Baba, let me know when you've had enough and are tired, so to kindly give you the link showing "chadash" used in Jeremiah 31:31 as an adjective and you will from the link, see Jeremiah 31:31 show up in a rightful proper and appropriate list showing "chadash" used in an adjective context and not a verb setting ![]() |
I am over 10 minutes waiting for you ![]() |
donnie:The less people know of a subject matter, the more stubbornly they think they know it. OK, please pull up Jeremiah 31:31 to feature, in along with that list of yours, so to confirm that "chadash" in Jeremiah 31:31 does mean renewal, to renew or renewed. Ice forming in hell has more chance of happening than you getting Jeremiah 31:31 popping up in that list ![]() |
donnie:Ah, olodo upon twenty F9 fail in English grammar Stop embarrassing yourself in public, just quietly go recheck, to find out that "chadash" in Jeremiah 31:31 is used as an adjective. "chadash" in other verses is a verb, but as for in this very own Jeremiah 31:31, it is an adjective. Why? It is because it is describing. It is used as a descriptor and not an action (i.e. not a verb word) |
donnie:The Jeremiah 31:31 "chadash" is rightfully describing something new hence why the "chadash" adjective is used instead of a "chadash" verb, which is a verb, denoting an action, such as something like renewing/renewal, which isn't the message that the Jeremiah 31:31 verse is conveying. Do you see Jeremiah 31:31, in the red ticked marked up list that with your own very hands provided above, hmm? Of course you wouldn't. Why?. It is because "chadash" in Jeremiah 31:31, doesnt mean renewed/renewal as you wrongly are claiming it to be. It means a new covenant, a spanky brand new covenant was given Even if bible was not originally written in English, we at least thank God for interlinears to see how the original text was constructed. Please go eat a humble pie, wipe off the egg on your face and go have a late siesta, to rest them tired gray brain cells of yours |
MuttleyLaff: donnie:You are just that dense and sloppy you cant even see that the word "new" used in Jeremiah 31:31, which is the adjective Hebrew word "chadash" is not even featured in any of your ill thought out red ticked marked list You think you are dealing with a wet behind the ear believer here. As you can see from above I have a good experience dealing with the various variant of the Hebrew word "chadash". "chadash" in the old Testament comes in two forms, namely its used as an adjective and also used as a verb. In Jeremiah 31:31, it is used as an adjective, meaning it is describing the covenant as something new. It isn't used as a verb, which is what renewing/renewal will be about, and so this is the reason why you wouldn't have Jeremiah 31:31's "chadash" pop up or feature in that interlinear list you pulled up |
eplanning:"34A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so also you must love one another. 35By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”" - John 13:34-35 Liar, liar, pants on fire. Yahushua made improvement with a new commandment, the law of liberty and/or the royal law. All the laws and the prophets, were fulfilled, which is why on the closing hours of Yahushua's ministry, you read Moses and Elijah, the representatives of the law and the prophets, appearing before Yahushua, in vision in that Peter, James and John witnessed on Mount of Transfiguration. Laws, are everlasting, even eternal, but in the presence of a stronger, more powerful, superior, better law, an older law is subdued, rendered inoperative, impotent, powerless and even useless, for inasmuch as the stronger, more powerful, superior, better law is enforced, applied and/or is retained |
donnie:Baba, you who is a konfam phoney, a black skinned African, an impostor, masquerading to be a true born real McCoy Israelite can run but you don't have any place to hide because I'll hunt you down, smoke you out, run you up and down the hill donnie:Read the following next below, to see how I demolished error and faulty foundation pack house of lies MuttleyLaff:As an addendum, "kainos" means, new in quality (i.e. an innovation), something fresh in development – because "its not found exactly like this or in this form before". It is anything that's brand new and is nothing about renewal or have anything to do with being renewed |
donnie:"Then Jesus declared, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath." - Mark 2:27 "One person decides that one day is holier than another. Another person decides that all days are the same. Every person must make his own decision" - Romans 14:5 "Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:" - Colossians 2:16 "He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant. This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life." - 2 Corinthians 3:6 It is only a superstitious letter-worshipper that behaves robotically in this manner. You defo don't appreciate that the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life, liberty and/or freedom from coming of age. What a pity. |
