cannot at all, in the real sense possibly be God's name. Just because Jehovah, allegedly is popular and in widely acceptance, doesnt take away the fact and truth it is bogus, that its an invented and artificial Latinized name manufactured up by Galatinus, lmso.
The closest you will get to knowing or have a whiff of God's personal and/or real name, just as with Yahshua Ha Mashiach aka Jesus Christ is when "I AM ..." is used. The missing blanks and rest being incomprehensible to any human being, hence why not provided. Go figure, lmso
DappaD:
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS
“You must not take up the name of Jehovah your God in a worthless way.” (Exodus 20:7) The only time it is wrong to use God’s name is if this is done disrespectfully.—Jeremiah 29:9
What the bible is saying with Exodus 20:7 is that dont bring the descriptor Yahweh (i.e. which means, I AM that I AM or I AM who I AM or even I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE or I will become what I choose to become) that God is to be known for into disrepute, as in meaning dont give God a bad reputation while Jeremiah 29:9 is saying that, the descriptor Yahweh (i.e. which means, I AM that I AM or I AM who I AM or even I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE or I will become what I choose to become) was being used to perpetrate falsehood et cetera
DappaD:
WHAT ELSE CAN WE LEARN FROM THE BIBLE?
• Jesus knew and used God’s name.—John 17:25, 26.
The Greek word used in John 17:25-26, is "onoma" which is synonymous with a sense of speaking that means character, fame. Yahshua Ha Mashiach aka Jesus Christ has made the character and fame of God known to people
DappaD:
• God invites us to address him by name.—Psalm 105:1
Psalm 105: is saying, make widely heard and famous, the essence of what the descriptor Yahweh represents and stands for
Jeremiah 23:27, is saying, God’s enemies try to make people forget what He is famous for, forget the fame of what the descriptor Yahweh, means, represents and stands for
1StopRudeness:
Not again....JW and God’s name wahala....but nobody is dragging the issue with you people....
U don’t preach any other thing, u don’t hammer repentance, holiness, love .....just this issue of God's name.....:
Please what’s the significance according to scripture...??..there are 66 books in the Bible..if it was that important God would have stressed the need of calling his name like he stressed the need of repentance, holiness, and love...
Exactamundo!
DappaD:
If you feel you already know God's name from the Bible, then can you please step aside for those who don't know?
The world doesn't revolve around you. Thank you.
The name and word "Jehovah" you're using all time is an invented word, lmso. This bare truth fact, makes the whole Jehovah's Witnesses doctrine, theology et cetera, being built upon a wack, shaky, suspect, shallow and faulty foundation of fraud, WAYO, invention and make-believe. Remember, from above, I shared that, there is no letter J, in Hebraic alphabet, so indicating then that Jehovah cannot at all, in any real sense possibly be any God's name, lmso
[s]For an umpteen time, you need to read up sir.[/s]
Smh sighing yawn.
FOLYKAZE:
[s]But if you insist you have already know and do not reading more[/s]
Are you sure you are able to back up this reckless and careless statement purporting I insisted to "... have already know and do not reading more" sic. Why are people your sort so fond of fabricating things up, and taking needless pot shots at friendly interlocutors, lmso, huh?
FOLYKAZE:
could you explain when and where Yahweh inherited Israel from according to Psalm 78:71?
Are you familiar with the phrase "protoevangelium", hmm? God needed a human body in order to fulfil the "protoevangelium"
If you really want it explained to you when and where Yahweh inherited Israel from according to Psalm 78:71, then I simply will let you know that it all got hatched in the Garden of Eden, then at the appointment time, Abram was approached, then from Jacob aka Israel, a man, to Israel, the nation, was birthed. It is from this God’s own people, Israel, that the seed of Abram/Abraham will be a saving grace, redemption, salvation reconciliation blessing of the whole wide world back to God. Praise God. Alleluia.
Going by this logic, you can ask why did God create evil and ask us not to do Evil? why create hell? that's to show he already plans on burning some people, people who's action goes according to how he prescribes their destiny.
You were created and given the gift of freewill to chose and make the decision to for the long haul do exactly as God has commanded to do. Or alternatively opt to personally experience by self what is right/good and conversely what is wrong/evil.
A&E were advised to do good, but opted for evil, which is the absence of good, lmso. Hell is not a Jewish concept, so the correct question should have been: Why create Sheol? Yes, Sheol/ Hades/Hell/Gehenna and death along with compromised human beings will end up in the Lake of Fire.
God has not prescribed any destiny for anyone. It simply, is a matter of, as you lay your bed, you'll lie in it. You are what you are and have become. Period.
Eliaszinas:
God didn’t create them so.
He’ll is for the devil and so he deceives others to join him there. God never wanted that for man it was for satan. Sin is what changed everything but God loves the world that is why he made another way for us to escape hell
If according to you God didnt create all human beings, then who created homosexuals/lesbians/bisexuals?
Who has the power of creation, lmso?
Why do you want me to stop, especially when you are among friends, hey, lmso?
The bloodhounds are waiting, the wolves in wolf clothing, not even disguising in sheep clothing, are confidently baying to the moon salivating at the prospect of tasting your blood and you have the bare cheek, sorry for the pun, to ask him me to just stop. What a way to express a show of gratitude, hey, lmso.
certainly not a stereotype. homosexual men are effeminate, maybe not at first sight but over time its evident. of course but not all effeminate men are homosexhals but a possible way to identify gay men
Was Oscar Wilde effeminate? Leonardo da Vinci? Michelangelo? Van Gogh? The father of Computing Alan Turing? James Baldwin? Leo Varadkar, former Irish Prime Minister? Elton John? Enrique Martin Morales, aka Ricky Martin, the Puerto Rican singer? Bisi Alimi?
The son of God are the seventy children of Asherah. They form the second tiers of the council/assembly of the divines. The supreme leader of the pantheon is El....
"1Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-five years. His mother’s name was Hephzibah.
2And he did evil in the sight of the LORD by following the abominations of the nations that the LORD had driven out before the Israelites.
3For he rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had destroyed, and he raised up altars for Baal. He made an Asherah pole, as King Ahab of Israel had done, and he worshiped and served all the host of heaven.
4Manasseh also built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, “In Jerusalem I will put My Name.”
5In both courtyards of the house of the LORD, he built altars to all the host of heaven.
6He sacrificed his own son in the fire, practiced sorcery and divination, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did great evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking Him to anger.
7Manasseh even took the carved Asherah pole he had made and set it up in the temple, of which the LORD had said to David and his son Solomon, “In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will establish My Name forever.
8I will never again cause the feet of the Israelites to wander from the land that I gave to their fathers, if only they are careful to do all I have commanded them— the whole Law that My servant Moses commanded them.”
9But the people did not listen and Manasseh led them astray, so that they did greater evil than the nations that the LORD had destroyed before the Israelites.
You always like telling me things I already know. Why not try telling me something I dont already know or try show me how to suck eggs, erhn, lmso, hmm?
I hope you know what in Genesis 12:1, happened to Abram later to be called Abraham, lmso. You see Manasseh in 2 Kings 21:1-9 was one of the many, turning back the hand of the clock and times with doing a Proverbs 26:11's "As when a dog goes to his own vomit, and becomes abominable, so is fool who returns in his wickedness to his own sin" and/or even also doing the 2 Peter 2:22's "A dog returns to its vomit," and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud"
