...the issue did not start today... 4 countries are affected(Niger, Nigeria, Chad and Cameroon) that's why they created the multi national joint task force... And you think for Chad to protect there borders is easy... The lake Chad basin is basically Nigeria and Chad, the border is soo vast with no clear demarcation... Come lake Chad in kukawa LG in Borno and you won't know if you are in Chad Or Nigeria and the people around there are same(no difference)

..cant you read... All this attack by ISWA are coming from the lake Chad fringes... That area has border with Niger, Chad, northeastern Nigeria and northern Cameroon. The Boko Haram insurgency now has taken a new dimension (ISIS in West Africa,) . They attack this 4 countries, not long 7 Chadian soldiers were killed. They created the Multinational task force(MNJTF), comprising of this nations to fight Boko Haram... It's not just a Nigeria thing... And there ability to operate with that vast area in 4 countries is not helpful...though the army and the government are not utilizing the best way possible with probable sobatage and bad morale and equipments within the army.

These guys operate between 4 countries... Chad, Niger, North eastern Nigeria and northern Cameroon... The whole of borno sef is the size of all southeastern states combined with additional land mass( am not joking).... the army is not really in complete control of all areas in borno, especially the northern fringes that borders the neighbouring countries... These guys operate in a vast area that hasn't even be governed in recent times...that area (south eastern Sahara) has seen so much conflict and most fighters in the group are seasoned fighters. The army really is not helping matters and also I feel Nigeria need international help Because ISWA is a multi national problem and we can't handle IS, it's very obvious... Considering the region the group cut across, we need international hands for proper surveillance and coordination..