sonmvayina:You at one time or the other, will have to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour. You will have to at one time or the other acknowledge that Jesus is God and that you believe in Him. If you tick the boxes, you, at the very least, get a free pass to the kingdom of Heaven |
sonmvayina:Where did I get what from? sonmvayina:"Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but my ears You have opened. Burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not require" - Psalm 40:6 1The old system under the law of Moses was only a shadow, a dim preview of the good things to come, not the good things themselves. The sacrifices under that system were repeated again and again, year after year, but they were never able to provide perfect cleansing for those who came to worship. 2If they could have provided perfect cleansing, the sacrifices would have stopped, for the worshipers would have been purified once for all time, and their feelings of guilt would have disappeared. 3But instead, those sacrifices actually reminded them of their sins year after year. 4For it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. 5That is why, when Christa came into the world, he said to God, “You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings. But you have given me a body to offer. 6You were not pleased with burnt offerings or other offerings for sin. 7Then I said, ‘Look, I have come to do your will, O God— as is written about me in the Scriptures.’” 8First, Christ said, “You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings or burnt offerings or other offerings for sin, nor were you pleased with them” (though they are required by the law of Moses). 9Then he said, “Look, I have come to do your will.” He cancels the first covenant in order to put the second into effect. 10For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time. - Hebrews 10:1-10 Except for father Abraham, God has never required a human sacrifice from any other ordinary human being. The sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, was carried out through Him legally sentenced to die on the cross at Calvary and like a sheep being led to the slaughter or a lamb that is silent before her shearers, He did not open His mouth to protest His innocence (i.e. Isaiah 53:7 and Acts 8:32) sonmvayina:Yup, God called the Molech practice, the burning of children in the fire to Baal, the shedding of innocent blood, the blood of Israelites' sons and daughters, the sacrificing of them to the idols of Canaan et cetera disgusting to Him |
sonmvayina: budaatum: sonmvayina: sonmvayina: sonmvayina:budaatum meet sonmvayina's "What is God?" contradicting himself responses |
budaatum:I asked what book that comes within a mile of the Bible, in terms, of salvation, problem targeting, problem solving, clarity of purpose, freedom/freewill exercising, process(es)/procedure(s) et cetera and you palm forward Books of Plato and Aristotle despite their factual errors, The Quran, The Dhammapada, and Nelkon - my secondary school textbook on Physics, and have the cheek to add "to name a few" I am please you admit Books of Plato and Aristotle have factual errors, but how the Quran, escaped your notice of qualifying to having its own fair share of factual errors, as well, is baffling. Even the Quran’s teachings regarding salvation are inconsistent The Dhammapada and Nelkon - your secondary school textbook on Physics has nothing on salvation, nothing on sin problem targeting, nothing on sin problem solving. |
delkuf:I said quite a lot of things, so what part specifically didnt you get? Besides the post you replied to, wasn't even posted to you |
AntiChristian:What are you bleating about? Where is she in that narrative? What has a she, got to do in the narrative surrounding Matthew 8:10? Smh. |
helinues:"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world." - 1 John 4:1 The bible advises to test all spirit. Did you really think that you won't be subjected to scrutiny, hmm? Who does anything, like not doing that? helinues:My knowing is as a result of one of the spiritual gift of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit helinues:Please don't begin to try making up lies. You weren't asked to brag. You portrayed yourself to be "something up there" and knowing the state appalling state of the country, you were asked to give a modest list of the benefits to the country of you being "something up there" People are dropping dead like as if flies, why cant you use your so called realistic faith to deal with COVID-19, but you are pushing the responsibility off to pastors' quarters helinues:You put yourself in the position to be questioned. You were being questioned so to ascertain, check and confirm your alleged fruits helinues:Please don't play the prima-donna behaviour and victim card with me helinues:So says the chakra sage. Should I say "om", at this juncture. Smh. |
AntiChristian:"When Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those following Him, "Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith." - Matthew 8:10 It seems you aren't familiar with the encounter, Jesus had with a certain Centurion and his very sick and about to die servant. You my dear loving Muslim brother always gets hold of the wrong end of the stick sha. Thank God you have me always ready to bail you out. Apostles Paul, James and I learn from the best. We learn from Jesus Himself and what the Spirit of Truth teaches and/or shows us. |
helinues:If there was any ounces of empathy and compassion in your depraved soul, you would have stepped up to the plate and proffered a lasting solution to the scourge and/or affliction of COVID-19, but you are of course all mouth and no trousers helinues:The questions were too difficult and hard for you to respond to, so you have to resort to empty talk. Smh. Mtcheew helinues:This is a flawed and incomplete statement. You have proffered some information about yourself, that don't on face value alone, necessarily warrants believing in helinues:Your answers will show you up, and this makes you uncomfortable enough to not welcome questionings. |
donnie:Baba, about Monday (i.e. the moon's day, day devoted to worshipping the goddess of the moon) Tuesday (i.e. god of war Tiu, also known as Tyr) Wednesday (i.e. Woden's Day, the day when the god, Woden or Odin was worshiped), Thursday, (i.e. god named Thor day, the god of thunder) Friday, (i.e. goddess named Freya/Frigg/Frige, day, the wife of Odin) Saturday (i.e. god named Saturn day) and Sunday (i.e. god Sun, day), do you have other names for these pagan days of the week? Do you do or don't you, at all do pagan week days, Baba, lmao, hmm? .Anyway, by God's grace, Happy Monday in advance, you going to work tomorrow Moon-worship day. Hypocrite saw dust for brain, senile quadragenarian Baba ![]() |
helinues:You are very predictable. I just knew you will come up with this reply and that you will avoid responding to all the questions posed and fired at you ![]() You went cold turkey on all questions. The questions put the frightener on you ![]() |
AntiChristian:As for Romans 10:9, "... believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead ..." is the faith and "... confess with your mouth ..." is the work while with Galatians 2:16,21, righteousness, is obtained from believing in Jesus Christ, as ordinarily observing the law, but without faith in Jesus Christ renders your purported work useless James 2:14, is saying, faith by itself, without any demonstrated work, wouldn't save dilly squat. James 2:17, is complementing and merely re-echoing James 2:14, while James 2:24 is repeating the fact featured or mentioned in James 2:14 and James 2:17. There are no contradictions between the verses |
sonmvayina:"The life of every living thing is in the blood, and that is why the LORD has commanded that all blood be poured out on the altar to take away the people's sins. Blood, which is life, takes away sins." - Leviticus 17:11 The shedding of animal blood only provides forgiveness. It doesnt reconcile or redeem souls back to God. The blood of animals was only capable of facilitating forgiveness. It didnt reconcile man, back to God. It is the shedded blood of Jesus that reconciled man back to God. Jesus' purpose on earth was to be the Lamb of God taken to slaughter for the sin of the world. Redemption, reconciliation and/or the restoration of friendly relations with God, came through the shedded blood of Jesus. |
donnie: OkCornel:Baba ready to discuss the dna results on ancient Israelites buried in Israel in bible times kẹ. That occasion will happen, only when pigs fly. Baba doesnt want to see his black Hebrew lie crashing down, so will conveniently do an absent without leave (i.e. AWOL) and missing in action (i.e. MIA) |
helinues: Why should pastors have cured the Corona patients? Why not you? Why are you excluding yourself? Why aren't you stepping up for the challenge? helinues:Unfortunately, not all dreams come true and so why we always have the poor with us helinues:We are handed different playing cards from the deck in life, so don't get self conceited please helinues:How did you get to conclude I haven't studied chakra and that I don't already know about myself, huh? ![]() helinues:I am pleased you acknowledge this fact and truth helinues:I am sure you are the sort of person who believes your being literally can fly helinues:List a few benefits to mankind, at least ten, from what's been working for you, and that has especially improved quality of lives in Naija as well. |
helinues:As I previously have said, I have read of a "moG", walking into a lion cage, believing no harm will befall him, but the lion inside the cage made a good dinner of him I have read of a "moG", larking about with a poisonous snake, because he believed no harm would befall him but he got bitten and soon after died from the snake venom. I have walked into a waiting room, saw a chair I thought I could comfortably sit on, only for it to collapse under my weight upon settling down in it. Are you saying both these men were dishonest or insincere in their faith, hmm? Are you saying, my faith in the chair, that collapsed under my weight was not honest to start with? You know in the world, there's is something called "calculated risk", when it comes to a God approved faith, there is something akin to that terminology. There are governing principles that makes faith be realistic. Optimism, too does help, it is a means to the end, optimism is an ingredient that facilitates realistic faith, it isn't the real deal nor the real McCoy. Faith, is a gift from God. Faith is, God given. Faith, comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God or through a saying of God. |
helinues:I have read of moG, walking into a lion cage believing no harm will befall him. I have read of moG, larking about with poisonous snakes, because they believed no harm would befall him but he got bitten and soon after died from the snake venom. Are you saying all both these men were dishonest or insincere, hmm? helinues:1/ How do you measure and/or determine realistic? 2/ How do you know what is sensible enough and practical to achieve or not achieve? |
helinues: helinues:No I didnt miss the "some honest work" part. If I did, I wouldn't have typed, if I honestly go in front of my microwave and patiently wait for the Nairaland web page to load up on it. Will my faith be justified? Will I have results/answers of a Nairaland web page appear before me anywhere on the microwave? It looks like a great faith and a plausible good thing to do, to go patiently wait in front of my microwave for a Nairaland web page to load up somewhere on it, but the rule governing how web pages are loaded wasn't followed. Having great faith to cross a 16 lanes busy motor expressway without using the designated pedestrian bridge will be foolhardy, potentially have fatal consequence and is not necessarily real, good or great faith |
helinues: helinues:"23Jesus replied, “Why do you say ‘if you can’? Anything is possible for someone who has faith!” 24At once the boy's father shouted, “I do have faith! Please help me to have even more.”" - Mark 9:23-24 If I honestly go in front of my microwave and patiently wait for the Nairaland web page to load up on it. Will my faith be justified? Will I have results/answers of a Nairaland web page appear before me anywhere on the microwave? There is little faith, there is pseudo/false faith, there is weak faith, there is ignored faith, there is having no faith, there is room for more faith, there is et cetera faith |
helinues:Big man like you don't understand simple and elementary bible 101 things like this, huh? What part(s) specifically don't you understand? |
ichuka:Justification, is not a one trick pony. You first climb and sit on the Justification pony, with belief/believing (i.e. having faith), a noun, then you ride it by works (i.e. demonstrate the belief) a verb or actions |
Kobojunkie:Demon(s) believe and tremble, but purposefully refuse to do work that will give them salvation ichuka: Kobojunkie: delkuf:"42Then he (i.e. the thief) said, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” 43And Jesus said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”" - Luke 23:42-43 "For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved." - Romans 10:10 "I tell you the truth, everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, the Son of Man will also acknowledge in the presence of God’s angels." - Luke 12:8 The thief confessed with his mouth, which led to him be saved and to meet Jesus in paradise, that very day, later on. helinues:"God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God." - 2 Corinthians 5:21 Abraham willingness and/or preparedness earned him a mention, a place and/or position in the greatly desired or enviable Hebrews chapter eleven "Hall of faith" or "Faith Hall of fame". The giants in the corridor of the enviable Hebrews chapter eleven "Hall of faith" or "Faith Hall of fame" exercised one kind faith of the other that was taken by God to qualify as a semblance of righteousness acceptable to Him. These great men and women of Hebrews chapter eleven "Hall of faith" or "Faith Hall of fame" didnt have the benefit of 2 Corinthians 5:21 above, that we are enjoying but they saw far, just what the thief on the cross as well saw, believed, publicly acknowledged and confessed |
